Logan gave a slight smile, glancing at Liam. “It’s strange, isn’t it? Almost like we’re brothers or something.”
As we kept walking, Logan’s pace slowed, his eyes scanning the area. “We need to find a spot to rest. If that thing comes back, we’ll need our energy.”
Liam nodded in agreement. “Maybe we can find some shelter. At least something to keep us out of sight.”
We wandered a bit further until we stumbled upon a small, rocky overhang nestled against a hillside. It wasn’t much, but it offered some cover from the elements and hid us from view. Logan motioned for us to settle down, and we quietly gathered under the overhang, each of us finding a spot to sit on the cold, hard ground.
I huddled close, wrapping my arms around myself for warmth. The chill of the night crept in, and the distant sounds of the forest filled the silence. Logan pulled his jacket off and draped it over my shoulders without a word, his warmth giving me some comfort. I looked at him gratefully, but he just gave me a small nod, his eyes still on the trees as if he was keeping watch.
Liam leaned back against the rock wall, his eyes tired but alert. “We should take turns keeping watch,” he suggested. “Just in case.”
“I’ll go first,” Logan volunteered, settling into a position where he could easily keep an eye on our surroundings. “You two should rest. I’ll wake one of you when it’s time.”
I lay down, feeling the cool breeze but I could not sleep. It did not even take Liam up to ten minutes to doze off.
I shifted on the ground, trying to find a comfortable position, but sleep wouldn’t come. My mind was still buzzing with the night’s events, replaying the creature’s shadow, the chase through the forest, and the strange connection that seemed to exist between me and it. Frustrated, I finally sat up and glanced over at Logan, who was sitting a few feet away, his eyes scanning the darkened forest.
Without a word, I stood and quietly walked over to him. He must have heard my footsteps because he turned slightly, his gaze softening when he saw me.
“Can’t sleep?” he asked, his voice low and warm, a quiet presence in the still night.
I nodded, wrapping his jacket a little tighter around myself. “Too much going on in my head, I guess.
Logan’s gaze lingered on me, a hint of mischief in his eyes. “Mind if I take your mind off for a while?”
I looked at Logan, caught off guard by the playful glint in his eyes. My heart skipped, and I felt a warmth creeping up my cheeks. “Okay,” I whispered, barely able to get the word out.
He leaned in slowly, his hand reaching up to gently cradle my face. The world around us felt like it faded away, the chill of the night forgotten as he closed the space between us. His lips brushed against mine, soft at first, almost hesitant, as though he was giving me a chance to pull away.
But I didn’t want to. I closed my eyes, leaning into the kiss, letting myself forget everything. For just that moment, there was only us. His hand slipped to the back of my neck, deepening the kiss, and I felt a thrill course through me, grounding me and lifting me at the same time.
Logan’s hands slid down to my waist, pulling me closer. The world around us faded, the forest, the night, all falling away as he leaned into me, his warmth enveloping me entirely. As he gently guided me down to the ground, his fingers found the buttons of my shirt, and I felt my breath catch.
“Wait,” I whispered, resting my hand on his. “Are… are you sure you are okay?”
Logan paused, his expression softening as he looked into my eyes. “Of course. What do you mean by that?”
He smiled, brushing a strand of hair from my face, and his lips found mine again. This time, the kiss was slow, deep, filled with a warmth and tenderness that melted any lingering hesitation. His hands moved carefully, tracing a line up my back as he continued to hold me close, grounding me in every quiet, unhurried moment.
Our kiss deepened, and I felt Logan’s hands slip over my shoulders, his fingers brushing against my skin as he moved with care, tracing gentle lines that sent a shiver down my spine. He looked at me for a moment, a silent question in his eyes, and I gave him a small nod.
Logan’s hands moved to the clasp of my bra, and he hesitated, giving me a reassuring smile. Then, slowly, he undid it, letting the last bit of fabric fall away. His gaze softened, his expression a mix of warmth and awe, as though he was seeing all of me for the first time.
Logan’s hand lingered around my chest, his fingers gently brushing over my skin. I felt a rush of warmth at his touch, a mix of nervousness and excitement. He looked at me, his eyes full of a soft intensity, as if he wanted to make sure I was comfortable.
His fingers traced small circles around my nipples, sending shivers through me. I held my breath, feeling the heat rising in my cheeks.
After he was done with that, he dives his head down and started licking on my nipple. My mind drifted back to when my mom caught us but at least this time no one would probably see us cause Liam was far long gone in his sleep.
His tongue-tailed round my nipple and I liked the way it made me feel.
“Bite it,” I requested.
Logan did not hesitated he did as he was commanded. He bite my nipple which made me to whimper hard but I still liked the feeling. I liked the way it made me feel.
Logan moves slowly to my ear side, whispering. “Audrey, I want to fuck you!”
