It was the most familiar kiss, so practiced that no teasing was needed. The man’s tongue entwined with hers, leisurely yet impatient.
Callie almost suffocated before he finally let go, holding the back of her head, his eyes charming and bright.
Their gazes locked, and there was only a swirl of desire and excitement.
Callie trembled as she spoke, “Nelson…”
Nelson lowered his head and kissed her again, without giving her a chance to resist.
The man’s shirt and the woman’s dress were no longer the picture of propriety. A hint of exposure was the best form of seduction.
Nelson snatched the room card from Callie’s hand, and the door opened with a beep, pushed open in a flurry.
Callie turned and bumped into the wall, her head hitting it, but he quickly pulled her back into his arms.
Their kisses missed each other, and hot kisses landed on the skin exposed to the air.
The smooth and compliant feel of the woman’s body was addictive, blood flowing hotly, pulses gently beating.
Callie was almost lost in passion but managed to hold on at the last moment. As Nelson pushed her onto the bed, she blurted out, “Scumbag!”
Nelson finally paused. His eyes shimmered as he laughed, “Scumbag?”
He still held her tightly in his arms, able to quickly withdraw from the passion, looking at her leisurely.
Callie almost wanted to applaud Nelson, angered and embarrassed. “If you’re not a scumbag, who is?”
Nelson stared at her.
“Those people downstairs would never imagine that the person who was just at odds with me is now being intimate with me.”
Nelson smiled faintly. “Quite romantic.”
Callie was furious, unable to move, and said in exasperation, “Aren’t you going to give the bracelet to your beloved? What’s the point of entangling with me here?”
The usually superior Nelson suddenly produced a small box from somewhere. Inside was the bracelet, shining brightly under the light.
He spoke slowly, “Give it to whom?”
Callie was stunned.
The next second, he ordered, “Hand out.”
Callie really couldn’t react this time.
Her hand was forcibly taken by Nelson. He took out the bracelet from the box and slowly put it on her wrist, his movements slow and gentle.
His series of actions made Callie feel like he had a split personality, switching between violent and gentle in an instant.
Was this… meant for her?
“For me?”
He didn’t deny it.
Callie gave in, “Then why did you fight with me over it?”
What could have been settled for a million turned into three million. What a waste.
But having received the gift, she couldn’t really blame him. Callie hesitated for a long time before squeezing out a sentence: “…It’s too expensive.”
Nelson didn’t care: “I have money.”
This was something Callie had always dreamed of saying so casually one day.
She got even angrier.
Nelson leaned down again; there was no reason to refuse anymore.
His actions clearly showed submission. Callie had no choice but to go along with it.
She had experienced these things many times before; it never really mattered each time.
But for some reason, this time, she kept getting distracted and feeling uneasy.
The man keenly sensed it. His gaze turned sharp instantly, then he increased his force in an instant. “Callie, focus.”
Callie frowned tightly, instinctively hugging him closer. Feeling his warmth, she let her consciousness drift away as if that was the only way to feel at ease.
She closed her eyes tightly. With him, she was always deeply entangled, never clear-headed.
