He paused and continued, “It’s that the the Folsom familyBlanca Miss is in surgery, bleeding a little too much, already arranging for a blood transfusion, but … still depends on her will.”
Hearing this, Paige’s breath stuttered, “That bad?”
She’d thought the gunshot wound would be fine if it wasn’t in a critical area.
“Yes.”
Nick nodded, “And then there’s the stoppage of the organ, Lamont and Cynthia went over it, it’s harder to get.”
Both were sort of competent in that area.
With that said, he glances at Cynthia and Lamont, signaling them to come out and report.
Lamont then stepped forward and opened the design drawings that had been rolled up in his hand and said, “Sister Paige, this organ is still hooked up with the signal over here, affecting the signal use of this large area.”
“I know, when the organ was in operation at that time, the signal was gone.” Paige said faintly.
Cynthia stood and said, “That underground space is a total torture chamber, Brother Nick meant to just blow the place up, but …”
“Beinice?” asked Paige, who could probably guess what the problem was.
“He didn’t say anything about it, it was his son Casey who ran over and asked if the organ had to be destroyed for it to work.” Nick said in a hushed voice.
Casey’s implication was obvious, this bombing, Rachel will completely disappear from this world, not even half a trace will be left, not bombing, at least you can still pack something to burn and leave some ashes down.
The Folsom family really treats Rachel as family, but Rachel doesn’t feel that way.
Paige looked to Cynthia and Lamont, “With what you two can do, how long would it take to get the organ to stop?”
“It’s pretty complicated, it’ll take two or three days anyhow.”
Lamont and Cynthia looked at each other and said.
Two or three days wasn’t that long.
Since she was here, she couldn’t just leave all this behind and go.
She nodded, “Then you guys will work hard.”
“Yes, Sister Paige.” The two immediately responded, and the plan to blow up the underground space came to a halt.
“How’s the old man doing?” Paige asked again.
Enrico stood aside and watched her, worrying about one thing after another.
At that, Nick’s face became even more grave, “Now there are a total of four people in THE Folsom family who have been poisoned by the compulsion, the old man, that Yemmy, and a couple, I heard that they are Kelsey’s parents, and after Kelsey escaped, they looked for Rachel to mess with, and they were killed.”
It was a compulsion that no one up and down THE Folsom family could cure, and the doctor they’d brought in wasn’t up to it.
Paige looked sideways at Enrico, who grunted coldly, “Save it, hurry up, save it and leave.”
He didn’t want to stay in this place for one more day.
Listening to Gabriel chanting was more fun than staying here.
“…”
Twisted man.
Obviously willing to go along with everything, he had to put on a grumpy face.
Paige was a little helpless.
…
The Folsom family carried the bewitched four into the hall, their faces all pale under the covers, eyes sunken and dark underneath, gazes lifeless.
Paige and Enrico walked in from outside holding hands, and the the Folsom family crowd looked at her.
This child of Blanca’s was worthy of the old man’s favor, and was too capable.
If it wasn’t for her today, none of them would have survived.
Beinice, who was sitting down, immediately stood up and looked at her somewhat eagerly, but didn’t have the face to say anything to ask for help.
“Nick,” Paige snapped indifferently.
Nick and a few of them immediately stepped forward and pushed people to the side, “All of you, please stand away from me and give the patient some fresh air.”
Upon hearing this, the Folsom family crowd didn’t dare to question anything, and were busy obediently backing away, all the way to the wall, looking away from Paige.
Enrico pulled a chair over and sat straight up, leaning back lazily.
Paige walks to the middle of the four patients, lifts the covers to check their physical condition, and opens their mouths one by one, only to see that all of them have different degrees of ulcers in their mouths.
Paige’s eyes went cold as she walked over to Jasper, who had been unconscious since he was rescued, his eyes tightly closed.
She bent down and opened Jasper’s mouth, her breath lagging as she looked at the ulcers inside.
How can this be …
After a long while, she closed the old man’s mouth, her tone still calm, “Send the old man back to his room and wait for Blanca to get off the operating table before treating him.”
Hearing this, Beinice can’t help but step forward and look at her worriedly, “Why, does curing the old master and Blanca have anything to do with each other?”
Can’t they be cured together?
Paige raises her eyes and looks over faintly, responding, “The old master’s body is already on the verge of decaying, and by the time I take out the parasites from his body, he’ll be down to his last few words.”
In that case, it was always good to have both children around to listen to the last words.
Upon hearing this, the THE Folsom family crowd erupted, and Beinice’s feet gave out and she stumbled into a nearby chair.
Casey rushed over to Paige, her eyes red, “Is there nothing else that can be done? Is it any medicine you want, no matter how rare or hard to get, I’ll get it, Paige, think again …”
The old man was the backbone of THE Folsom family.
“…”
The best medicine would be a regret pill that would make them all do it all over again and they would never trust Rachel again.
But there are no regret pills in this world.
Paige looks at them one by one like this, and after thinking about it, she still doesn’t stimulate them, and only lets the people carry the old man down, and then starts to mix the medicine in public.
Seeing her like this, Casey didn’t dare to say more and silently retreated to the side.
Paige put the dried worms mixed with several medicines together and mashed them.
Enrico looked at her fixedly, his woman was really good at everything.
After the mashing, Paige crushed a fine piece of incense, lit it and threw it in, a wisp of smoke slowly rose up from the inside with a faint sandalwood scent.
She lifted the covers off of everyone.
The crowd looked over openly to see the three lying there begin to look pained and moan lowly.
Casey worriedly swooped down to her own mother’s side and whispered soothing words, but the next moment she saw a bulge on the left side of her mother’s nose, which looked very scary on her chiseled face.
Paige was in the middle of sterilizing a tiny scalpel when she saw it, and she leaned over as quickly as she could and made a shallow cut directly into Yemmy’s face.
A very small, tiny worm immediately crawled out of the fuzzy flesh and blood with a fishy odor, and it didn’t take long for it to crawl out before it lay motionless and dead on Yemmy’s face.
“Huh, that’s disgusting.”
Cynthia stood and whispered, “This Rachel, doing this to her own mother, what a piggish beast, why even bother with ashes.”
Beinice and Casey listened, both silent.
Yemmy lay there, no pain coloring her face, but the tears couldn’t stop dripping from the corners of her eyes.
“Go to the doctor, see if the wound needs stitches, and just take a little blood tonic to slowly nourish it.” Paige picked away the small insects on it and said towards Casey.
Upon hearing this, Casey looked towards her gratefully, “Thank you, little sister.”
