Chapter 627: Your Show, It’s Over Now

Book:The Psychotic Girl's Revenge Published:2024-11-6

“…”
Casey gripped his gun, his eyes full of indignation that he couldn’t make out.
The Folsom family sidekick was completely deluded, looking at this scene couldn’t even understand it.
To say that Beinice is the head of the family, there is nothing to criticize, but now what kind of scene is this, Casey brought Paige to fight up, to kill his own sister who is so sick like that?
Enrico leaned back in his chair, his head lazily tilted over toward Paige, sleepiness coming back.
“Alright, what’s the point of arguing, if you can’t argue then ask the old man to come out.” Enrico raised his voice.
At these words, the people from the side branch of THE Folsom family all came back to their senses and said, “Yes, Beinice, we’ve come back this time to report on our duties, and we’re all thinking of visiting the old master.”
“How is the old master’s illness? The temperature is low over here, why don’t we transfer to the warmer south to recuperate?”
“That’s right, the place I’m staying now has the best climate.”
Beinice sat there, listening to her hands shaking twice, and pressed her voice, “The old master is very sick right now, it’s not suitable for transferring, nor is it suitable for seeing people, you guys don’t need to see it.”
“How can this work?”
There was another outcry in the hall.
“Well, father, you really don’t want everyone to see anyone, they’ll still think it’s like we, father and daughter, have killed the old man.”
Rachel slowly stood up from her position, her skirt sagging, “Come on, I’ll take you to see the old man.”
At that, Beinice immediately turned his head to look at her, his eyes full of shock.
Rachel also looked at him, and Beinice’s hand shook two more times.
The maid at the side pushed up the wheelchair, Rachel walked over a few steps and stumbled a little, she pressed her heart and sat down in the wheelchair for a while before she slowed down her breathing, she suddenly lifted her eyes to look at Enrico and smiled, “Enrico, the doctor said that I’m not very well, would you come and push me?”
Upon hearing this, Enrico lowered his eyes to look at her, his thin lips hooked into a mocking arc, “What kind of daydream are you having?”
Paige sat listening, she didn’t laugh, Nick, Lamont and a few of them stood outside the door, but they couldn’t help but burst out laughing, each looking at Rachel with amusement, like watching a clown perform.
“…”
Rachel knew Enrico’s nature, but she just couldn’t help it, she didn’t expect to be laughed at by a few people from her former college.
Once upon a time, the district Peak Club was stomped on by the Elite Club led by her.
But now …
She averted her face, “Let’s go.”
The maid pushed Rachel away, Beinice saw this and got up from his position a little agitated, looking towards her to say something when his body was suddenly bumped.
He turned around and saw Paige standing beside him at some point, her eyes looking at him calmly.
Beinice looked at her, her eyes slightly agitated, and opened her lips to say something, but still didn’t.
Paige withdrew her eyes and walked forward when her arm was suddenly grabbed.
She turned around and Beinice stood still and shook her head at her wordlessly.
“…”
Paige gave him a faint look and reached out to pull his hand away, resolutely following Rachel forward.

Rachel led the group of them hugely to the location of the private cell.
Paige took one look at the fact that she and THE Folsom family’s private dungeon were quite a match.
The path down to the private cell wasn’t smooth, and Rachel, no longer able to ride in a wheelchair, let the servants help her up, taking three steps and stopping to move forward.
“Wait.”
Along the way, Casey was extra cautious, and every time he reached a mechanism designed by the private prison, he had to stop and check it first before allowing everyone to continue in.
“Beinice, what’s going on? You’re letting the old man stay in a private cell when he’s in this state?” Someone in the Folsom family side branch asked excitedly.
Beinice walked through the group almost numbly without speaking as Rachel stopped and said in a weak voice, “Grandfather’s illness requires shade and should not be seen in the light.”
“What kind of illness can’t be seen in the light?” The Folsom family man questioned, “No, you invite the old man out in a hurry.”
“What kind of sickness mustn’t I ask my good brother?”
Rachel mockingly looked back at Casey in the group, “It’s been said that the old master is afraid of light, you guys still want me to invite him out, how big of a face are you guys, if you don’t want to see his old man, you guys can just stay outside.”
After saying that, Rachel went back inside.
Paige turned her eyes and Enrico exchanged a glance, nothing so-called followed forward.
Nick and the others naturally followed closely.
The people of the Folsom family looked at each other, thought about it, and still followed.
One of the stone walls of the private prison was opened, and the pitch-black hole in the ground gradually lit up with light, revealing a ladder leading underground.
“How did we get this in our private cell?” Casey said in shock, looking to Paige again and reminding her, “There wasn’t any underground space here before.”
It was clearly new construction.
The Folsom family was also very confused.
Rachel turned her head to Paige with a slightly provocative look in her eyes, as if asking her if she dared.
Paige looked down, this is the urn that invites you in, isn’t it?
“All set to prepare yourself for a long sleep?”
Paige sneered, and pulling Enrico with her, she stomped down the steps.
Both of them dared to walk, and naturally everyone behind them followed one by one.
Rachel stood there, watching the two of them carry each other, and coughed weakly two more times, the back of her hand brushing to her lips and staining them with blood again.
The underground was supposed to be a rather large new space.
The reason why it was supposed to be was because they couldn’t get a glimpse of the whole thing from where they stood.
In front of them, were countless blocks of mirrors, about four meters high, sealed straight to the top, shining vaguely at all of them, a wall of mirrors in dim light, perhaps a maze of mirrors inside.
“I’m getting dizzy and nauseous just looking at this mirror right now.”
Peak Club’s twin brothers couldn’t stand to look at this mirror shining on them from everywhere.
Everyone else was also a little uncomfortable even though they didn’t say so.
“Grandpa, it’s right behind this door.” Rachel pointed to a mirror across the room.
There was a handle on that mirror, and the mirror slowly appeared to change, slowly turning into a clear piece of glass.
Through the glass a black room could be seen inside, a chair against the wall with a thin old man sitting on it with his head hanging down, his hands and feet chained.
Behind the old man, the wall had a concave shape, glowing with blue light, a block of ice like city bricks in the inside, blue light in the cold white air around the old man.
It was a chilling image to watch.
Casey and a brother in the side branch Eduardo can not stand to see, the two red-eyed, shouted “Grandpa”, then coincidentally rushed over to hit the door.
Once the door was pushed open, the scene inside was not what we had just seen, but a dark and unlit room.
Fine and noisy insect cries appeared above the crowd, and countless bugs swooped out from the inside like nets in the darkness.
“…”
Rachel stood there, a glint of excitement to the point of triumph in her eyes.
Just like that, it all swooped out and burrowed into each of them, making them scream.
But the screams didn’t come, and as everyone wondered what was going on, Paige calmly spoke out, “Cover your mouth and nose and back off.”
Rachel looked over in dismay and saw Paige suddenly pull something out of her sleeve and slam it into the ground.
After a “bang” explosion, countless white smoke ejected out, scattering in all directions, filling the area.
The smell was pungent and unpleasant.
The sound of insects screaming was obviously messed up.
How did …
Rachel couldn’t see anything in front of her eyes, and she frowned to see what was going on when her neck was suddenly pinched.
The next second, her back slammed hard into the mirrored door, hitting her stomach and causing a strong taste of blood to well up in her stomach.
The white smoke faded and the flying insects fell to the ground, struggling and waiting to die.
Paige stood calmly in front of her, her slender fingers not tightening around her neck, a pair of clean eyes looking at her with coldness and disdain, “Rachel, your show, it’s over.”
