AVA
We scoured the rogue camp for what felt like hours, and all we found out is that there must have been five of them and that they hadn’t been gone long.
Once we were all back at the pack house, the Kings and I opted to have a quiet dinner by the lake instead of dealing with the chaos of the dining room.
By the time we reached the lake, the team had put together a picnic for the five of us, complete with candles. We toasted to us before settling into the selection of goodies Paula had picked out for us. I could tell it was Paula from the sheer quantity of baked goods she included.
Once we’d all eaten our fill, we relaxed on the shore, watching the stars over the lake. Theo and Noah sat on either side of me, their arms around the bottom of my back. Oscar and Callum sat off to the side, and I could clearly tell they were mindlinking each other.
I glanced up at Noah, and saw that he and Theo were linking as well.
I rolled my eyes, taking advantage of their distraction to get up, strip, and run into the lake. I hadn’t been swimming for long when Noah and Callum came out to join me. It had been so little time that I hadn’t even noticed they’d come out of the link.
When I glanced back to the shore, Theo was missing.
“Where’s Theo?”
Callum’s face wasn’t impressed. “Stormed off.”
“Why…?”
“Jealous.”
“For fucks sake,” I growled. “I told him this isn’t going to work unless he curbs the jealous act.”
“I know, little one,” Callum replied, running his lips along my neck.
“He’ll come around, my Queen,” Noah replied, his mouth on my shoulder.
I moaned when Callum’s hands cupped my face, and his mouth crashed into mine. Noah’s hands cupped my breasts through my bra, his mouth still trailing along my shoulder.
A hand suddenly appeared at the waistband of my thong; or at least that’s what it felt like. I broke away from Callum’s mouth, a little in shock. Callum’s hands were still on my face, and Noah’s were fighting with my bra. Which meant…
Yup.
I looked back towards the shore to see Oscar sitting there, one hand on his cock, smirking at us. Oscar’s ‘hands’ ripped the thong away from my body, drawing a gasp from my throat.
Callum and Theo hardly responding meant they’d planned this between them.
“You look so good, Ava,” Oscar’s voice teased through my mind. “I bet you feel even better.”
I cried out when he pushed two fingers inside me, my body trembling in between Callum and Theo. Oscar pushing inside me harder had me up on tiptoes, before adding what felt like a third finger.
One of Callum’s hands left my face to make its way in between my legs. His skilled fingers went straight for my clit, teasing circles around the bundle of nerves. Between Noah pinching my nipples, Oscar’s ‘fingers’ inside me, Callum’s kiss and his fingers on my clit, the three of them had me exploding in no time.
Callum and Noah held me up between them as I came back down from my orgasm, my body quivering thanks to Oscar still working his magic.
We all swum back to shore, and Oscar and Callum moved away a little to give Noah and I some privacy. “Ava… when can I mark you?”
I thought about it for a moment. I didn’t really seem to have any major issues, but who knows? “Tomorrow, Noah,” Artemis took over and replied, her voice low.
“Thank you,” he smiled, kissing my forehead before turning around and shifting. He was hoping to find Theo.
THEO
I hated this. I hated the entire situation.
I didn’t want to share my mate, and I definitely didn’t want to share my mate with my brother and our best friends.
When I walked away from them all at the lake, I shifted and ran out into the woods towards the river. There was a treehouse there that dad had made for Noah and I when we were younger. Now, it was my safe haven.
“Theo!” Noah suddenly shouted out from below me. “I know you’re here!”
“Fuck off, Noah,” I growled.
He climbed up before kneeling in front of me. “Theo, talk to me. What’s going through your mind?”
“I can’t do this, Noah.”
“Can’t do what?”
“I can’t pretend I’m okay with other people fucking my mate.”
The look on Noah’s face… he looked like he was going to punch me.
“Theo… I know it’s not what any of us expected, but in the long term, none of us will be truly happy in life unless it’s the five of us together, especially Ava.” He looked down at his feet. “The Moon Goddess pairs us with our mates for a reason, Theo. Ava will have been paired with each of us because she completes us, and collectively, we complete her.”
I stood back up, walked over to the window of the treehouse to look out over the forest. “I get that, I do,” I sighed. “I can see us all sharing her as a short term thing, but as a lifelong thing, it doesn’t feel right.”
“Theo… what do you need to make this work? Right now, you’re not just hurting yourself, you’re hurting Ava, and she is already going through enough.”
“I know I’m hurting her, Noah, trust me, I don’t want to be.” I growled.
“This will get easier once she’s marked all of us, until then, we’ve got to make sure we do everything right so we’re all safe. But once that’s settled, we can work out what this should look like going forwards.” He paused for a minute, standing up and walking over to me. “So what do you need? Do you just need one-on-one time with her? The five of us don’t have to do everything together all the time, Theo. The key is we all need to talk about what we want and what we need.”
Yeah… one-on-one time with Ava sounded pretty fucking good.
