As soon as he turned her around, Paige stood in front of him, calm to the point of being unruffled, her eyes clear and distinct, but instead, it was him, his eyes red and wretched.
“Is it okay to have a celebratory dinner, this weekend?” Paige patiently asked again.
Enrico looked at her, the droplets of water in his hair falling downward, sliding down a nice, quizzical brow.
What celebration dinner.
Is this the time to talk about a celebration dinner?
“Can’t we open it?” Paige fixed her eyes on him.
“… can drive.” Enrico paused, squeezing the words from his throat.
“Good.” Paige signaled her receipt, nodded faintly, and turned to leave.
Enrico grabbed a handful of her thin wrist, “That’s it?”
Paige stared back at him, puzzled, “Do you have anything else to say?”
“You don’t have anything to say?”
And she just accepted it?
“What did you say about what you did with the medicine?”
Paige looked at him calmly, her tone as usual, “I’ve told you what I think, you’ve told me what you’ve decided, and I respect that. Come on, it’s time to go down to dinner.”
“Dinner?” Enrico looked at the woman in front of him in an almost eerie way.
Dinner?
She was in the mood for dinner?
“Yeah.” Paige looked at him quizzically before pushing his hand away, calm as water and straightening her sleeves, “Let’s go or the food will get cold.”
After saying that, Paige turned to leave.
“…”
Enrico stood in place, looking at her back as she dashed away in disbelief.
Speechless.
The food was cold.
Why didn’t she worry about it, he was dying.
A nameless fire instantly swam through Enrico’s entire body, and he smoothed back his short, damp hair, the more he thought about it, the more upset he became.
What was wrong with this woman? She’d been so crazy about him at Wind Island!
Now she was calm as hell again, and in the mood to throw some kind of celebration party.
Was it overstimulation?

Paige walked into the dining room.
Gabriel was already seated at the table and immediately jumped out of his chair when he saw her appear and pounced towards her, “Mommy, hug Gabriel!”
When she saw Gabriel, Paige smiled and bent down to pick him up, asking him, “Did you have a good time today?”
“Happy.”
How fun to not have to go to an early morning class.
Gabriel pulled out the string around his neck and spun the tiny metal ball, “Mommy, is it pretty?”
Paige’s gaze stared and she replied, “It looks good.”
“I think it looks nice too.” Gabriel loved the one little ball and held it in his hand and kept playing with it.
“Make sure you keep it, Daddy is giving you the most precious thing he has.” Paige said as she hugged him.
Enrico heard this as soon as he entered the dining room and the fire pushed down slightly.
It was still like a human sentence.
“Huh?” Gabriel was a little confused, “Daddy’s most precious thing is a ball?”
Come to think of it.
When they were at the border, Daddy didn’t even have any money on him, so it was obvious that it wasn’t much of a good thing.
“…”
Enrico ground his teeth, striding forward as he lifted Gabriel out of Paige’s arms and onto the dining room chair.
“Daddy!” Gabriel’s eyes lit up at the sight of him.
After the first call, it became more and more natural to call again later.
Paige sat down at the table, the dining room chairs beside her being pulled out with a great deal of commotion, and Enrico sat down hard in his dining room chair, sidling toward her, one eye locked on her.
The table was pretty much set with a couple of stir-fries and hot soups to go.
Ignoring the gaze of the man beside her, Paige picked up her chopsticks and grabbed one of the white-burnt shrimp, reaching down to peel off the shells and place the shrimp across the Enrico into Gabriel’s bowl.
Gabriel immediately scooped it up with a spoon in his tiny hands and shoved it right into his tiny mouth, munching happily.
“…”
Enrico doesn’t move his chopsticks, just stares at Paige, urgently.
Staring so hard that even Gabriel noticed something was wrong, he chewed on the shrimp and asked vaguely, “Daddy, why don’t you eat and keep looking at Mommy? Oh, do you want Mommy to peel the shrimp too?”
“You shut up.” Enrico turned his head to glare at his son, “Can I be fed like you?”
As the words left his mouth, a peeled and intact shrimp was placed on top of his bowl of rice by a fair-skinned Zoey.
Gabriel blinks at Paige who handed him the shrimp and then at Enrico, waiting for his next move, to eat or not to eat, huh?
“…”
Enrico looked to Paige beside him, she was sitting quietly, one side of her hair hooked behind her ear, revealing a small delicate ear, her head bowed and she was peeling the shrimp carefully.
He pursed his lips and suddenly raised his hand and pressed it to Gabriel’s head, forcing the little head to turn around before quickly taking the shrimp with his left hand with chopsticks and putting it in his mouth.
“…”
Gabriel looked confused, not knowing what was happening.
Enrico withdrew his hand and took a sip from the glass of water in front of him, his eyes looking deep into Paige’s, “Paige …”
“Want some more?” Paige peeled another shrimp and turned her eyes to him.
Her face was clean and pretty, and her eyes were clear as water, not a single negative emotion could be seen, as usual.
“…”
Enrico looked at her like this, nothing soothing words could be said, after all, she looked like she didn’t need to be soothed at all.
After a long time, he jawed.
“Good.” Paige responded softly, handing over the shrimp in her hand, not in a bowl, but still directly to his lips.
The look was gentle.
“…”
Really overstimulated and acting out.
Enrico stared at her suspiciously, holding her wrist and staring at her as she opened her mouth to bite into the shrimp.
“…”
Gabriel sits and watches in silence.
Olivia still keeps saying he’s growing up, and look, isn’t it normal for Daddy to grow so tall that he has to be fed by Mommy, and he doesn’t take classes?
The maid served a soup, steaming as soon as the lid was lifted.
Beau butler stood aside and introduced, “Dendrobium flower gelatin casserole, stewed for quite a long time, little young master … Gabriel, do you want to drink, I will give you a little bit?”
The young lady did not let them call Gabriel the little young master.
The young lady has never taken class seriously, and wanted to invite him and Olivia to eat at the table together, jokingly, how would they dare to do so in front of the young master, that is, if they went to the table, this meal would not be good to eat.
“Yes, thank you Grandpa Beau.”
Gabriel responded obediently, changing her posture to a kneeling position to make herself appear taller, and then pushed a small empty bowl next to her towards Beau’s butler.
“Would you like a drink?” Paige asks with a sudden, caring turn of her eyes toward Enrico as she watches Steward Beau serve the soup.
Enrico looked at her even more suspiciously and said with his mouth, “Yes.”
Paige then picks up an empty bowl in front of her and stands up, takes a spoon to serve the soup, while serving it, she looks at Butler Beau, “Butler Beau, I’ll be hosting a celebration banquet at the manor on the weekend, there are a bit too many people, a bit of a hassle, and I’ll also be troubling you to help me with the full management of it at that time.”
“No trouble no trouble, this is what I should have done in the first place.” Steward Beau busily said, resting the bowl in his hand in front of Gabriel.
