Brennen Morrow’s heart skipped a beat as he spoke.
Recently, he had heard bits and pieces about major events happening in The Wilderness, and most of them were related to Billy.
The most shocking news was that even the nether clan leader had been killed by Billy.
When he first received the news, he almost bit his tongue in disbelief. It was hard to believe it was true.
Just a month or two ago, Billy was not even on his radar. At that time, Billy could barely contend with the early stages of the Prime Source Realm. Yet, in such a short period, he had managed to kill Aarav Callahan, who was at the late stage of the Prime Source Realm.
If Brennen knew that even Neil Armstrong, a first-rank Returning Source Realm expert, had died at Billy’s hands, he would have been even more shocked.
“You have two choices. Do you want to hear them?” Billy said calmly.
“Go ahead,” Brennen Morrow replied after steadying his emotions.
“Submit or die,” Billy responded.
“Quite the bold statement!” Brennen Morrow took a deep breath.
“My patience is limited. You better decide quickly. I’ll give you three seconds,” Billy said.
“Did you have the Demonic Clan kill our leader?” The black-robed elder behind Brennen Morrow spoke in a deep voice.
“Nether clan members?” White Tiger looked at him and said, “Your information is quite outdated! Your leader was killed by my boss. It had nothing to do with the Demonic Clan!”
“Ignorant!” The black-robed elder sneered. “With his strength, without the help of the Demonic Clan, our leader could have obliterated him within one move!”
Clearly, he did not believe that Billy had killed Aarav Callahan.
“You are truly an idiot!” Judge retorted.
“You better watch your mouth, or I won’t hesitate to…” The black-robed elder frowned.
“Your leader was indeed killed by me. If you want revenge, go ahead and call for reinforcements. Bring as many as you can. I’ll be waiting here,” Billy interrupted.
“Foolish!” The black-robed elder’s tone turned cold. “Since you claim to have killed our leader, let me see if you have the strength!”
As he spoke, a powerful aura erupted from him. He pulled out a pitch-black saber over two meters long from his storage ring and slashed it towards Billy.
He was at fourth-rank Prime Source Realm.
“Ignorant!” Casey’s voice rang out as he wielded the Nether Flame Spear, summoning a blue fire dragon in mid-air.
The next moment, to the elder’s shock, his pitch-black saber was burned into a blue blade and then melted into molten iron by the blue fire dragon.
At the same time, the elder spat out a mouthful of blood and retreated a thousand meters, his face full of horror.
“What kind of spear is that?!” the elder couldn’t help but ask.
“Ask the king of hell!” Casey replied as he charged again.
“Damn it!” The elder’s pupils contracted. Unable to dodge in time, he quickly formed a seal with his hands to block the attack.
In his current state, he was clearly no match for Casey. The Nether Flame Spear pierced through his defense and went straight through his heart.
“You…” The elder opened his mouth with difficulty before collapsing, lifeless.
Around them, gasps of shock echoed as everyone looked on with fear.
“You now have three choices: submit, call for reinforcements, or die,” Billy said calmly to Brennen Morrow.
“You are too arrogant!” Brennen Morrow took a deep breath and pulled out a sound transmission stone to send a message.
“It’s a pity. Your Heavens Sect originally had a chance to survive,” Billy continued.
“You should worry about how you’ll leave Wilderness City alive today!” Brennen Morrow retorted.
“Just wait and see,” Billy said before turning to Casey. “Leave this to me. You and Purple Spirit take Stout and Azure Dragon to the Heavens Sect compound. Heavens Sect disciples who cripple their cultivation can live; otherwise, kill them all!”
As he spoke, Purple Spirit emerged from him.
“Understood!” Casey nodded in response.
With that, Casey and Purple Spirit led Azure Dragon and others towards the Heavens Sect compound.
“Stop them!” Brennen Morrow shouted angrily as he led his men in pursuit.
However, with Billy there, they couldn’t go anywhere.
The next moment, countless blade lights flashed above the City Lord’s Mansion courtyard. No one, including Brennen Morrow, could withstand these blade lights.
Brennen Morrow tried to force his way through but retreated after receiving several deep wounds on his body.
Many others were cut in half and fell to the ground. Those who narrowly escaped hid deep within the courtyard, their faces filled with fear.
“You deserve to die!” Brennen Morrow roared in anger.
“Feeling desperate?” Billy responded calmly. “From the moment you sent people to Silent Ruins Sky Realm, you should have anticipated the consequences. I already gave you a chance; you refused it. Who else can you blame?”
Brennen Morrow opened his mouth but had no words to respond.
At that moment, an overwhelming aura swept across the sky as if it would collapse the entire space.
Soon, a group of people appeared within Billy’s sight.
Leading them was a white-robed man with a goatee and a fierce expression. His eyes were like those of a beast.
This man was Raymond Callahan, the former leader of the nether clan!
His cultivation was on par with Neil Armstrong’s-a genuine first-rank Returning Source Realm expert!
Behind him were eighteen individuals dressed in black robes and wearing skull masks. Each held a two-meter-long pitch-black scythe, exuding murderous intent.
Among these eighteen, the weakest was at the fourth-rank Prime Source Realm, while the strongest was half-step Returning Source Realm!
Ghost Dark Guards!
As expected of the nether clan, their combat strength was formidable!
“Greetings, former clan leader!” Brennen Morrow flew over to Raymond Callahan and bowed deeply.
“Useless!” Raymond Callahan replied coldly.
“Former clan leader, that kid is very strong. Don’t underestimate him!” Brennen Morrow took a deep breath before flying towards the Heavens Sect compound.
With nether clan members holding off Billy, he could finally return to their base camp.
Billy did not stop him.
“Aarav Callahan was killed by you?” Raymond Callahan asked Billy after glancing at Brennen Morrow’s retreating figure.
“Don’t believe it?” Billy retorted.
“How do you want to die?” Raymond Callahan’s voice was icy cold.
“You should consider that question yourself,” Billy replied with a cold smile.
“Ignorant!” Raymond Callahan raised his hand. “Surround him and kill!”
As his words fell, the Ghost Dark Guards quickly spread out and surrounded Billy.
“Kill!”
The next moment, over a dozen people wielded their scythes and attacked simultaneously.
Eighteen experts above mid-stage Prime Source Realm attacked together-an undeniable force.
Eighteen pitch-black scythes drew sharp blade lights in the air, covering an area of four to five kilometers. The void was torn apart by these blade lights.
Buildings within the City Lord’s Mansion courtyard were reduced to ruins in an instant. The ground was marked with terrifying scars from the blades.
Some people who hadn’t evacuated in time were torn apart into pieces amidst screams and cries of agony.
