Boom!
Before Jennifer could finish her sentence, a tremendous noise echoed in everyone’s ears.
The ground beneath their feet began to shake, and the entire space around them trembled.
“This space is about to collapse, get out quickly!” Jennifer shouted again.
“Go!” Billy didn’t hesitate and led everyone towards the teleportation channel.
Boom! Boom!
Just as they entered the teleportation channel, another loud noise erupted within the space. The entire area was filled with thick dust and mist, accompanied by flashes of lightning.
It was a scene of utter destruction!
“Ma’am, what’s happening?” Judge looked at Jennifer and asked, “Why is the space collapsing?”
“I don’t know!” Jennifer shook her head, her face showing a hint of seriousness.
“Ma’am, are you sure the Demonic Clan members were sealed in that space?” Stout asked.
“I’m not sure!” Jennifer shook her head again.
“This independent space was created by a master from years ago. I only know it’s a place to break the seal, but I’m not certain if the Demonic Clan members are inside.”
“I see,” Stout said again. “If the space has collapsed, wouldn’t all the Demonic Clan members inside be…”
“Stout, stop talking!” Felicia glared at Stout.
Crow’s mouth, couldn’t he see Jennifer’s face had changed?
“Ma’ma, since Miss Sanaa asked you to find me to break the seal, she should know the outcome,” Billy said to comfort Jennifer.
“Most likely, the Demonic Clan members are not inside. This place is probably just an array eye.”
“Yes!” Jennifer nodded.
Half an hour later, they emerged from an ancient well.
“It’s done! It’s really done!!” As they came out, a hunchbacked old man approached them.
His face was filled with uncontrollable excitement, and his previously dull eyes shone brightly.
“Ma’ma, I’m afraid you might be disappointed. The Demonic Clan members might all be…” Stout spoke again.
“Stout, shut up!” Frostblade rolled his eyes at him.
“Look over there!” The hunchbacked old man ignored Stout and pointed ahead.
Everyone, including Jennifer, looked in that direction.
“Huh?!” They all exclaimed in surprise.
In the sky about tens of kilometers away floated a mountain range, not too big or small, covering an area of several thousand square kilometers.
Ahead of Billy and the others was an open plain with a sizable manor built at the foot of a mountain.
The environment there was vastly different from The Wilderness, with lush green trees, birds singing, flowers blooming, mountains, and water.
Additionally, the entire space was surrounded by a rippling barrier that seemed to be fading over time.
“Ma’ma, could that be the Demonic Clan’s base in The Wilderness?” White Tiger asked Jennifer.
“Exactly!” Jennifer’s eyes welled up with tears, and her body trembled uncontrollably.
“Mr. Billy was right. The stone tomb earlier was likely the array eye. Once it was broken, this space automatically unsealed!”
“Amazing!” White Tiger and the others exclaimed simultaneously.
“Thank you!” Jennifer bowed deeply to Billy.
“You’re welcome, Ma’ma!” Billy bowed in return.
“Thank you!” The hunchbacked old man also spoke.
“It was nothing, Ma’ma,” Billy responded.
“Come on, I’ll take you up there!” Jennifer said and led everyone into the air.
Soon, they arrived at their destination. The barrier outside the space had disappeared, and they landed near the manor’s entrance.
The manor’s gate had collapsed, and at least half of the buildings inside were in ruins, with debris everywhere.
“Who goes there?!” An old man’s voice came from behind the manor.
As his words fell, a powerful aura surged forth.
Though they couldn’t see him, the aura indicated that he was at the late stage of Prime Source Realm cultivation.
The hunchbacked old man stepped forward and met the aura with a palm strike. A loud noise followed as both he and the opposing figure were pushed back hundreds of meters.
In one move, they were evenly matched!
“Hmm?” The old man on the other side was slightly surprised and prepared to strike again.
“Are you Peter Clarke?” Jennifer asked as she looked at him.
“Hmm?!” The old man was taken aback again and then looked closely at Jennifer. “Do you know me? Who are you?”
“Do you recognize this?” Jennifer took out something resembling a token and flicked it over to him.
“The Shadow Decree of the Eldest Miss?!” Seeing the token, the old man’s pupils contracted. “Who are you? How do you have this token?”
“Look at this too!” The hunchbacked old man raised his hand and sent over another token.
“The Shadow Decree of the Young Master?!” The old man shouted again after looking at it. “Who are you really…”
“Peter Clarke, long time no see!” Jennifer interrupted him. “I am Jennifer Clarke, and he is Caleb Clarke!”
“Impossible!!!” Peter Clarke shouted. “The Eldest Miss and Young Master perished ten thousand years ago. How could you be them? And they didn’t look like you…”
“Don’t believe me?” As she spoke, Jennifer grabbed her token and dripped a drop of blood on it.
In an instant, the originally bronze token turned blood-red, emanating an ancient aura.
“You… you really are the Eldest Miss?!” Seeing the change in the token, Peter Clarke’s voice trembled.
He no longer doubted Jennifer’s identity!
If there was any chance the token could be fake, blood recognition couldn’t be forged!
Every core member of the Demonic Clan had a similar token that could be activated with their blood, proving their ownership.
“Greetings to the Eldest Miss and Young Master!” Peter Clarke knelt before them, his body trembling uncontrollably.
“Eldest Miss, Young Master, you’re alive! This is wonderful…”
“Rise!” Jennifer raised her hand. “Tell us about the current situation of the Demonic Clan!”
“Yes… yes…” Peter Clarke stood up and spent about half an hour describing the current state of the Demonic Clan.
The battle ten thousand years ago had taken a heavy toll on them!
Jennifer’s father, who was also the clan leader at that time, had long perished with his soul destroyed!
Not only him but also most members of the Demonic Clan Elder Pavilion had fallen. Only the Grand Elder and two other elders had survived by luck!
Two-thirds of their clan members were killed in that battle. If not for a master intervening later, none would have survived.
From that battle until now, ten thousand years had passed. Most of those who survived back then had died of old age; only a few like Peter Clarke remained alive.
However, over these years, their clan population had grown significantly compared to before.
“Where are the Grand Elder and others?” Jennifer asked after calming herself down a bit.
“They’re in the back mountain. I’ll take you there!” Peter Clarke said and led them into the air again.
Soon, they landed at the entrance of a massive valley behind the manor.
Billy and his group discovered that within this valley lay nearly a thousand uniquely designed buildings.
The place was filled with birdsong and floral scents, with smoke rising from chimneys and children’s laughter echoing occasionally.
It didn’t seem like a sealed place but rather a paradise!
“Ma’ma, do you really think unsealing this place is wise?” Judge couldn’t help but ask as he looked around.
