“Why not!”
Ivy shouted, her aura reaching its peak. With a flick of her wrist, a tangible sword force emerged from the vortex center.
A loud explosion followed, causing the void to collapse and reveal a massive black hole. Two figures were seen flying backward, each retreating several hundred meters.
To the Third Ghost King’s horror, just as he steadied himself to strike again, a sword force tore through the void towards him.
“Hmm?” The Third Ghost King frowned and raised his hand to block.
The sword light cut a deep wound on his arm, blood spurting out. He grunted and retreated again.
In the next moment, Ivy’s wrist continued to twist, filling the sky with sharp sword light and shadows.
“Sword domain!”
“Survive this strike, and you may live!” Ivy shouted again.
As her words fell, a powerful sword force tore through the void, creating a dark rift hundreds of meters long.
The Third Ghost King, trapped in Ivy’s sword domain, found it difficult to withstand the strike.
“Third Ghost King, you can’t take it! Dodge quickly!” shouted an elder from the opposing side, a fifth-rank Prime Source Realm expert. He raised his hand and launched a violent punch towards their battle circle.
“Get lost!” At the same time, Opal coldly snorted and sent a sword force slicing through.
After a loud explosion, both attacks shattered, sending each party flying back seven or eight hundred meters. It seemed like a draw on the surface.
As they flew back, Ivy’s sword had already slashed past the Third Ghost King.
To Ivy, anyone who wanted to harm Billy deserved to die. From the start, she never intended to spare his life.
The Third Ghost King opened his mouth but couldn’t utter a word before falling from mid-air, his face full of unwillingness. Before making his move, he never imagined he would die at Ivy’s hands.
“You killed him! Give me your life!” The fifth-rank Prime Source Realm expert roared angrily and charged at Ivy.
“If you want to die, so be it!” Opal’s voice rang out as a sword force flashed forward.
“Get lost!” The fifth-rank Prime Source Realm expert punched towards the sword light.
Both were sent flying back several hundred meters again, their faces slightly pale.
Opal steadied herself and immediately attacked again, tearing open more than ten rifts in the void.
The elder didn’t retreat either, forming violent seals with his hands and launching them forward.
The next moment, they were locked in fierce combat.
“Elder Louie, let’s join forces and kill her to avenge the Third Ghost King!” A green-robed elder pointed at Ivy and spoke to a gray-robed elderly beside him.
“Alright!” The gray-robed elderly nodded.
They both charged at Ivy, each being third-rank Prime Source Realm experts.
As they reached halfway, Harleen dashed out, sending a sharp sword force towards the green-robed elder.
“Get lost!” The green-robed elder dismissed Harleen and swept his palm forward. However, he soon realized he had severely underestimated Harleen’s strength.
The sword force tore through his palm strike and slashed across his waist, blood gushing out.
“Ugh…” The green-robed elder grunted and retreated several hundred meters, his face grim.
“Everyone attack together!” The gray-robed elderly frowned and called out to the others.
“Kill!” Except for Ezekiel Callahan, everyone else charged forward.
“Courting death!” Amber and Ivy shouted as they met the attack head-on.
“Sanaa, aren’t you going to act?” Rose asked Sanaa.
“No need,” Sanaa replied calmly. She then looked at Ezekiel Callahan. “Don’t blame me for not warning you. If you don’t stop them now, you’ll be going back alone.”
“Miss Sanaa, aren’t you overestimating them?” Ezekiel Callahan retorted.
“Just watch,” Sanaa shrugged. “But you’d better not intervene yourself, or you’ll die.”
She didn’t act because she had enough confidence in Harleen and the others. Their cultivation had advanced rapidly recently, making it perfect for them to use these nether clan members as practice to consolidate their skills.
“Rest assured, Miss Sanaa. I won’t intervene. If they are outmatched, they can only blame their bad luck,” Ezekiel Callahan responded. “However, I have one request. If my people capture them, please don’t intervene…”
Before he could finish speaking, Harleen’s sword force had already slashed across the gray-robed elderly’s neck. His head flew into the air with an incredulous expression.
“As long as you don’t intervene, I won’t either,” Sanaa replied indifferently.
“Damn it!” Ezekiel Callahan frowned at the headless body of the gray-robed elderly.
Before he could fully process it, another third-rank Prime Source Realm expert was beheaded by Amber’s sword, blood spraying like a fountain. Additionally, a second-rank Prime Source Realm fighting Ivy was pierced through the heart by her sword light and fell from mid-air in two pieces.
Ezekiel Callahan’s face turned ashen. He never expected Harleen and the others to possess such combat power.
“Great Ghost King, retreat!”
Ezekiel Callahan took a deep breath and called out to the fifth-rank Prime Source Realm elder battling Opal.
“Alright!” The Great Ghost King responded loudly. The more he fought Opal, the more alarmed he became. Despite Opal’s cultivation being several levels lower than his own, her combat power was on par with his. He even felt that Opal hadn’t used her full strength yet; otherwise, he might already be down. Such a formidable opponent made him lose confidence in continuing the fight.
With that said, he quickly retreated a thousand meters to the right.
“You think you can fight when you want and leave when you don’t? Is it that easy?” Opal coldly remarked and disappeared instantly.
“Hmm?!” The Great Ghost King sensed a crisis approaching and quickly formed a seal to block it.
The sword light easily tore through his seal and struck his defensive aura. He spat out a mouthful of blood and was sent flying a thousand meters back.
After knocking him away with one strike, Opal didn’t stop. She chased after him like a shadow. Her aura surged again as lightning wrapped around her sword from above.
“Die!” Opal shouted as she slashed downwards. Lightning tore through the void towards her opponent. This strike was far more powerful than her previous ones. The already injured Great Ghost King found it hard to withstand.
“How dare you!” Ezekiel Callahan shouted angrily from a distance as he rushed towards Opal. In his haste to save his comrade, he forgot Sanaa’s warning!
Just as he reached halfway, he felt an intense sense of death creeping up from his feet to his brain, making his scalp tingle!
He knew very well that Sanaa had made her move!
