“Hmm?” Second Ghost King sensed a crisis and his pupils contracted coldly.
Without thinking further, he turned around, gripping his thunder scythe, and slashed out a cold gleam.
After a deafening explosion, the black scythe shattered, and a figure was seen being blasted back a thousand meters-it was Second Ghost King.
Just as he steadied himself, Jennifer grabbed her cane and pursued him again.
The second strike hit Second Ghost King squarely in the chest. He spat out a mouthful of blood and floated away like a leaf.
“You… who are you…” he managed to say a few words before his head drooped, lifeless.
Seeing this, Blake Gill and the members of Mysterious Pill Sect gasped in disbelief. In such a short time, four of the eight Ghost Kings from the nether clan were dead or injured! It was terrifying!
“How about it? Any more helpers?” Billy landed on the ground, collected the storage rings of the four Ghost Kings, and looked at Blake Gill.
“You’ve got guts, killing nether clan members. You…” Blake Gill took a deep breath and began to speak.
“When you sent people to Silent Ruins Sky Realm, did you expect this day to come?” Billy interrupted him.
“My patience is limited. In three breaths, if you don’t hand over the formula and method for making the Mixing Essence Pill, Mysterious Pill Sect will be annihilated!”
As he spoke, a suffocating killing intent spread from him, causing many Mysterious Pill Sect disciples to involuntarily step back.
“I’ll remember this day!” Blake Gill exhaled heavily and took out an animal skin scroll from his storage ring, handing it to Billy.
He knew he had no other choice but to hand over the formula unless he wanted Mysterious Pill Sect to be wiped out.
“You’re always welcome!” Billy took the formula.
“But next time, if you fall into my hands again, you won’t have any bargaining chips left!”
He glanced at the formula and put it into his storage ring. He wasn’t worried about being deceived with a fake formula; he could tell its authenticity by trying to make it once. If it was fake, Blake Gill would know the consequences.
“If you want revenge, find me in Desert City! Farewell!” Billy and Jennifer then flew away.
“Sect Master, are we just letting them go?” a Mysterious Pill Sect elder asked Blake Gill.
“What else can we do?” Blake Gill replied with a grim face.
After a brief pause, he instructed, “Send a message to the nether clan, telling them he killed four Ghost Kings and is in Desert City!”
“Sect Master, what about Fifth Ghost King and Sixth Ghost King…” The elder pointed to two barely alive Ghost Kings nearby.
“Kill them!” Blake Gill responded.
“Understood!” The elder walked towards them.
“Blake Gill, you bastard! If you dare kill us…” one of them shouted.
Before he could finish, he turned into a blood mist after a burst of energy. The other met the same fate, vanishing without a trace.
After leaving Mysterious Pill Sect’s courtyard, Billy and Jennifer didn’t return directly to Desert City. Instead, they wandered around Herb City, purchasing a large batch of herbs needed for the Mixing Essence Pill.
Meanwhile, in Wilderness City, a grand palace hall far away…
Aarav Callahan, the nether clan leader, sat with an unpleasant expression. He had received the message from Mysterious Pill Sect-four Ghost Kings were dead.
Including those killed in Desert City, five Ghost Kings were lost!
The nether clan had been sealed for ten thousand years. This time they aimed for the seventh-tier star domain. But now, before they even started, they had lost five top fighters. His mood was understandable.
“Sect Master!” At that moment, a white-robed man entered quickly-it was Isai Callahan, one of the clan’s elders!
“Any progress?” Aarav Callahan asked him.
“We just received a message from the Vice Master; they’ve found where Demonic Clan is sealed!”
“Really?” Aarav Callahan’s eyes lit up.
The Demonic Clan was sealed around the same time as the nether clan ten thousand years ago. In terms of overall strength, Demonic Clan was even stronger than nether clan!
The nether clan sought Demonic Clan’s sealed location for one purpose: to find an ally.
To return to the seventh-tier star domain, they had to face Heaven Alliance. Alone, nether clan had no chance. With Demonic Clan, there might be hope!
“Is the seal loosening?” Aarav Callahan continued to ask.
A month ago, Heavens Sect and Starry Palace helped nether clan break their seal because it was already loosening. Otherwise, Heavens Sect couldn’t have broken it.
“According to the Vice Master, the seal is loosening but still difficult to break. They’re still trying,” Isai Callahan replied.
“Alright!” Aarav Callahan nodded. “Any news of Sanaa?”
“Not yet!” Isai Callahan shook his head. “She appeared a month ago but hasn’t been seen since.”
“Keep looking!” Aarav Callahan nodded slightly. “We must find her quickly!”
“Sect Master, are we really going to stand up for Heavens Sect?” Isai Callahan paused before continuing. “That woman is not simple. I mean…”
“Who said I’m looking for her to stand up for Heavens Sect?” Aarav Callahan interrupted him.
“Then why?” Isai Callahan asked after a brief pause.
“That woman is indeed not simple!” Aarav Callahan replied. “She likely comes from some force or family in the seventh-tier star domain!”
“You mean to align her and her backers with us?” Isai Callahan seemed to understand.
“If possible, that would be best, but it’s unlikely!” Aarav Callahan continued.
“She’s reportedly close to Billy. If we move against Billy, she won’t stand by idly. So let’s meet her first and gauge her intentions!”
“As for Billy, once we deal with Sanaa, without her help, he can’t cause much trouble!
“And reportedly, his four women are with Sanaa. Finding her means we can capture them too!”
“Understood!” Isai Callahan nodded.
“Alright then, get to it!” Aarav Callahan waved his hand. “Report immediately if there’s news!”
“If you really want to find her, I have an idea!” Isai Callahan thought for a moment before speaking.
“What idea?” Aarav Callahan asked.
“Heavens Sect’s Vice Master is skilled in divination; he should be able to locate her!” Isai Callahan replied.
“Oh?” Aarav Callahan’s eyes lit up. “Then summon him immediately!”
“Understood!” Isai Callahan took out a sound transmission stone and sent a message.
In less than fifteen minutes, an elder hurried in-it was Joel Morrow, Heavens Sect’s Vice Master!
He bowed upon approaching. “Joel Morrow greets the clan leader!”
“Can you find Sanaa?” Aarav Callahan asked directly.
“I can try!” Joel Morrow replied.
“Then begin!” Aarav Callahan ordered.
“Alright!” Joel Morrow nodded.
With that, he waved his hand and a large Five Elements and Eight Trigrams Diagram appeared in the hall’s center.
Soon, the Eight Trigrams Diagram began rotating slowly. Talismans floated around it faintly visible.
After a while, a shadowy figure appeared in the diagram’s center-it was Sanaa!
