“Mysterious Pill Sect’s city!” Jennifer responded.
“Aren’t you interested in elixirs? Go check out Mysterious Pill Sect, you might find something unexpected!”
“Ma’am, from what I understand, the nether clan has stationed at least four Ghost Kings in Herb City!” Trent Harmon interjected.
“They need Mysterious Pill Sect to continuously refine high-level elixirs for them, so the manpower there far exceeds that of Desert City!”
“That’s a minor issue!” Jennifer continued, looking at Billy. “What do you think? Interested?”
“Of course!” Billy replied with a faint smile.
He was naturally interested in this matter! He also knew that a confrontation with Mysterious Pill Sect was inevitable; it was just a matter of time.
Without further ado, Billy gave some instructions to Bradyn Harmon and Trent Harmon before heading to the teleportation channel with Jennifer.
Several hours later, the two appeared on the outskirts of Herb City.
As soon as they exited the teleportation channel, Billy was stunned by the sight before him. Unlike The Wilderness he had seen before, this area was covered in endless flowers and plants.
Several kilometers away, there was a city surrounded by flora!
Herb City, true to its name!
“Ma’am, are all these plants cultivated by Mysterious Pill Sect?” Billy asked.
“No,” Jennifer shook her head. “Mysterious Pill Sect only purchases medicinal herbs; these are grown by the citizens of Herb City!”
“Got it!” Billy nodded and then asked, “Ma’am, do you know of any elixirs that can enhance Source Realm cultivation?”
“Mixing Essence Pill!” Jennifer responded.
“Mixing Essence Pill?” Billy asked again.
“Yes,” Jennifer nodded. “Mixing Essence Pills come in low, medium, and high grades. The low-grade corresponds to Prime Source Realm cultivation and so on.”
“Are Mixing Essence Pills common?” Billy continued to ask.
Jennifer’s mouth twitched slightly.
“Even in the seventh-rank star domain, Mixing Essence Pills are extremely rare. Especially medium-grade ones, which are priceless. High-grade ones are even more so!”
“I understand!” Billy nodded. “Does Mysterious Pill Sect have the formula for low-grade Mixing Essence Pills?”
“Of course!” Jennifer replied.
“Great!” Billy’s eyes narrowed slightly.
As they spoke, they landed on an open space outside the main gate of Herb City.
“Ma’am, what’s the plan?” Billy asked as they entered the city.
“You want the formula for low-grade Mixing Essence Pills, right?” Jennifer responded. “Just go ask them for it directly!”
After saying that, she started walking forward. Billy followed after a slight twitch of his mouth.
Mysterious Pill Sect’s main courtyard was located in the center of Herb City, just two streets away from the City Lord’s Mansion.
“Stop! Who are you?” One of the four guards at the gate pointed at Billy and Jennifer.
“Go inform your sect master that Billy is here!” Jennifer responded.
“Billy who? Get lost and stop causing trouble!” The guard waved impatiently, clearly having never heard of him.
“Looks like your fame isn’t big enough!” Jennifer said to Billy.
“Didn’t you hear what I said?” The guard frowned. “This is not a place for idlers. If you don’t leave…”
Before he could finish his sentence, Billy struck out with his palm, sending all four guards flying and knocking them unconscious.
Billy didn’t kill them.
Then, the two walked leisurely into the courtyard.
“How dare you act recklessly at Mysterious Pill Sect! Get down!” An elder’s voice rang out as a wave of energy surged towards them.
Billy countered with a gust of wind, sending a figure flying several hundred meters away.
“Hmm?!” The elder steadied himself and frowned deeply. “Who are you?”
“Call your sect master out,” Billy said calmly.
At that moment, a large crowd gathered from different parts of the courtyard, numbering around a thousand people.
“Blake Gill, if you don’t come out now, I’ll destroy your Mysterious Pill Sect!” Jennifer shouted towards the depths of the courtyard.
“Ma’am, do you know their sect master?” Billy was surprised.
“I’ve heard of him,” Jennifer replied.
“You must be courting death to act so recklessly here!” A second-rank Prime Source Realm elder shouted. “Let me see what you’re made of!”
As he spoke, he punched out, sending a massive phantom fist towards them with a gust of wind.
“Get lost!” Jennifer flicked her wrist, and her cane sent out a wave of energy to meet the attack.
The elder spat out a mouthful of blood and was sent flying a thousand meters away, crashing to the ground with no strength left to fight.
Seeing this, gasps of shock echoed around them. Those who had intended to rush forward involuntarily stepped back.
A second-rank Prime Source Realm elder was defeated in one move; they would only be cannon fodder if they went up against them.
At that moment, several powerful auras filled the air as five or six men and women flew over from the backyard. Leading them was Blake Gill, the sect master of Mysterious Pill Sect.
Behind him were five of Mysterious Pill Sect’s top fighters.
Billy quickly assessed Blake Gill’s cultivation level; it was one level lower than Sovereign of Starry Palace Dominic Olsen’s.
“Greetings, sect master!” The crowd bowed simultaneously.
“Who are you two?” Blake Gill scanned Billy and Jennifer with a serious expression. He could sense Billy’s cultivation level but couldn’t detect any aura from Jennifer at all.
“Aren’t you very interested in the Nine Dragons Cauldron?” Jennifer pointed at Billy. “He brought it here for you. Aren’t you touched?”
“Hmm?” Blake Gill’s pupils contracted slightly. “You’re Billy?”
He had thought Billy looked familiar and finally recognized him.
“Congratulations on guessing right!” Billy shrugged.
“What brings you to my Mysterious Pill Sect?” Blake Gill continued. He naturally didn’t believe that Billy had come just to deliver the Nine Dragons Cauldron.
“I want the formula for low-grade Mixing Essence Pills,” Billy replied.
“Hmm?” Blake Gill’s pupils contracted again. “That’s quite a demand!”
“You can name your price. If it’s not too outrageous, I might consider it,” Billy said.
“And if I refuse?” Blake Gill asked.
“Then it depends on whether you value the formula or your sect more,” Billy responded.
“Are you threatening me?” Blake Gill’s eyes narrowed.
“Take it as you will,” Billy shrugged again.
“How arrogant!” Mysterious Pill Sect’s Vice Sect Master Logan Gill stepped forward. “I’ve heard you can challenge those above your level. Let’s see what you’ve got!”
“You’re too weak. You should all come at me together,” Billy replied.
“So arrogant!” Logan Gill flipped his wrist and drew an ancient sword from his storage ring, attacking Billy with a swift strike.
However, being only at second-rank Prime Source Realm, he was no match for Billy.
A blade light flashed, tearing through Logan Gill’s sword strike and slicing through his shoulder. An arm flew into the air as Logan Gill was sent flying a thousand meters away with an incredulous expression on his pale face.
“Hmm?!” Blake Gill and the other four were stunned simultaneously.
“So, are you all coming at me together?” Billy asked them.
“Are you sure you want to challenge all five of us alone?” One elder glanced at Jennifer as he spoke.
“Don’t look at me; I promise not to interfere!” Jennifer responded. “I always keep my word!”
