The combined strength of the two was clearly superior to Marshall Malone. After three rounds, despite his best efforts, Marshall Malone was continuously forced to retreat, sustaining injuries in the process.
The deaths of Wade Booker, Nina, Grover, and Asher left Jacob and Rudy terrified. They quickly retreated to the side of their leader, abandoning their fight against Marshall Malone.
Within the barrier, the fierce battle abruptly came to a strange halt.
Leo had intended to ambush Jacob and Rudy as well, but they fled too quickly.
Ripley and Marshall Malone leaped to Leo’s side.
Seeing their pale faces, Leo asked, “How are you?”
“Not bad,” Ripley wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, looking defiant. “If it were one-on-one, I wouldn’t necessarily lose to them.”
“I’m fine too,” Marshall Malone said gravely. “These guys are very strong.”
Leo said, “Go find Bonnie Hale for healing. Leave the remaining three to me.”
Marshall Malone and Ripley nodded and quickly retreated to Bonnie Hale at the rear.
They knew that with their serious injuries, they would only hinder Leo rather than help him.
Leo took two leisurely steps forward, looking at the Iron Guard elder with a smile. “Old man, how about it? I told you it takes strength to keep us here. It seems your bluff has been called.”
The elder snorted coldly, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes. “Boy, don’t get too cocky. You’re indeed strong, but that doesn’t mean you’ve won.”
“Oh, really?” Leo feigned surprise. “Are you going to fight personally? Be careful with those old bones.”
The elder gritted his teeth in anger. “You insolent boy! I, Falk, will teach you a lesson myself.”
Falk raised a luxurious golden staff and chanted, “Unleash, the great power of the stars.”
With a thunderous roar, the tip of the golden staff emitted dazzling starlight, carrying immense cosmic power toward Leo.
Leo didn’t dare be careless. He gracefully moved his hands in a circular motion, forming a massive Taiji illusion in front of him. It spun rapidly, emitting countless rays of golden light.
Instantly, the Taiji illusion acted like a black hole in the universe, generating an immense and inescapable pull.
Despite its struggle, the powerful starlight emitted by Falk was relentlessly drawn into the black hole and vanished without a trace.
Falk was shocked and quickly stopped his spell; otherwise, he wouldn’t last long before being completely drained.
Leo laughed heartily as the starlight disappeared. “What’s wrong, old man? Out of energy? Let me return it to you.”
The Taiji illusion suddenly reversed, and the absorbed starlight burst out like a terrifying star explosion toward Falk and his men.
Falk, unaware of Taiji’s mysteries, was horrified. He quickly waved his golden staff, forming seven layers of starlight shields in front of him.
Jacob and Rudy were even more terrified. Their shields had just been raised when the powerful starlight hit them like a tidal wave.
With a deafening roar, Jacob and Rudy’s shields shattered instantly. They screamed in agony as they were engulfed by the starlight and turned to ashes.
Falk didn’t fare much better. His starlight shields shattered layer by layer, forcing him to retreat step by step.
When only one layer of the starlight shield remained, he barely managed to hold on.
Falk’s face turned pale as he struggled to suppress the blood rising in his chest.
Leo laughed loudly. “Old man, now it’s just you left. It looks like we’re the ones who will be staying.”
Falk suppressed his rising blood. He realized that this Atrarian before him was the strongest enemy he had ever faced.
“Damn Atrarian boy,” Falk snarled. “Let me show you the power of the world’s strongest Stargazer!”
Falk raised his golden staff high and chanted a spell.
Stargazer?
Leo suddenly realized that the mysterious force that had previously blocked his search for treasure clues must have come from Falk.
As Falk finished chanting, the scene changed abruptly. Leo found himself in an endless universe.
Leo was momentarily stunned, unsure of what Falk was up to but feeling a looming sense of danger.
Meanwhile, Bonnie Hale had healed most of Marshall Malone and Ripley’s injuries. The three sensed the approaching danger and quickly joined Leo.
“How are your injuries now?” Leo asked.
“Almost healed,” Ripley replied.
Leo sighed in relief. “I might not be able to look after you later. Be careful and protect Bonnie Hale.”
“Understood,” Marshall Malone and Ripley said as they scanned their surroundings warily.
At that moment, Falk’s arrogant laughter echoed through the void. “Damn Atrarian, taste the power of cosmic origin.”
As he spoke, a star in the universe trembled and shot towards Leo and his companions like an arrow.
Thunder rumbled through the universe as the incoming star trailed a long comet tail, creating a spectacular sight!
This incredible scene made Leo and his companions widen their eyes in shock as they instinctively sensed imminent danger.
Leo roared and stepped forward, throwing a thunderous punch.
A surge of powerful energy rose like a tidal wave to meet the incoming star.
With an earth-shattering explosion, the star shattered into pieces. But Leo grunted and took a step back, his face pale.
Marshall Malone suddenly shouted in terror, “This is Darkwood Revelation, Europe’s most terrifying death spell!”
Darkwood Revelation?
What is that?
Leo wanted to ask but saw three more stars trembling in the universe before shooting towards them with dazzling light.
Knowing the danger, Leo roared again and channeled all his Spiritual Power to counterattack.
In rapid succession, three earth-shattering explosions erupted as Leo shattered the incoming stars once more.
The violent wind scorched his face as Leo took another step back.
Then seven stars roared from all directions towards them.
Leo steeled himself and attacked as fast as he could, unleashing four powerful strikes to intercept four of the incoming stars.
