“He’s already 35 and still single. There are only two possibilities,” Ivan began softly.
“What are they?” Jennifer asked.
Ivan analyzed, “Either he had a deeply emotional relationship that left him heartbroken and unable to move on, thinking no one compares to his ex, or he simply has no interest in women and prefers focusing on his career.”
“So, do you think he’s the former or the latter?” Jennifer asked curiously.
Ivan smiled, “We’re not very close, so it’s hard to say. But Lisa is indeed excellent; she’s a good match for him.”
“But relationships aren’t just about being a good match from an outsider’s perspective,” Jennifer sighed. “It’s all about fate.”
“Yes.”
She leaned closer to his cheek. “Spencer is getting married. The date is set. We probably won’t need to help much, but you can’t ignore it. You’re his brother.”
“I’ll be there to check it out. As his brother, I have to ask how things are going,” Ivan said. “Don’t worry, I’ll go right after I land.”
“A traditional wedding is unique and bound to be grand. When he said he wanted to marry the girl he loves the most in a proper ceremony, I was really moved. It showed he’s grown up and taken responsibility,” Jennifer said gently, feeling happy for Spencer and Summer.
“A good relationship helps both people grow,” Ivan believed his brother had found the right person. “Just like us, we didn’t need any adjustment because love made us want to make up for the lost years.”
He no longer worried about his brother’s love life.
Arkpool City, morning.
Tom Fritz woke up feeling quite depressed because in a few hours, his grandmother would bring home that unfamiliar woman.
It was a fact he couldn’t change.
He loved his grandmother dearly and couldn’t go against her wishes. Her heart wasn’t strong; he had to be careful with her.
After changing into his workout clothes, Tom Fritz went for a morning run as usual, but today it wasn’t in his own estate.
“Young master, are you heading out?” The butler at the gate looked at him as if faced with a dilemma. “Sir instructed that you shouldn’t leave today.”
“I’m just going for a run; I’ll be back soon,” Tom Fritz said lightly, pointing to his outfit. “Dressed like this, how far could I possibly go?”
The butler was troubled; he had orders to keep an eye on Tom and prevent him from sneaking out.
But now Tom wanted to go out.
Seeing the butler’s troubled expression, Tom understood and didn’t say much more. He handed over his phone. “I’ll be back soon. Without my phone or money, I can’t even buy breakfast.”
With that, he jogged off, needing some fresh air to relieve his heavy mood.
Otherwise, when his mother saw him later, she’d give him another warning.
The butler held the phone, frowning as he watched Tom’s retreating figure, caught in a dilemma.
Soon after, Tom Fritz’s phone received three short videos of kittens from Bubu in quick succession.
The butler stared at the lit-up screen, at the sunflower icon and the name Bubu. Was this a girl?
He didn’t know what the videos contained; they were just labeled as short videos.
The phone was locked; even if he knew the password, he wouldn’t look due to privacy concerns.
But it seemed like he’d discovered a big secret-did the young master have a girlfriend?
Who was this girl sending videos so early in the morning?
Everyone knew there were no women around Tom Fritz, which was why his family was so anxious about his marriage prospects. If there were any woman at all, they wouldn’t be this worried.
