Corey tilted his head to look at him with a gentle smile. “Yes, why?”
“Isn’t this the meet-the-parents session, my dear cousin?” Morphy mocked him.
“I can’t help it.” Corey shrugged his shoulders. “I have to complete the show.”
“To be honest, why did you even agree to her request?” Morphy stood up and walked over, sitting opposite him and looking at him with confusion.
In his eyes, his cousin and Xiaoxiao were extremely incompatible. One of them was indifferent while the other had a fiery temper. If they were to be together, their future days as a couple would indeed be extremely interesting.
“I have a tender heart.” Corey gave a simple response.

Hearing that, Corey busted out laughing. “Morphy, are you an idiot? Why would you think that I’d like that witch?”
Morphy leaned on the sofa and examined every inch of his expression with squinted eyes. “Cousin, just admit it if you do like her. Don’t be shy.”

Being uncomfortable from his stare, Corey threw the magazine on the table at his body as he complained angrily, “Morphy, stop staring at me with that disgusting expression and gaze. I am not some convict.”
Placing the magazine back onto the table, Morphy asked with a serious expression, “Do you really not like Xiaoxiao?”
“No,” Corey replied in certainty and determination.
“All right.” Morphy shrugged his shoulders and pursed his lips. “I’m probably overthinking it then.”
“You are indeed overthinking it.” Corey glanced at him with an angry glare.
Anyone who used their brain would know that he would never like that woman Ying Xiaoxiao. His ideal partner was a gentle, graceful, and elegant woman, like his sister-in-law.
He admitted that Ying Xiaoxiao was beautiful. However, her fiery beauty wasn’t his style, for his style was more of the comfortable and quiet beauty of his sister-in-law.
