EPILOGUE
FIVE YEARS LATER…..
*****RHODA’S POV*****
For five years, I’ve longed for this day, Having sleepless nights and daydreaming about this day and now, it’s finally here.
Today my mate Jayden would be returning from Abroad where he went to complete his studies.
I had stayed back home to care for my son and had to complete school in one of the universities in the pack.
The alpha and Luna wanted Ayden my son to be closer to them so I had to stay back home leaving Jayden to travel Abroad alone to study since I was pregnant and couldn’t go with him.
Even though he was far away, it doesn’t seem so because we communicate via our mind link all the time.
I sat on my dresser having my hair combed to perfection by the maids. Staying alone at our house became so boring since Rebecca found her mate and quit her job.
Instead of getting new maids and staying alone in the house with no close family to talk to, the Luna asked me to return to the packhouse so she would watch me closely and also be closer to their grandson whom I was pregnant with.
For five years, I’ve been living in the packhouse and getting so much love and care from the Alpha and Luna.
‘Mommy” a tiny voice squealed from outside pushing the door open and running into my embrace.
“My baby” I smiled and carried him on my laps, pinched his cheek while he giggled loudly.
“Are you happy you’ll be seeing Dada today?” I asked and his smile turned into a wide grin.
“Yes mommy, I can’t wait to see my Dada,” he said showing his incomplete teeth.
I smiled at him rubbing his head while he show me his tiny white teeth which were missing two front teeth. My son looks so much like his father and anytime I look at him, I can’t help but smile.
These past years have been tough without my mate by my side. I miss him so much that even though we talk all time, I sometimes cry myself to sleep.
“The door opened and Rose walked him with her daughter Mary who was older than Ayden by two months.
Ayden sighted her and got down from my laps running to her. “Mary my Dada is going to come back today and I will play my ball with him,” he said and she frowned.
“Are you saying you would stop playing with us when your Dada returns?” She asked deepening her frown and Ayden nodded smiling widely.
“Yes, my Dada said he would play football with me and you all suck at playing football but I can play other games with you,” he said and Mary nodded.
“Will you also tell your Dada to teach me how to play football? And will your Dada teach Robin, Roshan, and Jade too?” She asked referring to Jada’s twins and Jordan’s son.
“Yes my Dada is so nice and would teach all of you except me because I can play better than you all,” Ayden said making us laugh.
“Baby where are you now, Ayden can’t wait to see you and he’s bragging to Mary that he could play football better than you” I spoke to Jayden through our mind link.
“Oh, Really? Can my little man really do that?” He asked and I chuckled.
“Of course, he could, don’t underestimate the strength of my son,” I said and he laughed.
“Okay, we shall see about that when I return and we’ll know how he would win over a man who scored the goal that made him,” he said naughtily making me grin. Jayden would never change from being naughty.
“But how am I sure it’s about Ayden or you who can’t wait to see me and probably get me to score another goal? please do not eat me raw when I get back” he said with a playful pleading voice and I could swear he’s smirking right now.
“You wish, just tell me you so badly want to eat me raw yourself” I retorted and he chuckled.
I guess we both want to eat up ourselves badly then” he muttered and I couldn’t stop my face from turning red.
“Mommy are you talking to Daddy?” my four years old boy asked already eating a candy he picked from the table.
“Yeah, baby but how do you know I’m talking to your Dada,” I asked staring at him.
“Because whenever you talk to Dada, your cheeks are always red and Robin told me it happens to his mother too whenever she talks to his Dada,” he said shocking me.
“You mean Robin said all that to you?” Rose asked him and he nodded.
“This kid won’t stop amazing me with their smartness,” I say and Rose also shook her nod in agreement.
“By the way baby you are correct, I’m speaking to your Dada” I replied and he pouted his lips.
“But mommy I also want to speak to my Dada,” he said pouting. “You’ll not only speak to Dada, but you will also hug and touch him soon alright?” I said and he nodded happily and continued playing with Mary.
“We’ll soon be landing alright so you both should hang in there and I’ll join you in a short while,” Jayden said.
“Ok then, I can’t wait,” I said happily. We barely a phone call each other except when we want to see each other’s faces then we video call which we do almost all the time and Ayden gets to see his father on the screen.
“We are done ma’am,” the maid handling my hair said and the one making my face up put a finishing touch before dropping her brush.
“You look so beautiful as always” Rose complemented came closer to my ear.
“Be sure to get pregnant tonight, we need baby 2” she whispered and I slapped her lightly on the arm.
“Why haven’t you given us baby 2 or don’t you want that?” I whispered back to her and she quickly shook her head.
“You have sense, you want others to give you baby2 but you don’t want to give yourself baby 2,” I said and she chuckled.
“I’m okay with Mary but you’re definitely not okay with Ayden and you know you are just getting to see your mate after 5 years so who knows if you would give us twins this time around Just like Jada,” she said making me laugh.
“Nice, good job” I muttered as I look in the mirror. I don’t even need any stylist when the maids in this house all do a good job in handling my face and hair.
I stood up and handed Ayden over to a maid then started walking down the stairs with Rose trotting beside me carrying her daughter.
The Alpha and Luna were already sitting in the sitting room with all dressed with smiles on their faces.
Our friends are also there. Luca and Amber who has grown a little fleshy with their newborn baby, Mudy and Jada with their 3 years old twins who are so dramatic and also causing trouble just like their father.
Jordan and Jake were also around. Jordan with his 3 years old son and Jake with his pregnant mate.
My parents are also around in all smiles as we all wait for my mate to arrive.
The house has been neatly cleaned and arranged properly including our house became we would be returning there together when he returns.
His parents just wanted to host him in theirs and celebrate his return then we would stay for a few weeks till his handover.
Yes, my mate would be taking over the affairs of the pack and I’ll officially become his Luna and gladly rule my pack.
This is a dream come true and I can no longer wait to be wrapped around his arms and plaster his face with lots of kisses.
I hug my parents and friends one after the other as we greet. I’m so excited and would no longer be taunted by their lovey-dovey especially Jada and Muddy’s which always reminds me of my mate.
“Are you done looking glamorous for me baby?” Jayden asked from our mind link and I grinned widely.
“You thought as much, everyone has arrived and we all are waiting for you,” I said and he chuckled.
I have really missed home and every single day I stay here, I had always wanted to run back home but you know I had to combine both my studies my businesses” he said and I sighed.
I feel the same way too, even though we talk all the time, it is still not the same as physically seeing each other and you know, I have also missed making crazy love with him.
“Will it still take long until your jet lands?” I asked and he chuckled.
“What? I cannot wait” I yelled out and laughter erupted. The whole family’s watching me mumble to myself and they could understand I was talking to my mate.
I smile as Rose mouthed “calm down” to me.
“Come on let’s all go outside, I feel we should wait for him there,” The alpha said and we all stood up and were about to go outside when the door opened widely and a figure entered.
“The figure!!!! I’m out of breath” I muttered frozen for a second. “You shouldn’t be baby, I’m right here flesh and blood and I know you wanna eat me but at least wait till we get in” he announced loudly making me chuckle and hit his arm lightly before jumping onto him for a sweet embrace.
“Oh, sweet world! How I miss this scent” I mumbled as his lips crashed on mine sucking the blood daylight out of me.
Umh, umh!! Some people are here who also missed you, you know, and do we just feel forgotten?” The Luna yelled out making us disengage from the kiss that was about taking the whole day.
“Mum” Jayden called as she engulfed herself in his tight embrace.
“My boy has all grown into a man,” she said and we all laughed.
Truth be told, he really has grown into a handsome Greek god that I think I’ll be needing extra help to fight off horny females henceforth.
Ayden who had been tugging on his Dada’s pants finally got his attention as he got swopped high by his father, his giggles filled the air.
The rest of the family all got their own hugs and buddy pats from our latest returnee and we all headed to the garden for a little celebration.
During the celebration, we’d gotten a letter from the Cell which came from Lisa.
It was a letter of apology. She had written that she was obsessed and her obsession got the better part of her and she had apologized for all the wrongs she did and wished we all forgave her.
She said the prison has not been treating her fair enough and she had learnt so many things and had also turned a new leaf through the help of a friend she met while in there.
I had forgiven her a long time ago and I’m happy she repented and genuinely asked for forgiveness after 5 years and I would also love to meet the friend that turned her into a new leaf.
Hopefully, she’ll be out in six months and I know she will be happy with the surprise Jayden and I have for her.
“Okay the party is over, it’s time for the other party” Jayden whispered into my ears giving it a soft lick.
My heart raced as I could feel my temperature rising. “What do you mean, the party has just got started” I try to wade him off.
“Well they could continue without us” he uttered and swopped me up in a bridal form and began walking up the stairs to our room.
I could hear my family’s giggle and Rose’s yell of baby two.
I am so blessed and couldn’t thank the moon goddess enough for bringing this man to me and a quick confession, I had always enjoyed his bullies somehow even though I had wanted him to stop at that time, I knew I couldn’t stand him stopping.
We got to our room and he dropped me on the bed, got onto me and his lips found mine.
“I love you now and forever Rhoda and tonight, I would mark you over and over” he muttered in-between the kiss and my heart raced with happiness.
“I love you too Mate” I screamed out in ecstasy as his d’ck plunged into me sweetly.
