LISA’S POV
I sat in my car watching Jayden and Rhoda come out of his plaza with lots of bags which I believe was for her.
I am supposed to be the one enjoying all his wealth and not that slimy b*tch who wants to reap where she did not sow but soon, I’ll show her that she can’t appear from nowhere to snatch what belongs to me.
I stare at the white bugatti till it vanished from my sight. “Take me home” I said to my driver. “But ma’am you were supposed to shop here” he replied annoying me.
“Are you out of your mind? I said take me out of here you idiot” I shrieked.
“Yes ma’am, I’m on it” he muttered and quickly reversed and drove off.
I got out of the car when we got home and slammed the door hard then stomped into the house.
“What the hell?” I screamed as my body got drenched in water. I looked up to see one of the maid standing before me shivering while holding an empty glass.
“What just happened” I screamed and smelled my hands to see it reeks of juice.
“I’m sorry ma’am, I didn’t mean to pour the drink on you just that you came in unexpectedly” she said and my anger rose.
“Kpak!!”, I landed a thunderous slap on her cheek and she winced and held her cheek.
“How dare you pour juice on me? Do you perhaps know how expensive this dress you ruined is? Can you and your useless family afford this dress” I yelled and slapped her again.
“I’m sorry ma’am” she muttered still holding her cheek.
I stared at her disgustingly and pushed her off before walking up the stairs. I got to the end of the stairs, stopped and looked down to still see the maid standing there still holding her cheek.
“Hey, I called and she looked up with her tear stained face making me scoff. ” you are fired and I don’t want to see your miserable face anywhere close to this compound” I muttered coldly and walked into my room ignoring her cries and plead.
I got to my room and sat on my bed throwing my bag against the wall. I pressed the maid button beside my bed and soon a maid appeared at my door knocking.
“Get out of there and go get me a cup of chilled Apple juice and listen, freshly squeezed and do not take more than two minutes” I yelled and I could hear her scurrying off.
I’m so angry at myself and everybody and things surrounding me, I would never rest till Jayden becomes mine and if I can’t have him, no one else will. I’m make sure I fight Rhoda till she leaves Jayden.
It’s either she leaves him peacefully or she leaves him dead, either way she would still leave him because I am not going to allow them be together, not when I’m alive.
“Knock knock* I heard from my door and assumed the maid was back with the juice already.
” come in” I uttered and she walked in carrying the apple juice. She kept on the table beside me and tried to walk out but I stopped her after picking up the drink.
“Will you come back here” I screamed and she turned, fear written all over her.
“What’s this you brought here” I asked and she swallowed and pointed at the juice.
“ma’am the apple juice you asked for” she said and I arched my brows.
“I told you to get me a chilled apple juice and you brought this watery stuff for me? Is not even chilled are you for real?” I screamed and poured the juice at her.
“Take this out of here asap and get me what I asked for or better still get another maid who understands simple English to do the job” I yelled and she bowed and tried to leave.
“Are you dump? Take this glass out of here you idiot” I said and she turned and picked the glass cup then scurried out of the room hastily.
I picked my phone and dialled Luca’s number, it rang for a while before he picked it at the third ring.
“Hello who’s this” he asked making me roll my eyes at his question.
“This is Lisa Luca, don’t ask me where I got your number from because I wouldn’t tell” I said and could her his gruff at the other end.
“What do you want Lisa” he muttered irritatedly immediately I called out my name.
I smiled a little and tucked back my loosened hair.
“All I want is your co-operation Luca, I saw Rhoda and Jayden outside his plaza minutes ago and they were all acting lovey dovey, do you think you can be able to get her back on your own” I asked and he keot quiet.
I sigh and continued after he refused to talk, I believe what I’m saying is having effect in him and I just need to add more so he would succumb and plan out with me.
In order to bring Rhoda down, I need to use someone that’s so close to her to execute the plans since I can’t do that myself because that Rose of a girl is too smart and always stick like a glue to Rhoda.
Luca is the perfect weapon for me to use because he’s currently heartbroken and if I could manipulate him, he would fall for my plans and help execute everything so easily because he’s closed to her.
He only needs to act as though he wasn’t pained and had moved on from the heartbreak and penetrate Rhoda without that Rose finding out and boom everything will be over with her out of my way.
“Look Lisa, I love Rhoda very well and I know whatever your plans are, it would not be a good idea because you hate her and who knows what your planning” he said bringing me out of my reverie.
“No Luca, I have no bad intentions, I just want us to work and in hand and separate them, you could have what belongs to you and I, what belongs to me. We aren’t going to harm anybody but just take back what was once ours” I said very sure I hit a point on his head because he started asking me what I planned on and if it wouldn’t backfire.
I smiled and told him a little out of my plans and requested we meet somewhere tomorrow after school to discuss the rest which he agreed to and I ended the call.
“Pheeew!!! That wasn’t so hard hahaha” I laughed and dropped my phone and just then my door opened and another maid walked in with the apple juice.
“Don’t you know how to knock on people’s door” I glared and she bowed immediately.
“I’m sorry Miss Lisa, I did knocked on the door but I heard no response so I thought you weren’t in, I’m sorry” she apologized and I scoffed.
“So that is also the reason you took so much time in bringing in the juce I requested a very long time ago, how dare you” I snapped and she bowed.
“I’m sorry miss Lisa, I made it as soon as the other maid told me about it, please pardon me” she said and I scoffed. That other maid must be stupid, she’s lucky I’m now in a good mood if not, I would have gotten her fired. What nonsense.
“Drop it and get lost” I yelled and she quickly dropped the juice on the time then left the room in a hurry.
Stupid and incompetent set of maids. The only thing they know how to do is eat, lazy around and get paid for it. I do not know the reason my mum still left them here and pay them such huge amount of money when there’s nothing they do around here. Stupid people.
LUCA’S POV
I dropped the call and sighed. If Lisa could make me get back Rhoda then I’ll gladly work with her. Ever since Jayden became Rhoda’s mate, I knew it would come to this.
Jayden had been chasing her for a very long time and refused to give up then, what happens to now that she became his mate.
I accepted it and didn’t do anything when she moved in with him because she’d promised to frustrate him into rejecting her but it seems he ended up making her fall for him and I would never accept such thing.
She belongs to me and I must get her back despite what. I had called Rose last night and she told me to forget about Rhoda and my mate would come for me but I rebuked her, I do not wish to have any other woman in my life except Rhoda.
I grew up with her and I’ve grown attached that I wonder how she forgot everything so easily.
FLASHBACK…
9 years old me stood with my Mum at the former pack house where we once lived together with most of the pack members.
My father was taking over the duties of the alpha as grandfather just died and my father needed to take over.
Rhoda’s father happened to be my father’s Beta and he returned with his wife and Rhoda to take over as the new beta. The 8 years old Rhoda came to me crying.
‘What’s wrong with you, why are you crying? I asked and she continued crying ignoring my question.
I tried to touch her but she pushed my hands away and took a step backward. “Don’t touch me because I don’t like you and your father” she whimpered crying me.
I raised my brows surprised at her and wondered why she would hate me when she doesn’t even know me and hasn’t met me before.
“Why did you say that, do you know me?” I asked her and she nodded sniffing.
“My mother told me that your father was the reason why we came back here so I don’t like you” she cried out hitting my arm.
“But how is my father the reason for your return? Your father is the Beta and has to come back to be handed over the duties of a Beta so he has to” I replied and she rolled her eyes.
“I don’t care, your father made us return and now, I’ve lost all my friends and doesn’t have any friend now, nobody to play with me and it’s all because of your father ” she cried loudly and I sighed.
“Don’t worry, consider me as your new friend and I’ll play with you from now on, I will also teach you so many things and we will go on bicycle race every evening okay” I said and she quickly wiped her face and smiled widely.
“Really you will play with me and be my friend?” She asked and I nodded happily.
“Come let’s go and get ice cream together because we are now friends” I said and she squealed and took my hands, her once teary face was now replaced with a happy one.

And ever since then, we’ve been inseparable. Our friendship grew into relationship when we entered senior high and now Jayden came from nowhere and thinks he could snatch her away from me, that would never happen not when I’m alive.
I don’t care about her been his mate, I don’t care about anything and I think the moon goddess actually cheated and gave her to Jayden instead of me.
I stood up from the bed and walked into the bathroom to take my bath, after that I dressed up and climbed down the stairs to see my parents seated in the living room and watching the news.
“Son I hope you are not still thinking about that girl, I told you to stay away from her earlier that she isn’t meant for you but you never listened to me, now she has found her mate and left you yet you still don’t want to forget her” my Mum scolded and I ignored her and left the house to wanting to listen to her advice. All I just want is Rhoda and nobody else.
