****RHODA’S POV*****
I stare at the car dumbfoundedly as it zoom pass me with speed till I could no longer sight it.
I can’t believe jaydan could leave me here when he knew it’s drizzling and would soon get heavy.
What do I even expect from a guy that clearly doesn’t like me but want what’s inside my panties.
Damn that Jayden of a boy, why would he even ask me to apologise to him when I didn’t tell him to look for me, I wasn’t lost anyway and if he wasn’t stupid, he would have known that we are mates and I cannot be in danger without him knowing.
“What just happened now” Reign asked. “Duh you saw it yourself so don’t question me for I’m not in the mood to talk” I raged looking around for any broad leaf or anything that could cover my hair.
I finally found one after searching for a while, I carefully covered my hair and started running towards the house as the rain has started falling heavily.
“Enjoying the rain” I heard Jayden’s voice inside my head. I guess he activated the mind link and the idiot didn’t care to inform me. Barging into my privacy, how annoying could he be.
I Ignored him and pretended as though I didn’t just heard his voice.
“I know you are hearing me pumpkin so quit the pretense and answer my question, how are you enjoying the sweet rain?” He continued ranting and I kept ignoring him.
My body is drenched and even the leave I was using, the breeze took it away making me have nothing to cover my body.
Thank goodness my big brother bought a water resistant phone for me on my birthday so I don’t have to worry about the rain damaging my phone.
I only have to worry about cold getting to me and making me sick. My skin is quite sensitive and cold easily penetrate into me.
Shivering, I looked up and sighted the house gate, speeding up, I ran into the compound and stopped when I heard the idiot started laughing hard in my head.
I looked up to see him standing by the window, laughing his stupid ass off. I glared at him and walked into the house.
“Oh my child! Why did you refuse to follow your mate home” the Luna asked checking out my body.
I see, that’s what he told y’all, ma’am Jayden dropped me halfway and zoomed off knowing fully well it was drizzling but he insisted I apologise for what I knew nothing about, when I refused, he chased me out of his car” I muttered shivering
My body has started vibrating and I need a very hot bath to regulate my temperature.
“He did all that?” Jayden!! Jayden!!! She called out but on hearing no response, she tried to go upstairs but I stopped her.
Ma’am we can do this later, I would love to go take a hot bath to regulate my chilly temperature. I’m literally freezing” I said.
“Ok my dear the maids would help you out” she said making me shook my head vehemently.
“No ma’am I can handle myself I don’t need any maids to help me take my bath” I said irritatingly.
“You should stop calling me ma’am my daughter, you would soon be my daughter in-law so you should start addressing me as mother” she stated and not wanting to spend more time there, I hastily nodded and ran up the stairs.
My hair gummed to my face and my clothes clunged tightly to my skin threatening to spill them off. The tiny hairs on my body all stood up as my body shivered.
I got to our room and flunged the door wide open to see the idiot laying on the bed laughing his ass off.
“What an ego, simple apology that you could have given to get a ride, you decided to prove stubborn and even talk rashly and know, I hope you enjoyed the sweet rain” he laughed.
I ignored him and walked straight to the bathroom, closed the door and made sure it was properly locked then removed my soaked clothes.
There was already a smokey water in the tub which I believed Jayden fixed. I breathe in and entered the water to wash off the chilliness brought to me by the rain.
I got out of the tub, wrapped the towel tightly around my body, I had forgotten to bring my cloth as I was rushing in. Jayden is in the room and I wouldn’t want him feasting his stupid eyes on my body.
I waited for a while to know if he would leave the room so I could go dress up and just as if he knew why I was wasting time in the bathroom, he started whistling loudly and it was as though he was standing by the bathroom door.
Mate what are you still doing there, are you perhaps giving birth in there?” He mocked chuckling.
I rolled my eyes, gathered courage and opened the door which pushed him down as it seemed he pinned his ears to the door. I stifled a laugh as he fell to the floor and used the opportunity to rush into the walk in closet and shut the door. Phew! That was a narrow escape.
I don’t want him to start feasting his eyes on my body or even advance closer to me.
JAYDEN’S POV
Ouch! My butt hurts, damn that girl and I was getting ready to feast on her magnificent body only for her to push me down and run out. Well it’s all good when I’ll do mine, let her not complain because I’ll definitely do mine.
Ouch, I think I broke my ass bone, I muttered as I try to stand up. I finally did, rubbing my butt and slowly walked back to the bed and laid down.
She came out of the closet fully dressed “where are you going to?” I asked scrutinizing her. She look really pretty on the blue gown she’s putting on, she applied a mild make up and look really pretty.
“And why should where I’m going be any of your business?” She snapped glaring at me.
“Why shouldn’t it be my business, you are my mate and I’m accountable to anything that happens to you, you saw how my parents chased me out to go look for you earlier so you better tell me where you are going else you go nowhere” I emphasised.
“Oh really? Then stop me because I didn’t beg you to look for me and I didn’t in anyway tell you I was lost or needed people to search for me like I’m do kinda kid” she shrieked and tried opening the door but I rushed and locked the door to prevent her from leaving the house.
The truth is she dressed so beautifully and who knows if she was going to see that Luca of a boy which I do not want. How can she be dressing this beautifully if she wasn’t going out with him when I’m his mate.
“Why the hell did you locked the door, have you lost your senses? Do you not realize I was about heading out and you are locking the door” she yelled furiously.
“Well dear mate, you ain’t leaving this place without telling me where you are heading to, I can’t be your mate and you don’t give accounts of your whereabouts what if you are going to see that your silly boyfriend?”
“Whoever and wherever I’m going is none of your business Jayden, open this door right now” she raged making me chuckle. Even at her angry state, she still look so pretty just like angels.
I ignored her rants and walked to the bed, laid down and pretended to be sleepy, “sorry to disappoint you dear wife but I’m never letting you go out with him” I say through our mind link and she fumed and started hitting my legs.
“That feels good mate, your hands are so soft” I say giggling and she quickly took her hands away.
“You are so annoying Jayden, I wasn’t going to see Luca, I’m only going to get some things in the mall” she said obviously tired of proving stubborn.
“Well too late, I’m no longer interested in where you are going all I know is you go nowhere, tell one of the maid to get you whatever you want and it will be delivered to you asap, you don’t need to go to the mall yourself mate so go remove your clothes and get into the bed.
“Your breakfast will also be served here if you are hungry” I said and smiled internally at her expression.
That is the price you pay for pushing me down, we both we stay in this room till evening, you will go nowhere with that boy.
Jayden I don’t understand, are you serious right now? That I should go change my clothes and come over to the bed, why is that?
“Because it took you long to answer a simple question, if you had told me where you were going when I asked, I would have allowed you a long time ago but you decided to prove your stubbornness, so go change your clothes if you insist on getting those things yourself, then I’ll have to go with you but that would be in the evening” I concluded and shut my eyes ignoring the death glares she threw at me continuously.
“You are so impossible Jayden, sso annoying and so mean” she yelled and stomped into the closet.
“Call me whatever but that doesn’t change the fact that you are mine and I own you, you won’t disobey me and won’t see other men aside me” I yelled after her and smiled to myself. Let’s see how you would go out with him.
RHODA’S POV
I stomped into the closet and threw my handbag to the floor as hard as I could, pull out my shoes and also threw them away.
“Aaahhh!!!!!” I screamed at the top of my voice pulling down some of the shoes at the rack.
How wicked can this Jayden be, locking me up with him when I’m supposed to be at the mall getting stuffs that I needed and I also planned a girls out with Rose now all that wouldn’t be happening and I bet Rose would be there by now waiting up for me.
Aaaahhhhh!!!! Damn you Jayden, I so which to squeeze your neck till you suffocate.
How can you be this mean and wicked all because you are jealous of Luca. What sort of a man is this.
I pull out my clothes and decided to text Rose instead of calling her, I’m not in a good mood and I might end up screaming at her as though she’s the cause.
“I walked to the place I threw my bag and brought out my phone, luckily it didn’t scratch else I’ll be more mad at everybody.
“Can’t make it, Jayden locked the door saying I wasn’t allowed to leave because I refused telling him where I was going and when I finally did, he said he lost interest already and not ready to hear, I’m sorry Rose maybe we could do this next weekend” I typed and hit the sent button then tossed the phone on the dresser.
I pull out a black leggings and a white crop top, put them on and picked my phone then walked out of the closet.
I got into the room and climbed my side of the bed. My phone beeped and I opened it to see Rose’s message. “It’s fine, hope you are good” it read. I smiled and typed my reply then sent it dropping back my phone.
I look at Jayden who was already asleep looking as innocent as a dove with a calm face yet when awake, he’s as mean as a rat.
I try to dip my hands into his pocket to retrieve the key but he knocked my hands off and turned to the other side facing the wall.
Such a bully even in his sleeps. I gave up and closed my eyes trying to force myself to sleep.
