Today’s the seventh day and I should be home by now but I had to accompany Jayden to his business party as I had already promised that.
He had bought me a red dress saying it’s the code of the day. I took my bath and dressed in the red dazzling red long gown which was designed with tiny diamond stones.
It fitted perfectly on my skin bringing out my shape
It has a V-cut which showed a little of my boob and the body was tight till it got to my hips then widened to my legs. The back of the dress was open and has a strip which crossed the back.
I wore a silver-stoned heel and matched it with a diamond plated silver purse. I brush my hair to fall back my back and applied a little makeup then walked out of the room ready after spraying a little perfume.
Jayden was already seated at the living room, his eyes fixed on his phone when I got there.
He raised his head when he felt my presence and his eyes instantly widened as he stare at me from head to toe.
“Wow!! You look breathtaking milady” he smiled when he was done checking me out.
“Thanks, you look good too” I muttered but seriously he look more than good maybe a demi-god fits his status.
He wore a dark suit with white inner shirt and a red tie and damn he look really good on suit. His hair was brushed back bringing out his perfect face.
“Shall we” he stretched out his hands and I took them after a while of hesitating. Well it’s just for tonight.
The driver opened the door of his white limo and we got in. “Are you comfortable?” He asked and I nodded.
The is my first time of going to a business party and I feel a little nervous. He took my hands which I noticed was shaking and I guess he also noticed it.
It’s okay, I’m here and you don’t have to nervous, we will just step in there to show my presence and we will leave as soon as possible” he assured and I nodded taking breathing to calm myself.
The car pulled over at the venue which was filled with paparazzi. They all rushed towards us when they noticed it was Jayden.
“It’s the heir to the great Wayne’s cooperation and the Alpha in line of the powerful Darkmoon pack” one of them yelled dragging the attention of others who also came rushing crowding us.
“Jayden stepped out of the car and held out his hands for me. Immediately I step out, various light from various angles flashed at my face almost blinding me for a moment.
Geez, I look down immediately avoiding the flashes which I find disturbing. The news will be all over the internet tomorrow and I wouldn’t want any misunderstanding between Luca and I.
“Who’s the lady beside you Alpha, is she your mate?” They all kept asking as the guards kept shoving them off and we finally got into the event hall after having a hard time shoving those news casters off.
I held tightly to Jayden hand as he kept rubbing soothing circles on my palms which helped in calming my nervousness.
Someone came and took us to a VIP table, wines and fruits were brought and soon the table filled with various dishes.
“Stay here for a while let me go and have a word with our business associates, please stay put and don’t go anywhere, I’ll be back soon” he said and left.
I looked around the room which was filled to the brim with beautiful ladys and handsome men in colorful outfit.
The room decor screamed wealth and I’m sure the organizer of the party is a multi millionaire.
I filled half of my cup with a wine, I wasn’t a fan of alcohol so I’ll just tap a little to avoid embarrassing myself here.
I’m not quite comfortable being here because who knows if my dad was also invited or even our Alpha. I’ll be a bigger mess if I get seen on the news so I’ll have to plead with Jayden to not allow my pictures be out in the media.
“Hey beautiful” I heard a voice and raised my head to see a young guy sitting on the seat Jayden got up from sipping from his cup.
“Hi” I said simply and looked away from him, I don’t talk much to strangers” I said to him when he kept on trying to gain my attention.
“I’m not a stranger, My name is Jack and I’m the only son of Alpha Douglas of silver moon pack” he introduced and I nodded not interested in whoever he was.
He seemed to be a pompous person, bragging about his pack. Well after Darkmoon’s pack, silver moon pack comes second in strength and I’ve once heard from my father that the two packs were once and bear the name “Night wolves” they also had two Alphas who were twins until misunderstanding came between them making them split with the one becoming Darkmoon and the other silver moon.
So maybe Jayden and this guy are related no wonder he is also proud. Same blood runs in them.
“Ok I’m Rhoda from Moonstone pack” I introduced myself not wanting to ignore him.
“Really? Then I must be lucky to behold such a beauty, you are such an angel” he praised and I nearly rolled my eyes but had to control it.
“What the hell are you doing there sitting on my seat and talking to my woman” a thundering voice echoed round the room silencing everywhere.
I looked up to see Jayden’s fuming eyes which were already changing from green to red in fury.
“Oh, dear cousin, she’s your woman? But I saw no one seated beside her so I have to keep her company never knew she came with a scumbag, oh I’m disappointed” The Jack guy taunted and Smirked.
“You are out of your mind Jack and never you step an inch close to her again in your miserable life” he shrieked and I could see he was fighting hard to keep a calm face despite being furious.
“Let’s go Rhoda” he pulled my hands and we left the event, he kept on taking huge steps thereby hurting my wrist as I was practically running to catch up with his long strides.
“What’s wrong with you, why would you tell him I’m your woman when I’m not and why the hell are you mad, we were just talking not like you saw us doing something bad” I yelled immediately we got into the car.
“Why shouldn’t I get mad when you are opening your teeth and laughing with him when you barely know him and you should be happy I called you my woman, don’t let that get into your skulls” he said getting me more angry.
“Haha, why would I wish to be your woman when I clearly do not like you” I let out a cranky laugh and stared deep into his soul “you are so ungrateful Jayden” I poked his chest and threw my face away from him.
“Like I care” he scoffed
We got to the house and I stomped out of the car headed into my room and slammed the door shut.
Such an annoying guy, I should have rejected him at first.
I peeled out the clothes and walked into the bathroom to shower.
