RHODA’S POV
After the little drama with Lisa, I went back to the class and was glad to see Jayden already in. I stomped towards him, bent on my head on his desk and looked straight to his eyes.
“Are you responsible for the news moving all round school?” I shrieked my voice raised, anger boiling deep in my soul.
“What news?” he corked his lips, showing his trademark smirk.
“Don’t play with me right now Jayden, was that why you made me ride to school with you so you could pull up this stunt? What do you intend to achieve with this, it wouldn’t even make me look at you twice and you should better wipe it off now” I ordered taking huge air into my lungs.
“Tch! What made you think I did that?” he arched his brows looking into my eyes, his green orbs stare intimidatingly at me.
“Why won’t you? You are trying so hard to get into my panties and there’s definitely nothing you won’t do to achieve that.
Moreover, there’s clearly no one at school when that fight happened so how come it’s all over the school group and flying around every corner of the school?” I raged, my blood blowing hot.
“Ask yourself that since you said there’s no one in school when it happened then who recorded it? Spirits? Or perhaps it might be you, who knows if you are also trying to be mine, you can just say that and stop moving around the corners”
“Anyway be ready and prepare you are going HOME with me today and I’ll be coming to pick you up by 5pm” he said emphasizing on the “Home”
“And why would I want to go home with you?” I ask irritatingly.
“I’ve decided on the what I want from you and it’s for you to be my maid for 7days, you will serve me both at home and in school and you wouldn’t dare refuse that if you want your Luca alive” he finished, making every air in me dry.
“That’s not possible Jayden” I yelled attracting the class as they began to assemble.
“You have no choice and your work starts now” he said and threw a face towel at me which landed on my bossom, the smell filling my nostrils and I unconsciously inhaled it forgetting my situation for a minute. It smells so fvcking good just like a vanilla flavoured candy.
“Wash that now and make sure it’s clean and dried before dismissal” he ordered coldly and walked out of the class after looking me up.
The class erupted in various kind of noises immediately he left. Most students started begging me to let them wash the towel while others wipe their imaginary tears. “Bunch of dramatic people” Reign scoffed, I just turned backand left to my seat.
“What’s going on Rhoda, why do you have his towel? I don’t understand what you’ve been up to today” she muttered curiously pinning her eyes on me.
I took a deep breath and explained everything that happened starting from the fight at the parking lot till now and when I was done, she hugged me.
“Why does he want you to be his maid? To humiliate you? Or probably bully you the more. Why can’t Jayden change from his ways.
Today he’s kind and friendly saving you from dangers, tomorrow he’s all mean and bossy, hurting you and trying so hard to get you, when he knows you are already taken yet he’s so stubborn lurking around you like some hungry dog ready to devour at any slightest chance.
Honestly I don’t know why he hated me so much and now, I can’t refuse his request because I literally told him to ask of anything and now, not thinking before vomiting out words has landed me into a terrible mess.
“How do I even tell my mother that I was going to become a maid for the alpha in line of Darkmoon’s park for seven days when she’s gotten to know he bullies, she would definitely freak out.
Not like she would stop me from going but she would stay awake all night thinking and I don’t want such for her.
Rose noticed my worry and held my hands, slowly massaging it “just tell her my parents travelled and I asked you to come stay with me for a week till they get back, I would also call to let her know” she said coming to my rescue.
“Awwww Rose, you are such a sweet soul, I wonder what I would have done without you by my side” I said wiping the tears that gathered on my eyes.
It’s nothing and I know you would do same for me if am to be in your shoes also, I just wonder what Jayden tends to achieve from what he’s doing and you really need to be extra careful in that house” she advised.
Let me go wash his towel before he gets back here, this is the price I had to pay for saving Luca’s live and whatever it is he does, I would never allow him touch me no matter what.
I’ll go handle this” I said to Rose who nodded in response, I stood up and left the classroom to the restroom where I began to wash the towel.
I finish washing the towel but where I would spread it without it getting stained became another issue. Why else would he give me a sparkling white towel to wash if not wickedness.
I began roaming around the school looking for a place to spread it without it getting stained or stolen because if any student sees a customized towel bearing Jayden’s name been spread outside under no watch, they wouldn’t hesitate to take it. Afterall, he’s their idol.
I finally find somewhere clean I could spread it few metres away from the class and the good thing it’s I could watch over it from my seat.
School finally came to an end and I sluggishly follow behind Rose’s back.
We decided that she follows me to my house and tell my Mum about staying for a while with her and also to help me pack up little luggage for the week.
“Good afternoon Mom” we both greeted my mother on our arrival. She was sitting on the double seat couch sipping a fruit juice, her eyes focused on the kdrama she was watching.
My mother loves kdramas alot especially teen lovers series, she doesn’t joke with it. I’ve always asked her why she enjoys and kept watching young teenegers lovey dovey movie and she replied saying it reminds her of her teenage stage.
My mother always bragged about having the best teenage love life with my father, she would say her and my father started off as playmates and blossomed into lovers, fortunately got mated, married and live happily with the children they made out of love so whenever she sees teens in genuine love, she’s always reminded of her sweet old memorable days where she would play hide and seek games with father in the wood which she brags of always winning Dad.
She replied to our greetings not sparing us more than a glance as she focused back on her movie.
Rose and I climb up the stairs to my room, where I opened the door and we walked in.
“How am I going to tell her when she’s very much focused on the TV?” Rose asked and sat on my bed.
“I don’t know but we don’t have enough time, according to Jayden, he would be coming by 5pm to pick me up and this is some minutes past 3pm, I still need to arrange the things I need” I replied tiredly.
On a normal day, I would have been long asleep and deeply engrossed in my dreams, but here am I packing my bags ready to go become a maid for the whole week.
“Ahahh!! got it, Let’s go downstairs, I know of how to get her attention” I squeal and got down the bed, dragged Rose out of the bed where she was already laying.
We went down to the sitting room where my mother was still engrossed in her movie.
“Mom there’s something we need to tell you about” I say but she waved me to keep mute. This is the one thing I really hate whenever my mother began watching kdrama. She would never allow , anyone talk to her.
Mom it’s really important and you need to listen now, it can’t wait just Incase you are planning to say that” I say and stood at her presence distracting her.
“Will you get out of the way and say whatever thing you want to say, I hear with my ear not my eyes” she shrieked and I immediately stepped out.
I signaled Rose to speak and after hesitating for a while, she finally spoke and my Mom quickly gave me permission without blinking and focused back on the TV. Geez! Kdrama won’t be the end of this woman.
She didn’t even allow Rose to finish before cutting her off and told me to go park my things and follow her immediately.
We got back to my room, I let Rose pack my bag and went to the bathroom to take my bath.
