It’s evening, my mother had gone to visit one of her friends, Mudy had finally returned to school and my dad went for a business trip.
I was bored at home, I kinda missed Mudy’s presence at home. Laying on my bed and bored. I had been sleeping ever since I returned and now, I’m tired of sleeping.
I got down from my bed, straightened my hair and applied my lipgloss, I stepped out of my room, went out of the house to stroll a bit.
I walked down the street, people were moving to and fro, the road is busy as it was already mid-evening.
I sighted a dessert shop down the street and decided to go have a cup of ice cream there.
Walking into the shop, I ordered a cup of strawberry-vanilla flavoured ice cream and burger. I sat close to a window where I would be able to see the views of outside.
I plugged in my headset enjoying my ice creams and burger while nodding to the music booming in my ears.
I was still engrossed and oblivious of another presence that had occupied the empty seat before me peering into my face.
I stretched to pick the burger I had kept on the plate but it wasn’t there anymore, I took my headset off and looked around but it was no where around me.
Then I heard a chuckle just above me and hastily, I raised my head to beheld Jayden, sitting on the empty chair opposite me and chewing from my burger.
Ugh!!! My burger” I whimpered seeing it disappearing into his mouth. Arghhh!!! I cried in frustration. That burger was so delicious and I had just taken two bites now he had eaten it all.
I started wailing while watching my food moving in his mouth. “What the hell!!! Why are you wailing he whispered looking around the restraunt as eyes were already on us.
“Ahhhh!!!! Ahhh!!! My burger I continued crying and then I looked into my ice cream cup to see it was also finished.
“How could you do this to me Jayden? How dare you come here to finish my food” I screamed at him not caring about the eyes on me.
“What? it’s just burger and ice cream you don’t have to make a fuse about it Rhoda” he said but I Ignored him and increased my cry.
“OMG!!! He exclaimed when an elderly woman came to our table and held his ear.
How could you make a beautiful girl like this sunflower cry and then sit there gaping at her without doing nothing” the woman yelled at him twisting his ears.
“What!!! I did nothing to her ma’am” he exclaimed in pain but the woman wouldn’t listen to him.
“That’s a lie you came here and ate all my food. Who told you to eat my food, did I invite you here?” I shrieked throwing the empty ice cream cup at him.
“Oh my poor child” he woman consoled me and gave Jayden a heavy knock on the head which me stiffle a laugh that ended up coming out as a chuckle.
“Ahhhh Rhoda tell her to leave me alone, I would get you as much ice cream as you want” he pleaded his ear already red.
“Quick go get her another one you silly child” the woman finally released him and he ran out going to get another one for me.
The laugh I was trying hard to hold bursted out making me almost roll over. His expression was so hilarious.
Didn’t know the almighty Jayden would ever run like this hahahahah. The woman smiled at me and patted my hair. I thanked her for coming to my aid and she nodded going back to her seat.
Jayden returned with three cups of ice cream and three burgers, dropped them on my table while glaring at me.
I grinned at his red ear then opened the ice cream and started enjoying myself ignoring his glares.
He could glare at me for all I care afterall, who sent him to eat my food or even come here in the first place.
*****JAYDEN’S POV*******
I can’t believe she teamed up with that woman to do this to me. Why would a grown up like her be crying in public just because I ate her ice cream. I mean who does that.
I’m sure she planned that so the woman would do that to me. Sunflower indeed look at her head.
I grumbled glaring at the girl in front of me who was busy eating her ice cream and burger ignoring my glares.
I was only driving by when I saw someone who looked like her through the window of a dessert restraunt so I decided to check out if it was her.
On entering the restraunt, I sat down on her seat and when I noticed she was engrossed in the music she was listening, I took her burger and took a bite, It was so yummy and I decided to eat it since she was not interested in it and her ice cream was melting away.
I wanted to get her annoyed but the table ended up turning around over me. I looked at her face to see her smirking. She stood up and packed her remaining ice cream and went out of the restaurant.
What!!! I stood up and rushed after her, I finally caught up with her and held her arms preventing her from going any further.
“Leave me alone” she yelped making me flinch. “What! Are you trying to attract onlookers again?” I asked leaving her arms. I felt powerless in this street unlike in the school.
She might likely term me a thief who wanted to steal from her. Not like I won’t be able to fight my way out but damn I wouldn’t want to be called such because news flew faster and my father would get to hear it.
That would be an Insult to his personality and the entire Darkmoon pack, their soon to be alpha, a thief who tried to steal from a girl. I wouldn’t want such tragedy to befall me so I quickly left her hands.
