RHODA’S POV
After a while of turning around the bed, unable to sleep. I gently rose from the bed and went out of the room into the dark woods where I shifted and ran going deeper into the woods.
I soon got to the place where the river he was located. I stopped and shifted back.
Sitting before the river under the moonlight enjoying the waves of the water and the quietness of the night.
I dippped my legs into the river as my body calmed. The water was so chilly but I enjoyed the feeling against my skin.
I was still sitting by the river side when I felt a presence behind.
I swiftly turned back and sighed when I saw it was Jayden.
“Arrghh!!! Way to go Rhoda, he’s here to spoil my mood now.
Pulling my legs out of the water, I tried standing but he held me down.
“You don’t have to leave because of me, I won’t bother you” he said and I scoffed.
“It’s nothing, I was just about leaving when you came so I would leave now, it’s pretty late” I said and he nodded.
Taking a step forward, I heard his voice and stopped.
“Why don’t you want to see me Rhoda? “Why are you so stubborn? He asked and I turned.
“That isn’t going to happen Jayden” I have a boyfriend whom I’ve been with for 9 years and I hope he becomes my mate so you shouldn’t suffer yourself chasing me. I said and shifted picked up my pyjamas and ran out of the woods.
I reached the field and looked around for any presence and when I saw none, I shifted back and wore my clothes before entering the room.

**THE NEXT MORNING**
The bell rang and I stirred and woke up rubbing sleep off my eyes.
“Rose wake up let’s go bath” I tapped her and she stirred but turned towards the wall. “Rose wake up!! I continued tapping her but she refused waking.
Rose is a very deep sleeper, anytime we had girls sleepover, I would have to shake her continuously or even use a trick to wake her.
“Rose wake up Max is here” I yelled in her ear and she immediately spranged up.
“Ugh!!! I’m I cute? Do I have drowl on my face? Is my eyes swollen?” She asked too many questions shaking me and I laughed uncontrollably.
“This has been Rose’s usual behavior anytime you tell her Max was coming.
“Hahahahah it’s a joke Rose, Max is not coming” I said laughing and she hit my arm playfully.
“You weren’t waking so I decided to trick you”
“Arrghh!!!! That’s not fair she rasped and I laughed.
“Get up let’s go bath, the waking bell has been rung”
I had already brought out our toiletries before coming to wake her.
I glanced at Lisa’s bed and she laid there her both legs spread apart as she snores with her mouth slightly opened. Lisa is a one beautiful lady I must confess.
Rose finally got up and we both left the room going to bath.
When we came back, Lisa was still laying there.
“Should I wake her up Rose” I asked and she shook her head. “No Leave her alone, if she wants let her sleep the whole day. We shouldn’t care about that.
I wore a black leggings and white top while Rose wore a black knee length armless gown. We both left the room going to join the others who were already gathered at the field.
“Good morning students!!! Miss Brenda greeted and we all replied happily.
“I hope y’all had a wonderful night rest she asked.
“Yes Miss Brenda!!!! We replied.
Luca came along side Max as they stood beside us.
“Hey babe!!!!!” He snaked his arms on my waste and pecked my hands. “How was your night?” He asked.
“Twas good and yours? I asked and he smiled “great”.
I glanced as Rose and saw Max showering kisses all over her face as she giggled.
“Ok students we would all pray and head to the dinning then after that, we would commence today’s tasks” Miss Brenda said.
A prayer was lead by Robinson our class captain. After that, we all walked to the place set as a dinning hall to eat.
I sat down beside Luca as we eat “I haven’t been seeing the J3 in the here does it mean they don’t eat?” I whispered to Rose.
“The do eat but there good are served to them in their tent. You saw their tent was different”, Everything they get is always different from what the students gets” Rose said and I nodded.
Soon, we finished breakfast and went back to the field. We waited a little for Miss Brenda. I felt eyes peering at me from a distance and I traced it to Jayden. I raised my brows at him and he smirked.
“Ok everyone!! I can see you all are back from the dinning and I hope you all are ready for today’s task Miss Brenda voiced out and we screamed yes happily.
Today’s task is for everybody and you all are going to climb up that mountain she said and pointed at a mountain which I had no idea it was there.
“There is a mantle at the top of the mountain and anyone who gets it first wins and the reward will be announced before we all go back”.
“You can all go how and bring back the mantle” she said and most students ran out.
I don’t need to run because I know I don’t have the strength to climb a mountain.
Rose and I walked to the mountain discussing and laughing.
I looked up to see Luca a the middle of the mountain leading the task.
A hand snaked to my waist and I turned back ready to lash out at the owner and I sighed on seeing it was Jayden.
I squat his hands off me and he smirked and bent sniffing my neck. “You smell so good Rhoda I feel like eating you up” he mumbled and I moved away from him.
“Rose let’s go” I said and we left.
We got to the mountain roof and I gasped when I saw Jayden already at the top of the mountain holding the mantle.
“What the hell!! Rose shrieked and my eyes also widened. “Wasn’t he the one who was standing here few minutes ago? How come he had already reached the mountain top within a few minutes”
“Wow!!! Did you see that? He was standing there minutes ago talking with Rhoda and now, he already reached the mountain top!!!” This is an amazingly crazy climbing skills!!!!” Miss Brenda yelled through the microphone.
I never knew she was watching us while we stood there.
