The Blood Moon Pack has been allied with the Crescent Pack for about two to three years now. Although the Crescent Pack, Alpha Aiden and Alpha Bryan’s Pack ranks way higher than the Blood Moon Pack.
The Crescent Pack was the most feared pack, especially with them having the firstborn Twin Alphas in centuries.
Alpha Lucien was twenty-four years old. Older than the Alpha twins with a year. He was also a powerful Alpha, tall, muscular, broad shoulders and had green eyes.
He smiled as he walked in, seeing his Alpha twin ally that he hadn’t seen for like a year now, “Good to see you both again.”
Bryan and Aiden got up and they shook hands.
“The feeling is mutual,” Bryan said, with a short chuckle.
They were not sure if Alpha Lucien was considered a friend to them, but he was an ally. Were they close? Maybe or perhaps not.
“Please, have a seat”, Aiden gestured to the seat in front of Lucien, “Would you like something to drink?”
“Of course”, Lucien nodded, taking a seat.
“I will get the drink and glasses,” Bryan said and went over to the table where the decanter and some glasses were.
He poured the drinks in three glasses, took two with him, gave one to Lucien and one to Aiden, while he went back and got the remaining one for himself, before taking a seat.
They had taken their seats at the meeting table, away from Bryan’s and Aiden’s desk, and decided to toast.
“A toast to many more years of alliance!”, Aiden exclaimed, raising his glass.
“A toast to many more years of alliance!”, Bryan and Lucien echoed.
Then all three clinked their glasses and took a sip.
As Lucien took his sip, he closed his eyes and a gentle, soft smile played on his lips, “I know this one, mmm”, Lucien hummed in satisfaction as Bryan and Aiden chuckled softly at his reaction.
Aiden still had his glass in his hand, while Bryan dropped his on his desk.
“Macallan 1994 Sherry Oak,” Lucien said, his eyes still closed and the soft smile still playing on his lips, “Single Malt Scotch whiskey from the renowned Macallan distillery in Scotland, specifically located in Craigellachie.”
Then he opened his eyes, “I will always give it to you both for the remarkable drinks you always have”, Lucien commended Bryan and Aiden.
“And we will give it to you too. You know your drinks,” Aiden said and lifted his glass in a silent salute, angling it towards Lucien.
“Okay then…”, Bryan began, “Let’s get down to business.”
They started the discussion concerning the rogues, signed some documents, went into other important discussions and finally after like about two hours they were done and had come to an agreement.
Alpha Lucien left right afterward after they acknowledged each other’s work and now Alpha Aiden and Alpha Bryan, were gathering some documents and putting them back where they ought to be.
It was already evening, everywhere was getting darker now. The meeting took longer than expected but was definitely worth it.
“So, what are the things you mentioned earlier?”, Bryan asked his brother, “Saying we had things to do.”
“Of course, curious cat”, Aiden teased Bryan, getting an eye roll from Bryan, “But I will tell you, because it is indispensable. It is about Kira.”
This caught Bryan’s attention, and he put a hold on what he was doing, “What about her?”
“We need to announce we have found our mate and Luna. And remember we were going to talk to her about the bonding ritual and mating completely before her heat came, but did not get the chance, and now I am not sure if we will anytime soon.”
Bryan pondered, “There is no way she will accept to complete the Bonding ritual with us, talk more of the mating.”
“Exactly,” Aiden said, “And we need to, we finally found her.”
“The mating can wait, she might even give in herself, especially because of her heat. Who knows?”, Bryan thought, “And for the Bonding ritual, if we can do it without her, then we will, which means, we will have to force the bond to be completed even without her.”
Aiden thought about what his brother said and agreed, “That sounds like a great solution. But what about the ceremony? Introducing the Luna?, Pack’s celebration and so on.”
“Well Kira is already marked by us, and we can’t do the bonding ritual in front of everyone since we will be doing it without her. So we will just find a solution for the bonding ritual after everything is done, then we will call for a celebration and introduce their Luna, our mate, to them.”
“I see why you’re the Calculative one among us, good thinking”, Aiden complimented Bryan.
Bryan made a disgusted face, but he was smiling when he told Aiden, “Shut up!”
When they were done with everything they needed to do for the day at the office, they left and while they headed to the dining room, as a maid had informed them that dinner was served, they still talked about the bonding ritual.
“I know how we can do it without her”, Aiden brought up.
“Enlighten me,” Bryan said to him as they got closer to the dining room but stopped at some point to finish their conversation before reaching there.
“I just have a way, but we will need Kira’s blood for it to work. Normally for the bonding ritual we join our bloody palms together after cutting our palms with a knife right?, saying some words and sealing it up. So we will need her blood for this.”
“Okay, but this is different. She is not good to be present”, Bryan uttered.
“Exactly why we require her blood, are you even listening to me?”, Aiden asked, taken aback, he felt like squeezing his brother.
Bryan laughed softly, “I am, I am. But are you sure you can do this Aiden? Are you?”, Bryan asked him slowly, giving him suspicious looks.
“Don’t give me those looks Bryan, I am sure”, Aiden declared confidently.
“Tsk tsk tsk”, Bryan chuckled and shrugged, “Alright then, your way it is.”
Aiden shot him dead eyes immediately, “So what’s the chuckle for then? You think I am incapable?”
It took everything in Bryan not to laugh or even crack a smile as he said, “Me? Think that? Why would I?”
