Chapter 47

Book:Alpha Arthur, She is mine Published:2024-10-27

Elara;
My heart races faster as my eyes study this strange place and strange faces. Who are these men, and this old lady surrounding me? Why are there lots of naked ladies walking around?
What is going on? And why do these men keep referring to me as Elara? Who is Elara? Why am I here? My eyes run through my skin, and I notice how light I’ve become. My hands were longer, my skin thicker, my dress sense was looking different. My body was in a black bodycon dress that looked like a rag. It has holes that look like they were created from being dragged by an object.
I wasn’t a fan of dirty clothes, so how was it possible that I had rags on? This dress looked soaked with crimson, and condemned. Who is this Elara, and why was I in this dress? Why do they keep addressing me by Elara?
My thoughts come back to reality. My nostrils!…. I’m breathing. Yeah!…. I’m breathing again. I thought I had stopped breathing. I’m alive. But how is it possible that I’m still alive and I survived that accident? Did the Moon Goddess spare my life? I think she did. She has given me an opportunity to make things right. I have fixed everything back in its rightful place.
First, I need to return home, and inform my parents about David. They need to know his true color and call off the wedding.
He’s just after my parent’s wealth and doesn’t love me. Everyone needs to know how evil David is. My parents need to find out about his plan to kill them and take over the family company after our wedding night. I have to let them know he’s not the perfect son-in-law that they think he is.
David has a mistress, and he has plans to bring her home when he has taken over my family’s business.
I have to inform them. My parents deserve to know the truth. David’s family is facing bankruptcy and they want to use the marriage as a means of elevation. How did I act so stupid, and trust a man I’ve never spent quality time with?
Why did I believe every word that came out from his lying lips? Just why?
With my thoughts hitting my head, and my heart grateful for having a second chance to live. I sprint up from my position to make my way out of the strange place, when I feel arms wrap around my body. Stopping me from leaving.
“Elara, where are you heading to? You can’t leave. Hey baby, just calm down. Everything will be alright,” one of the men held me tightly in his arms, stroking my hair.
Who is this person, and why is he touching my body this way? I try to free myself from him, but he hugs me tightly. I was very uncomfortable. This was the closest I’ve ever been with a man, and I don’t know why he’s holding me inappropriately.
With his strength, I know he is an Alpha Wolf. His scent is very strong, and there is a high possibility he’s an Alpha King. But I don’t care about what or who he is, I just want him to let go of me. I need to get back home to my parents.
I struggled so much in his arms, but he wasn’t giving up. He kept addressing me by the name, Elara, and this was becoming irritating.
I gulp, and Huff. At this point, I think I need to be calm, and try to explain things to him. Maybe he will understand my urgency and let me go. “Can you please let go of me? I promise not to run away,” I calmly utter.
He hesitated for a bit, and finally freed me.
I stood in front of him, staring right at his face, “I don’t know what is going on, or what this place is. But the fact is, I’m not who you think I am. The strange name you keep mentioning is not my name. I’m not her. My name is Nova.”
My fingers dig through my hair as I watch how everyone of the men gazes at me in confusion. I think I need to explain things further, maybe they will understand. I clear my throat inwardly, and turn in the direction of the other man, whom I persevere to also be an Alpha King.
With the way he was looking at me, I think he was the best person I could speak to. I grab his hand, forcing a smile on my face, “Alpha…..” My lips part, my head slightly arcs to the side, waiting for him to mention his name.
He keeps mute for a while, before responding to me. “Blade. Alpha Blade,” he utters, and I nod my head.
“Alpha Blade, please I have to return to my parents. They need to know that I’m alive. I know they will be searching for me right now,” my hands clasp in disparate pleadings. “I have to return. I need to,” I pleaded with him.
I noticed how his eyes widened with shock, and he turned toward the strange old lady, who stood, smiling. “What is going on with Elara? Why is she sounding crazy?”
“Crazyyyyyy?” pointing at myself, “Did you just call me crazy?” My fingers dig through my hair in frustration as I huff. Seems this one is a very rude one. Calling someone you don’t even know, “crazy.”
“Well, I don’t actually mean that you are crazy, Elara…”
“For the one hundred and a million times, I’m not Elara. My name is Nova. N-O-V-A!… Nova! That’s my name. I don’t know who Elara is, and I hate being addressed as her,” I commented, but noticed how they awkwardly stared at me.
It’s evident that the more I speak, the more they get confused. But I was the one who was made to be confused. I had an accident and woke up in the mix of these strangers who kept referring to me as someone else. I don’t even know if I have a slight resemblance to Elara, or whatever she is.
I’m done trying to speak to them about me. They can believe whatever they choose to. Where is the way out of here? I thought to myself. My eyes scanned through and finally spotted a pathway. With a whiff of relief, I try to make my way out through the pathway, but stop dead in my tracks when my eyes meet a reflection in a standing mirror.
I take a step backward to get a confirmation of what I’d just seen, and yeah, my eyes are not deceiving me. The reflection in the mirror I had just seen was not me. It was me but not me. I mean…. The face, skin, and body, were not mine. It looked very different from me.
What was going on? Why do I look different from me? Did the Moon Goddess change my identity to someone else? No ohh!… it can’t be.
My hands travel through every part of this strange body, and I touch the boobs. Instantly, I whiffed in excitement. They were big. Bigger than what I used to have, and yeah…. I love it.
I’ve been praying for big round boobs, and now it’s present in this body. I think this is my newfound body, and this body belongs to the lady called Elara. Now, I understand why these men kept staring at me in a strange way.
But what happened to my real body? And what happened to Elara? Did the Moon Goddess swap our souls in our bodies? Why would she even do that? Anyway, I will focus on this when I leave here.
Firstly, I need to return to my pack, The Blue Moon Pack, and inform my parents about David and his family. Then I can now find out what happened to my body, and how I got into that accident the same day I found out the truth about David.
Speaking of which, what day is this? I need to know if I’m forward or backward. I stroll toward Alpha Blade, my cheeks running from ear to ear as I stop right in front of him. I need to smile and act nice to be able to get the information that I need from him.
Clearing my throat into my fists, I arranged my hair at the back of my ears in a cute way. “Alpha Blade,” I softly called out his name, and he raised a brow. Yeah! I know he is shocked and he thinks I’m crazy, but I will prove to them all that I’m not. “Alpha Blade, can I know what day it is today?”
“Hmmm!?” His forehead furrows as he gapes at me.
Nodding my head, “Yeah!… I mean what day is today?”
“It’s the 31st of July.”
“Ok… what year?”
He paused for a bit, stared at the faces of the others before sending his gaze back to me. “It’s the year 2024. We are in the 21st century.”
“Oh. Alright, thanks.”
I softly breathe hard. So if we are in the year 2024, 31st, July? That will be three months after my accident. What is going on? I need to leave this place and find things out for myself. This can’t be happening. Did I die? Is my body already buried? I can’t get my answers here, I need to rush back home.
Just when I make an attempt to rush out, I feel a hard hit on my neck, and I gasp hard. Everything became blank.
