How did my worst fear just happen before me? This is why I refused my parents to come to the home of Alpha Arthur, after they kept requesting. And right now, they have messed things up. Something I have sacrificed so much to have.
Why did my parents just ruin it all in the blink of an eye? What do I say to Alpha Arthur after they leave? And with how his fist is clenched by his side, I can only wonder what he will do to me.
I’m yet to figure out what to do about the information that my parents have already given to Alpha Arthur, when my father, who does not know how to read his environment, continues with his words. “I want to use this medium to apologize to you, Alpha, on behalf of Elara. I know she is still on the run after committing the grave offense before you, and I’m yet to locate her. Even her fiance is searching for her, but nothing positive.”
“Fiance!? What, fiance?” Alpha Arthur asks, and I can hear the shock in his voice.
Before my marriage to Alpha Arthur, and a few days after my birthday, I heard the news of Alpha Arthur searching for Elara. My greatest belief was that there was a grave sin she committed, so Alpha Arthur wanted to take her life. The sin nobody knows of to this day.
If I knew the reason he wanted to capture Elara was because of his desire for her, I wouldn’t have given out her location. However, I’m grateful that I used it to my advantage, but I’m also in regret because Alpha Arthur can not take his mind off Elara.
Even when Alpha Arthur finally made me his Luna, because of my stupid step-sister, he refused to make love to me, and this gets me every time. How will I be able to carry out my next plan of having his heir, so I will know that my stay in this mansion is permanent, when he keeps resisting me?
I’ve had many thoughts and plans about ways to make him lay with me, and I’m ready to start working on my next plan. Which is, drugging him and having my way. But look at things right now, my parents have just ruined a lot of my hard work and I doubt where I can start in fixing this mess.
The conversation between Alpha Arthur and my parents continues as they keep feeding him with more information. Information that he never asked them about, which makes my face twist in rage, and my Wolf roars at the top of her lungs in my head.
After a few more hours, they wrap up their conversation, and Alpha Arthur orders me to see my parents off. I force a smile on my face as I walk my parents to the exit of the mansion, and halt my feet in between.
“Is Elara that important to you two that you can’t get her off your lips, even in the presence of Alpha Arthur?” Tears prick the corner of my eyes.
“What’s going on, my girl?” My mother hold my cheeks with her palms, her eyes running through my face, “Did we do anything wrong?” She questions in a very concerned tone.
Shaking my head, “No, mother, nothing happened. I’m fine. I will come to visit soon, you two just take good care of yourselves,” giving them a warm embrace and returning to Alpha Arthur’s office.
I didn’t respond to my mother’s questions because of the presence of my father. He dares not find out about what I did to Elara to get this position, or he will take it out on me, piece by piece.
My father is unaware that my mother and I hate Elara so much, because we act differently with her in front of him. I sometimes wonder why he expects us to like her when she is the reason he addresses my mother and me as a second choice.
Elara’s dead mother is the first wife of my father, and I heard the reason he got married to my mother was because Elara’s mother couldn’t convince a pup. My mother gave birth to me two years before the birth of Elara, which makes me older than her by just 2.
I’m 22 and Elara is 20.
My father treated my mother and me without any respect, always bringing us second. It was after the death of Elara’s mother that things changed for the better, but he still expects us to treat her like a princess.
Returning to Alpha Arthur’s office, he immediately storms toward me, grasping my arm, his face etched with anger.
“Why did you lie to me?” He roars, shaking me hard, and a sudden fear consumes every part of my body.
“Alpha, I didn’t…….”
“Shut the fuck up or I will slit your throat right this minute,” his gaze burning with wrath, “As of today, I reject you as my Luna, and I never want to see you again,” his pronouncement makes me fall to my kneels before him, and I hold onto his leg.
“Alpha, please you can’t send me away,” tears gush down my cheeks.
I need to do whatever it takes to survive this. I can’t return to my life, not after I had bragged to everyone about my position. I’m never going back to my gutter life.
“Alpha, can you please pardon the Luna? You can see how sorry she is,” his Beta speaks up, and a little smile spreads on my lips.
I know his beta will speak up for my sake because, with the way he couldn’t take his eyes off me, I can tell he desires me.
“Please, Alpha,” his Beta utters once again.
Alpha Arthur snatches his leg away from my hold, “I don’t want her as my Luna, Loki. She lied to me about a lot of things, and whatever we shared, ends here,” he announces and storms off.
I fall to the ground, weeping, so his Beta can come pick me up. Something Alpha Arthur doesn’t know is the fact that when I want something or have a taste of something that I don’t want to let go of, I become a virus without a cure.
He can never send me away.
I feel his Beta’s hands on my arms, and they raise me up from the floor. I immediately rush into his arms, resting my head on his chest, weeping. “I don’t want to go back to my parent’s home, Beta. I know I made a mistake but please Beta help me out,” I press my boobs into his chest, hugging him tightly.
His hands spread wide open in the air, avoiding touching me. I know he is very loyal to Alpha Arthur, but I will use my woman power on him and get back to Alpha Arthur’s life. Even if it means seducing him, I will do it for the sake of the throne.
