“Check.”
“Yes, I understand, Mr. Walters.”
Hanging up the phone, Cedric couldn’t help but sigh.
After all these years of searching, there was still no news. The only possibility he could think of was that this person simply didn’t want to be found.
Taylor had already been so heartless, yet Cedric couldn’t understand why his boss still wouldn’t let go!
In the past three years, there had been hundreds, if not thousands, of women trying to win Mr. Walters’ favor. Among them were many beautiful and well-built women, as well as socialites with family backgrounds comparable to W Group. But he remained indifferent, never allowing any woman to get close. Rumors were even spreading that he didn’t like women.
Cedric glanced at the manila envelope in his hand.
Since Mr. Walters said it wasn’t important, he didn’t bother to look through it.
After all, he had just inspected the resort project in Wayer City himself. It was merely a matter of dealing with a stubborn resident before they could officially start construction. The project managers wouldn’t need to interact directly with W Group’s headquarters, so there was no need for him to get involved.
What was most troubling now was… when would there be news about Taylor?
There really wasn’t a single clue.
Cedric helplessly dialed the number of a private detective agency abroad. This was already the tenth one he had contacted.
“Hello, I was referred to you and would like to investigate someone’s whereabouts…”

Nova Zealandia, Willer Manor.
As soon as Ulric’s plane landed, he saw the business headlines-W Group’s CEO was about to get married.
The article took up an entire page speculating about the bride’s identity, causing quite a stir in the business world.
It wasn’t hard to guess that this was the main reason his parents had tricked him into coming abroad; he knew it all too well.
After all these years, they still hadn’t given up on pairing him with Sirena.
But for every thousand attempts they made, Ulric refused a thousand and one times.
As the car drove into the estate, Audrey was already waiting at the villa entrance from afar, looking ready to confront him.
Ulric had experienced this scene many times over the years and was used to it.
As soon as he got out of the car, Audrey rushed up impatiently and asked, “Have you found that Rosalind?!”
“Not yet.” Ulric’s eyes flickered slightly at the mention of Rosalind’s name, but his tone remained calm and composed.
“Then who leaked the news about your marriage? Who are you marrying?” Audrey had nearly been sent back to the hospital from anger when she saw the news.
It was Caesar who advised her not to get upset just yet and to call their son over to find out what was going on.
He believed that since Rosalind had agreed to leave, she wouldn’t go back on her word so quickly. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have agreed in the first place.
“Who I marry is my business.”
“The person you marry will be the CEO’s wife of W Group. She must at least be a good partner for you! No one but Sirena is qualified.”
Ulric had anticipated his mother would say this.
But, “I’ve said it before, I won’t marry Sirena.”
“Then let me tell you, I won’t accept Rosalind as my daughter-in-law!”
Audrey was equally unyielding. The moment mother and son met, they were at each other’s throats.
Years ago, after Ulric and Rosalind got their divorce certificate, he sent his mother back abroad shortly after. Audrey and Caesar thought that after a few years of cooling off, he would forget about Rosalind and then they could persuade him to accept Sirena.
But unexpectedly, now their son’s wedding announcement had been made public!
“It’s not her.”
Ulric’s words left Audrey stunned.
“Not Rosalind?!”
She hadn’t heard of any other woman in her son’s life!
