Enrico raised his foot and walked into the room, only to see the room in a mess, the sofa, chairs, desks were all pushed to the floor, even the mattresses were forcibly ripped aside, searched so cleanly, not as if there were still people who could hide through.
It seems that the little spy is not back to the hotel.
Enrico watched coldly and turned around to leave, when suddenly, a small sound came.
“…”
He suddenly glanced sideways, to the closet not far from the wall.
The closet door was pulled all the way open, and the inside was plain to see; a few bathrobes, a pure white quilt hanging above them.
Suddenly, the quilt moved.
He lifted his leg toward the closet and stood still, unmoving.
The quilt shook even more.
Enrico let out a low laugh in disgust, “How much longer are you going to hide?”
The words fell.
A small, rolling panda fell out of the hanging quilt on the bar.
Gabriel fell into the closet, looking up with a blank face at the tall man in front of the door, Enrico looked down at him with a sneer.
Gabriel’s mouth dropped and he rolled out and sat down on his butt, hugging his legs and howling, “What took you so long? I was scared to death!”
Oooooooh.
It was so scary.
It’s full of bad people out there, scarier than the teachers at early childhood education!
“…”
Enrico looked at his leg pendant and his smile faded, “Let go.”
He was lucky to be back, how dare he question it.
“I won’t let go.” Gabriel hugged him even harder, only slightly freeing a tiny hand and spreading it out, “Look, my hand is red, it hurts.”
Enrico looked over with lowered eyes, only to see a red mark on his small white palm and signs of abrasion.
“You’re not too stupid.” Enrico grunted coldly.
The kidnappers had searched the room thoroughly, but they hadn’t realized that the little guy knew how to grab the crossbar of the closet and hoist himself up, using the draped quilt as cover.
At that, Gabriel pouted and blew twice into his hand, blurting out, “I must be pretty smart then!”
He just can’t read numbers.
“Then if you’re so smart, figure out a way to leave on your own!” Enrico said coldly, trying to kick Gabriel out of the way.
“No, no, no, I’m just a three year old, how can you leave me alone.” Gabriel hurriedly clung to his thighs and looked up at him with his little face, “How sad would my mommy be if I was taken by the bad guys.”
“What’s it to me if your mommy is sad? Let go.” Enrico struggled a few times, but didn’t break away from the pestering little panda, so he leaned down and lifted him up with one hand.
Footsteps suddenly came from outside.
Enrico held Gabriel with one hand, covered his mouth with his large palm, and pressed his side to the wall next to the closet.
“Just this floor’s cameras are down, that guy must have run this floor, check!”
“He’s got a gun on him, shoot anyone you see, kill them.”
“Yes.”
About four or five footsteps walked in towards the room next to it.
This one, sooner or later, must be checked over.
Enrico’s eyes were huffy, the little panda that was being held by him, suddenly turned around, his short arms wrapped around his neck, and asked in a mysterious whisper in his ear, “The bad guys are coming, can you beat them?”
“Can’t beat them.” Enrico said without even thinking.
“Oh, then you can’t, my mommy can fight them.” Gabriel pressed his voice to elaborate on the fact, disappointed.
“Then go find your mommy.” Enrico sneered.
I can’t believe he came back for this little traitor.
“Hey, my mommy isn’t here, I told her to go and work on her business.”
Gabriel said with some sadness, after thinking about it, he patted Enrico’s shoulder and comforted him with his over the top vocabulary, “Although you’re not as good as my mommy, but at least you’re better than me, just give it a try, if it really doesn’t work, I won’t blame you if I’m captured, after all, everyone’s fighting strength is not the same.”
Parents are doomed, they can’t be chosen.
If he is a son, he can’t dislike his daddy, just try his best.
“…”
Why did that sound so annoying to him.
Why did he have to compare himself to other people’s moms?
Enrico sank his face and said, “Shut up, hold tight, and don’t move.”
Saying that, and not waiting for Gabriel to get ready, Enrico carried him forward, picked up a black mask in his hand and put it on, and then walked out in a dignified manner.
At the door of the next room, a man was guarding the doorway, and suddenly saw a tall man, holding a child in one arm, walk out, and the man was dumbfounded, staring blankly for a moment, and it took zero point three seconds before he reacted and said loudly, “He’s here.”
He drew his gun in a hurry.
“Bang!”
Enrico fired a shot through.
Blood splattered all over the wall.
Shocked, Gabriel’s tiny body tensed and he closed his eyes tightly, his short arms wrapped tightly around his neck.
Enrico’s broken bones hadn’t healed yet, and he was a little flooded with pain from the hug.
What a pain in the ass.
Enrico looked down at him and lifted his hand upwards, clasping the palm of his hand around his small head.
The warmth of his palm eased Gabriel a bit, his body tensing less.
Enrico held him back as the kidnappers who were searching the room, immediately roared out when they heard the gunshots, pulling out their guns and firing them over at the two, but they were all killed first by Enrico.
Enrico went up to two floors in a row, the kidnappers chasing after him were endless, one by one fell under his gun.
At this moment, Scarface also noticed that the drunkard he let in wasn’t a simple person at all, and panicked a bit for a moment.
Enrico hugged Gabriel and retreated to a lounge, reaching out to close the door and pulling a side table against it before walking to the window and glancing outside.
Kevin’s men had finally arrived.
The highway was blocked off and there were two rows of cars parked on the road, fully equipped SWAT officers all underneath, guns trained on the hotel, but not yet clear enough of the situation to venture in.
“You’re from the police, aren’t you?”
Scarface’s voice suddenly resounded from the hotel room, ringing through the door, shouting at none other than Enrico, “You have three minutes to come to the lobby right now, or I’ll start killing hostages.”
“…”
Enrico sneered.
This was a kidnapping that was announced to the whole country, and these people expected that they wouldn’t get away with it that easily, so they just went for the boom, even planting bombs, clearly a daredevil approach.
He is not unable to solve this part of the people, but to solve to the extent that the other side panic, the bomb will be detonated, then he can not escape here.
He had seen that bomb, and it was enough to detonate the entire hotel.
He was not a Bodhisattva.
Saving this little spy was already the limit.
But–
If too many hostages died, there would be a public outcry in the country, and Paige would be cursed for the rest of her life for rebuilding the slums.
Trouble.
Enrico puts Gabriel down and starts searching the lounge for paper and a pen, biting off the cap and scribbling a few large, quick words on the top of the paper-
