The White Dragon scrutinized him for a while, then noticed the White Dragon Beard in his hand and gestured for him to climb on.
Once Quentin was on the dragon’s back, they soared into the sky and in the blink of an eye arrived at a courtyard. The courtyard was empty, radiating golden light, and the White Dragon lay beside it, behaving like a well-behaved little cat.
Quentin was puzzled, but soon he saw two people in the courtyard – his parents.
“Dad, Mom! You’re still alive?!” Quentin couldn’t hold back his tears and rushed towards his parents with overwhelming excitement.
Quentin’s parents were also overjoyed by their son’s arrival. They had secluded themselves here to avoid being hunted down by the Holland family, and they had long given up hope of ever reuniting with Quentin.
But unexpectedly, their reunion came so suddenly, so unexpectedly!
