This was not an easy choice for Netherworld Palace!
Although the warehouse of Skylight City was indeed very tempting, the pressure from The Wilderness was no joke.
If they really decided to make a move against them, just one or two late-stage Supreme Ancestry Realm experts would be enough to crush them!
“I won’t give you much time to consider!” Billy continued, “If you don’t want to take the risk, I won’t force you!”
“Mr. Billy, people from The Wilderness are unlikely to give up on the Nine Dragons Cauldron easily. Do you have a plan to deal with them?” an elder asked.
“No!” Billy shook his head in response.
“But I can guarantee one thing: if The Wilderness wants to move against Netherworld Palace, they must get past me first. You won’t even need to step in.”
“I agree!” Ricky Cunningham took a deep breath and said, “Netherworld Palace is willing to submit to Mr. Billy and advance and retreat together with him!”
Making this decision was not a momentary impulse for Ricky Cunningham.
On one hand, he knew very well that this was indeed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Netherworld Palace!
If they succeeded, Netherworld Palace would definitely become the overlord of this world, and there might even be a chance to return to the seventh-rank star domain!
On the other hand, Billy coming to Netherworld Palace first showed his respect. After all, Netherworld Palace was not the only force in the Silent Ruins Sky Realm.
If Netherworld Palace was unwilling to submit, Billy could easily turn to other forces, and Inferno would be a good choice.
As for The Wilderness, he had considered it too. Although he didn’t think Billy had the strength to contend with the entire Wilderness, he had confidence in Sanaa!
In his view, as long as Sanaa was in the Silent Ruins Sky Realm, it would be unlikely for The Wilderness to fully control this void.
Otherwise, people from The Wilderness would have come down long ago; the spiritual energy here was much more abundant than in The Wilderness!
“Very well!” Billy nodded, “I’ll give you two days. Can you take down Skylight City?”
“If it’s really as Mr. Billy said and Skylight City’s high-end combat power has been reduced by ninety percent, one day will be enough!” Ricky Cunningham responded.
“Then make haste!” Billy said.
“Understood!” Ricky Cunningham nodded.
A quarter of an hour later, Ricky Cunningham selected eight or nine hundred people from Netherworld Palace and headed towards Skylight City.
After leaving Netherworld Palace, Billy went to Inferno for two purposes.
One was to find some food for Dark Puppet; after all, those wandering souls and ghosts in Inferno were a menace and could serve as a meal for Dark Puppet.
The second purpose was to give Inferno a bit of a scare so they wouldn’t get any funny ideas.
A few hours later, he emerged from Inferno, having achieved both goals.
After leaving Inferno, Billy tried to contact Harleen and the others but received no response and had to give up temporarily.
Then, Billy activated his Nether Wings and flew towards Skylight City.
The events that followed in Skylight City proceeded according to his plan.
After arriving in Skylight City, the people from Netherworld Palace took about eight or nine hours to gain control of the entire city, including the City Lord’s Mansion and other forces within the city.
In the chaos, Randy Thomas and Foxy Lady were both killed, their faces filled with endless resentment.
Both of them were genuine Prime Source Realm cultivators and top experts in Silent Ruins Sky Realm.
But in the end, they met their demise under a flurry of blades, leaving them truly unwilling!
In the following days, Billy and his group temporarily stayed at the City Lord’s Mansion.
Azure Dragon, Azure Fang, Bob, and Ian Blade successively faced Thunder Tribulation. With sufficient accumulation, they successfully crossed the tribulation and advanced to third-rank Holy Ancestry Realm.
Afterward, everyone, including Tommy and his group, returned to the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space for cultivation.
In the past few days, hundreds of storage rings left by the three forces from The Wilderness contained a large number of high-level cultivation resources. Especially Jenson Murphy’s storage ring was dazzlingly bright.
This was why Billy wasn’t interested in Skylight City’s warehouse; given their current situation, they had more than enough cultivation resources. What they lacked was time, not resources!
As for Billy himself, besides refining Spirit Fruit and beast cores, he spent a lot of time on the blade technique Sanaa had given him.
Heaven rewards diligent efforts; after ten days of relentless practice, he finally made some progress.
Then he spent another four or five days and barely reached a minor accomplishment in this blade technique.
“Billy, since we have some free time now, why don’t you take me to find the Spiritual Line Origin here?” Purple Spirit’s voice echoed in Billy’s mind one day.
“Sure!” Billy responded after a brief pause. “Do you have an idea where it might be?”
“Yes!” Purple Spirit replied.
“It should be in that primeval forest tens of thousands of miles east of Skylight City. I could sense it roughly when we came here.”
“Oh?” Billy’s eyes lit up slightly. “Then let’s go check it out!”
“Thank you, Billy!” Purple Spirit said joyfully.
Billy then activated his Nether Wings and flew towards the primeval forest Purple Spirit had mentioned.
“Billy, we should be close. Let’s land first!” About an hour later, Purple Spirit’s voice sounded again.
“Alright!” Billy responded and landed in an open space within the primeval forest below.
Looking around, apart from towering ancient trees reaching into the sky, there were no other anomalies.
Billy then released his spiritual power, covering an area nearly a hundred kilometers in radius. Apart from some fierce beasts’ auras, there were no signs of other living beings.
“Billy, be careful; there are quite a few high-level fierce beasts around here,” Purple Spirit reminded him.
“No problem!” Billy replied and asked, “Can you pinpoint the exact location of the Spiritual Line Origin?”
“Not yet. Head towards the right front,” Purple Spirit responded.
“Alright!” Billy said as he walked towards the right front.
Roar!
After walking for a short while, a fierce beast’s roar echoed. A massive shadow like a small mountain charged at Billy at high speed.
Billy, who was already prepared, casually swung his blade. The blade light entered the beast’s abdomen directly, splitting it open.
The beast crashed heavily to the ground, its body mangled. After twitching a few times, it lay still.
The beast resembled a rhinoceros but was at least three or four times larger than an ordinary one. It had a horn over two meters long on its head.
Roar! Roar!
Soon after, more than ten fierce beasts roared around him. In no time, over ten similar beasts charged out from all directions.
Billy quickly assessed these beasts’ levels; their combat power was comparable to early-stage Supreme Ancestry Realm warriors, and their physical defenses were akin to mid-stage Supreme Ancestry Realm warriors.
Of course, given Billy’s current combat power, these beasts were no longer his match.
After a flurry of blade lights, all the beasts lay on the ground. Billy spent a few minutes extracting their beast cores before continuing forward.
After walking for about two more quarters of an hour, Billy slowed down his pace.
Not far ahead of him was a medium-sized pool with clear water but too deep to see the bottom.
Billy could clearly feel that the concentration of spiritual energy around here was much higher than elsewhere; the closer he got to the pool, the denser it became!
“Purple Spirit, is the Spiritual Line Origin in this pool?” Billy asked.
