“Sir, what is that thing? Is it also some kind of spirit?” Blondie asked nervously, pointing at Dark Puppet.
“I don’t know either!” Billy replied as he stored Dark Puppet into his storage ring.
After speaking, he pointed to the well and looked at Blondie, “You stay here and keep watch. I’ll go down and take a look.”
“Okay!” Blondie responded.
Then, Billy jumped directly into the well.
The depth of the well far exceeded Billy’s expectations. He felt like he was falling for hundreds of meters without reaching the bottom, and the smell of blood grew stronger.
After descending another hundred meters or so, he finally landed on solid ground. Looking around, he saw a passage not far ahead.
Billy walked along the passage for a while and arrived at an entrance to a space of several thousand square meters.
From the entrance, the entire space was filled with a dense bloody aura, which grew thicker the further down it went.
Billy also noticed that there was a ripple at the entrance and he could detect formation line fluctuations, indicating an array had been set up.
Following the method Sanaa had taught him, Billy passed through the entrance and entered the space.
“Huh?” As soon as he entered, Billy’s pupils contracted slightly.
He could clearly feel his blood reacting, as if resonating with something.
After spending a few minutes surveying the space and finding nothing unusual, he let Casey and the others out from the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space.
“Boss, is this the blood domain?” Casey asked upon seeing Billy.
“Yes!” Billy nodded. “Everyone, try to sense if your bloodline reacts!”
“Okay!” Everyone responded and found a place to sit cross-legged, then began to sense their bloodlines.
Billy did the same, sitting cross-legged on a large rock.
It didn’t take long for his blood to start stirring strongly, almost as if it wanted to burst out of his body.
After a while, his blood vessels expanded more than twice their usual size, veins bulging on his forehead, and a look of pain appeared on his face.
Just like the previous two times he awakened his bloodline, that feeling of blood flowing backward and ants gnawing at his bones returned!
Not only Billy but Casey and the others experienced similar reactions.
Everyone’s expressions were twisted with pain, sweat beads forming on their foreheads, bodies trembling uncontrollably, and their auras fluctuating wildly.
The most frustrating part was that this feeling showed no signs of stopping. Hours passed, and the pain only intensified, pushing everyone to their limits.
“What’s going on? This is unbearable!” Judge shouted first. “I feel like my blood vessels are going to explode!”
“Same here!” White Tiger responded. “The previous bloodline awakenings weren’t this intense. This is too much!”
“If this continues, I’m going to die from my body exploding!” Soul Chaser said.
“Me too!” Vermilion Bird added.
While they were talking, they noticed Stout wasn’t making any noise and turned to look at him.
Stout was drenched in sweat, trembling all over, teeth clenched, eyes bloodshot.
“Stout, are you okay?” Felicia asked.
“I… I need to get out… I can’t awaken my bloodline anymore…” Stout said as he tried to stand up.
But before he could fully stand, he fainted.
“Stout!” Everyone exclaimed simultaneously.
“You all continue; we’ll check on him!” At this moment, Tommy, The Scholar, and Annalise emerged from the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space.
The three of them didn’t need to awaken their bloodlines, so they weren’t too affected by being in this space.
As Tommy spoke, he helped Stout sit up and placed his hand on Stout’s back, channeling Chi power into him.
Although Stout didn’t wake up immediately, with Tommy’s help, his aura stabilized quickly.
Casey and the others went through similar experiences as Stout. However, with Tommy’s assistance, they managed to endure the worst phase.
Billy was no exception. After enduring for over ten hours, he reached his limit and fainted.
But he knew his bloodline had a self-protection mechanism even when unconscious, so he told Tommy not to worry about him.
As expected, after fainting, his bloodline activated its self-protection mechanism. He woke up a day later.
In the following days, everyone experienced similar cycles of consciousness and unconsciousness. This process was exhausting but also rapidly enhanced their auras.
Half a month flew by. Everyone could feel their bloodlines stabilizing and the fluctuations diminishing.
Clearly, this bloodline awakening was nearing its end.
One morning, Billy emerged from the well while everyone else returned to the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space to consolidate their cultivation levels after significant improvements.
This bloodline awakening had unprecedented effects!
Casey and Stout advanced four or five minor levels each, breaking through to the eighth-rank Holy Ancestry Realm. Felicia, Vermilion Bird, White Tiger, and others also made significant progress to the half-step Holy Ancestry Realm.
Azure Dragon, Azure Fang, Bob, and Ian Blade were temporarily stuck at half-step Holy Ancestry Realm due to needing to undergo Thunder Tribulation.
Billy’s unique physique and bloodline meant his progress was slower but still reached ninth-rank Holy Ancestry Realm!
Tommy and the others didn’t awaken their bloodlines but refined many high-level beast cores and natural treasures. Over half a month, they each advanced one level to fourth-rank Supreme Ancestry Realm.
“Greetings, Sir!” Blondie greeted Billy upon seeing him emerge from the well.
As he spoke, Blondie roughly assessed Billy’s cultivation level with a slightly surprised expression.
Previously, he had seen some talented geniuses enter for bloodline awakening. The most exaggerated one had broken through an entire major realm after staying for half a month.
Billy had only advanced four levels!
Given Billy’s noble bloodline, Blondie thought his progress should have been faster but couldn’t understand why it wasn’t!
“Has anyone come by during this time?” Billy asked.
“No!” Blondie shook his head.
“Do you want to leave?” Billy asked again.
“No thanks. I’m fine staying here,” Blondie replied.
“That’s good!” Billy nodded.
Blood Spirits fed on blood; going outside would undoubtedly cause unpredictable consequences.
A couple of minutes later, after giving Blondie some instructions, Billy activated the teleportation stone Sanaa had given him.
In an instant, he appeared in a small town while people in Skylight City still guarded the entrance of the blood domain’s Teleportation Array, waiting for him in vain.
“Huh?” Billy frowned as he approached Sanaa’s courtyard.
The entire courtyard had been razed to the ground; its walls and main buildings were now ruins.
Billy then let everyone out from the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space.
“What’s going on?!” Everyone exclaimed in surprise upon seeing the scene before them.
