Sanaa had already informed Billy of the method to break the array in the previous stream of information.
A few minutes later, Billy entered the cave.
“Billy, the people from Skylight City will soon know something happened here and will definitely send someone again. Should White Feather and I stay here to guard?” Purple Spirit’s voice echoed in Billy’s mind.
“No need!” Billy replied.
“But what if a strong person from Skylight City comes…” Purple Spirit continued.
“Don’t worry, it’s fine!” Billy interrupted her.
After walking for a few more minutes, a ripple appeared in the passage ahead, leading to the blood domain. Billy observed it briefly before stepping inside.
About half an hour later, Billy arrived in an unfamiliar space filled with mist, with visibility only extending a thousand meters. The air was thick with a sinister aura and a faint scent of blood.
Billy turned to face the Teleportation Array exit, his hands forming a seal that he sent towards the array. In an instant, the ripple at the exit vanished as if it had never been there.
“Billy, what did you do? Why is the teleportation passage gone?” Purple Spirit’s voice rang out again.
“I sealed the exit!” Billy smiled faintly.
“You can seal the exit of this teleportation passage?” Purple Spirit asked in surprise.
“Miss Sanaa taught me!” Billy chuckled.
As he said, Sanaa had indeed taught him, anticipating that people from Skylight City might pursue them.
“I really wonder who that Missy is; she’s amazing!” Purple Spirit remarked.
“I’d like to know too!” Billy responded with a light smile.
After speaking, he continued walking forward. Despite walking for nearly half an hour, nothing unusual happened. Spiritual power was also limited here, and he couldn’t sense any fluctuations.
“Billy, be careful. There’s a fluctuation not far ahead!” Purple Spirit warned after they walked a bit further.
“Do you know what it is?” Billy asked, puzzled.
Before he could finish his question, a blood-red figure suddenly flashed out from the mist on the left, moving extremely fast and reaching out towards him in an instant.
“Hmm?” Billy frowned slightly and swept his hand out in a palm strike.
With a muffled sound, the figure was thrown a thousand meters away. Before Billy could see what it was, it quickly disappeared into the mist.
“Purple Spirit, do you know what that was?” Billy asked, focusing his consciousness inward.
“I don’t know; I couldn’t see clearly!” Purple Spirit replied. “Billy, be careful. I sense many similar fluctuations around us…”
Before Purple Spirit could finish her sentence, noises erupted around them as the mist churned continuously.
In the next moment, numerous blood-red figures emerged from the mist, numbering at least several hundred. This time, Billy finally saw what they were.
They were about three feet tall, with facial features and limbs similar to humans. However, their eyes took up a much larger proportion of their faces, and their bodies were semi-transparent and entirely blood-red.
“Billy, if I’m not mistaken, these should be Blood Spirits!” Purple Spirit’s voice sounded again.
“Blood Spirits?” Billy was slightly taken aback.
He knew that various spirits existed in the vast universe, like Purple Spirit. However, this was the first time he had heard of Blood Spirits!
“Yes!” Purple Spirit confirmed. “No wonder Miss Sanaa said this place could awaken bloodlines. A place that can nurture Blood Spirits is no ordinary place!”
At that moment, the Blood Spirits around them charged at Billy. Based on his initial judgment, most of these Blood Spirits had combat power comparable to mid-to-late Holy Ancestry Realm levels.
As Billy activated his power, blood mist appeared around him. Given his current strength, these Blood Spirits were no match for him. In just a few blinks of an eye, half of them had dissipated into nothingness.
The remaining ones seemed to realize they were no match and quickly retreated into the mist after blinking their large eyes. Billy didn’t pursue them.
After pausing briefly, he continued forward. He had no sense of direction here and couldn’t sense any life force. The only thing guiding him was the scent of blood in the air.
This was also something Sanaa had told him: the stronger the scent of blood, the closer he was to his destination!
“Billy, dodge quickly!” After walking for a while longer, Purple Spirit shouted urgently.
Simultaneously with her shout, Billy sensed danger and used his Nether Wings to swiftly retreat a thousand meters back.
Almost immediately after he moved away, a blood-red wave crashed heavily onto where he had stood moments before, creating a massive crater hundreds of meters wide and causing the entire void to tremble.
The powerful shockwave spread rapidly, pushing Billy back another hundred meters despite being a thousand meters away.
From this display alone, it was clear that their opponent’s combat power was definitely in the late stages of the Supreme Ancestry Realm.
In the next moment, a Blood Spirit appeared within Billy’s sight. It was nearly ten times larger than the previous ones, standing like a giant.
“An evolved Blood Spirit?!” Purple Spirit exclaimed. “Billy, it should be able to speak; try talking to it!”
“Oh?” Billy was slightly surprised and then looked at the Blood Spirit. “I mean no offense; I just need to use this place.”
“Leave within three breaths!” The Blood Spirit replied.
It could indeed speak!
“What if I refuse?” Billy smiled faintly.
“Then die!” The Blood Spirit growled before leaping towards Billy with a blood-red wave following closely behind.
Billy’s eyes narrowed slightly as he raised his Nether Shield to block the attack.
With a muffled sound, Billy was pushed back a thousand meters but remained mostly unharmed.
The Blood Spirit didn’t stop and continued its relentless assault. However, due to Billy’s Nether Wings and Nether Shield, it was difficult for it to inflict significant damage on him quickly.
“Billy, try activating your bloodline!” After several exchanges, Purple Spirit suggested again.
“Alright!” Billy replied. He had already considered this; without activating his bloodline, it would be hard to defeat his opponent.
Before he finished speaking, his eyes narrowed slightly as he activated his bloodline power.
“Die!” At the same time, the Blood Spirit growled and prepared to attack again. However, it stopped halfway through its charge and looked at Billy with a shocked expression.
“What… what kind of bloodline is that?”
As it spoke, its aura weakened significantly, and its body shrank to about three feet tall at a visible speed.
“Just as I thought!” Purple Spirit’s voice echoed.
“What’s going on?” Billy asked Purple Spirit in his mind.
“Bloodline suppression!” Purple Spirit explained. “Billy, your bloodline is so powerful that even Blood Spirits fear it!”
