The next moment, the Nether Flame Spear shot towards the ghostly face like a blue lightning bolt. As it passed, the air ignited into a blue dragon-like blaze, lighting up half the sky.
The spear pierced through the ghostly face’s mouth, causing it to explode. The spear then continued towards the Inferno’s Lord. “What?!” Inferno’s Lord’s pupils contracted in shock. A sense of impending death surged from his feet to his head, making him shiver uncontrollably. In a panic, he dodged to the side.
The spear grazed his waist, turning the skin into charred ash and the blood into blue flames that dissipated into nothingness. Inferno’s Lord screamed and was thrown a thousand meters away, his face filled with horror. He never expected Billy to possess such a powerful weapon.
To his despair, before he could catch his breath, Billy’s eyes narrowed slightly, and the spear returned to his hand as if it had a mind of its own. “I surrender!” Inferno’s Lord shouted hastily as he saw Billy preparing to strike again.
“Too late,” Billy said calmly, shaking his wrist. The spear shot out again, tearing through the void. “I won’t accept this!” Inferno’s Lord roared in despair.
“Stop!” A raspy voice suddenly echoed. A powerful aura swept in, forming an array wall in front of Inferno’s Lord.
The spear collided with the barrier, causing it to tremble violently before returning to its original state. The spear rebounded a hundred meters before falling to the ground. Billy’s eyes narrowed as the spear returned to his hand. He looked towards the source of the voice.
A shadowy figure appeared-a soul projection. Seeing this, Tommy and the others, along with White Feather and Purple Spirit, stopped fighting and gathered around Billy.
“Thank you, Ancestor,” Inferno’s Lord said weakly, having narrowly escaped death.
“Who are you?” The Inferno Ancestor asked Billy in a raspy voice. “Why have you killed so many of my Inferno people?”
“Your people tried to kill me. Should I just stand here and let them?” Billy replied calmly. He didn’t attack again; although the opponent was just a soul projection, it could still wield eighth-rank Supreme Ancestry Realm power for a short time.
“Why?” The Inferno Ancestor turned to Inferno’s Lord.
Inferno’s Lord opened his mouth but couldn’t speak.
“Let me explain,” Billy said calmly. “I have the Nine Dragons Cauldron and Skystone. Your people wanted them. It’s that simple.”
“The Nine Dragons Cauldron is with you?” The Inferno Ancestor asked in shock, scanning Billy with spiritual power, his expression growing even more astonished.
“So, do you want it too?” Billy asked with a faint smile.
“Is it true? Did you really try to take the Nine Dragons Cauldron?” The Inferno Ancestor asked Inferno’s Lord.
“Ancestor, with the Nine Dragons Cauldron, we could return to the seventh-tier star domain or even reach the ninth-tier star domain…” Inferno’s Lord replied after taking a deep breath.
“Fool!” The Inferno Ancestor interrupted angrily. “Do you know how many people in higher-tier star domains are searching for the Nine Dragons Cauldron? Do you think you can survive carrying it to the seventh-tier star domain?”
“But if we have the Nine Dragons Cauldron, we won’t need to fear…” Inferno’s Lord continued.
“Ignorant!” The Inferno Ancestor interrupted again. “Can you wield the Nine Dragons Cauldron to defend yourself? Do you know that even at my peak, I couldn’t control it? Taking the Nine Dragons Cauldron is inviting hatred-hatred that will make you despair! You haven’t been to higher-tier star domains; you don’t know their terror. With your skills, a true expert could destroy your soul with a single thought!”
Inferno’s Lord took a deep breath and said, “I understand my mistake. Please punish me, Ancestor.”
“What will it take to settle this?” The Inferno Ancestor asked Billy angrily after glaring at Inferno’s Lord.
“That depends on what you’re willing to offer in exchange,” Billy replied. He didn’t necessarily want to kill Inferno’s Lord; killing wasn’t his goal. Besides, after this battle, most of Inferno’s high-level combatants were dead, so they wouldn’t pose a threat for some time.
“You’ve killed so many of my people; that should be enough!” The Inferno Ancestor said coldly. “I can let this go and allow you to leave alive. How about that?”
“Heh, what do you think?” Billy retorted.
“Do you want to fight?” The Inferno Ancestor asked coldly.
“Why not?” Billy’s eyes narrowed as his aura surged to its peak, and the Nether Flame Spear trembled in his hand.
“Ancestor, be careful! Besides the Nether Flame Spear, he also has Nether Wings from Netherworld Palace!” Inferno’s Lord shouted. He knew that while the ancestor’s soul projection was stronger than him, it wouldn’t last long. With Nether Wings, Billy could outlast the ancestor even without fighting directly. Moreover, Billy had the Heavenly Xuan Array Compass; while he could temporarily avoid its interference through special means, the ancestor’s soul projection couldn’t. If Billy dragged him into Heavenly Xuan Space with Nether Wings and Nether Flame Spear, the ancestor wouldn’t stand a chance.
“Netherworld Palace gave you Nether Wings?!” The Inferno Ancestor’s pupils contracted slightly.
“Surprised?” Billy asked calmly. “If you don’t dare fight, then offer something valuable in exchange for your people’s lives!”
“The Netherworld Clan gave me three treasures to protect their palace. So what you offer better be worth it!”
“Fine!” The Inferno Ancestor sighed deeply. Then he flipped his wrist and sent an object towards Billy.
Billy looked at it-a small toy-like figure, only palm-sized and made of an indiscernible material. He covered it with spiritual power but sensed no life force. Seeing this small figure, Inferno’s Lord showed a surprised expression; he hadn’t expected the ancestor to give it away.
“What is this? A toy?” Billy asked.
“It’s called Dark Puppet and comes from a higher-tier star domain,” the Inferno Ancestor replied after taking a deep breath. “It’s one of our most precious treasures, far more valuable than those three items from Netherworld Palace. Even compared to the lower-ranked Sacred Objects, it’s not inferior.”
“Really?” Billy paused before asking, “What exactly does it do? Explain.”
