Yang Qianqian was afraid that if the YanG fell, she would no longer be the daughter of a rich and powerful family.
Han Yichen, on the other hand, was worried that his ambitions would be thwarted if the YanG went bankrupt.
Wasn’t it because of the YanG that he had betrayed Yayoi and become Yang Qianqian’s boyfriend?
He knew that Yang Qianqian was Chairman Yang’s most beloved youngest daughter. He had even said that he would leave the YanG to her after his death.
This was why he had tried his best to woo Yang Qianqian. Once Chairman Yang died, the YanG would be hers and by extension, his as well.
But what man proposes, God disposes.
No one expected the YanG to be on the brink of bankruptcy due to a capital chain rupture.
And this capital chain rupture had been caused by Qianqian and himself.
So he was eager to resolve the YanG’s financial problem.
Casper Yang’s astute eyes wandered over the faces of these two juniors. He could tell from their solemn expressions that they were afraid the YanG might fail, meaning their comfortable lifestyles would have to undergo a change.
“Qianqian… ” Casper Yang called out.
“Yes?” Yang Qianqian looked up at him.
“Go back and tell your Dad that someone wants to invest in the company’s projects, but they have a condition. We must give him 30% of the company’s shares.”
“30%?” Yang Qianqian and Han Yichen exclaimed in shock at the same time, staring at Casper Yang in disbelief.
“Yes. The man said he would only transfer the money to our bank account after we give him the shares.”
Yang Qianqian’s brows were knitted tightly. “Isn’t he taking advantage of our difficulty?”
30% would mean that this person had the right to ask for a re-election of the board’s chairman, and then the YanG would have to change hands.
It was such a risky business. How could her father ever consent?
Casper Yang could read her mind. “If your Dad won’t agree to this, then wait for our company to file for bankruptcy.”
In order to receive that man’s funds, they would have to give him 30% of their shares.
If not, the company could only file for bankruptcy.
It was a truly difficult dilemma. Yang Qianqian and Han Yichen’s originally downcast mood was now even gloomier.
“I can’t go back for the time being and will have to be investigated by the police. So, Qianqian, you have to persuade your Dad. It’s a good opportunity for our YanG to make a comeback.”
Casper Yang instructed them in an earnest and grave tone.
Yang Qianqian nodded. “Okay, I understand.”
…
“Boss, Chairman Yang rejected the offer.” Xavier Chen conveyed the Yangs’ intention to Morphy.
The latter raised his eyebrows upon hearing this. “This Chairman Yang is quite principled.”
“What should we do now?” Xavier Chen asked.
Morphy’s fingers tapped the table gently, his lips slowly curling into a vengeful sneer. “Leak the news that the YanG is poorly managed and that their capital chain has ruptured. Say that they are on the brink of bankruptcy.”
Xavier Chen frowned. “Why didn’t we do this from the start?”
At first, his boss had asked him to get in touch with Casper Yang, pretending that someone was interested in the YanG’s projects and wanted to invest.
This was why he had met Casper Yang later on.
“Why?” Morphy’s eyelids lifted slightly, his cold, clear eyes falling on Xavier Chen’s puzzled face. The smile on his lips intensified and became even colder.
“Because I like to give others hope, then ruthlessly snuff it out.”
Xavier Chen could not help but shudder involuntarily. “Okay, so Boss’s brain circuitry isn’t something most people can understand.”

The minute Rosiley arrived at her workplace, she turned on her computer to read the headlines out of habit.
An eye-catching headline caught her eye.
“Their share price has plummeted, so what awaits the once flourishing YanG?”
