Lexi’s p. o. v
I stood looking at the twins, Leomord, August, alpha Ian and a few warriors playing soccer.
I still couldn’t understand how everything escalated so fast. The twins were talking about how they were so good at football and Leomord pointed out how he was obviously way better than them because football was one of his best games. In a second it all blew up.
The next thing I knew, they were already set on the training field for a challenge. August joined the twins while alpha Ian went to Leomord’s side. A few warriors joined in too and the game began.
So far two hours had passed and yet no one could score.
“Are they still at it?” Whitney asked while she approached me.
“Yes, they all don’t want to quit or step back .” I answered.
“Leo!” She called loudly.
He looked at her and waved for a second before going back to what he was doing.
“He won’t listen.” I said honestly.
“They won’t listen to her, but they will listen to me.” Amelia answered behind us.
I smirked knowing fully well they will.
“Food is ready!” She called out as they all stopped and looked at her.
“Give us a few minutes babe.” Alpha Ian said loudly.
“No.” She answered seriously.
He looked at the others then walked towards us.
They all followed behind him.
“We just needed to prove to the twins that Leo is better than them.” He said as Amelia extended her hand.
“Hand.” She said seriously.
Alpha Ian smiled then took it and walked back to the palace with her.
“Oh well we can’t call it fair when Ian decides to leave.” Leomord said seriously.
“What does that mean?” Ryan asked.
“It means I’m going back too.” He answered then moved to Whiteny and wrapped his arm around her shoulder walking back with her.
“Man this sucks.” August whispered then went back to the palace with the rest of the warriors, leaving the twins looking at the ball in the field in disappointment.
“Is playing football that Important?” I asked seriously.
“Of course!” Evan answered on top of his voice then quickly raised his hand and brushed it through my hair.
“But it can’t compare to you because you are way above everything we like and love.” He added.
I moved and wrapped my arms around his waist with a smile.
“Brother we should go in as well because I don’t think they will be coming back any time soon.” Ryan answered then touched my back.
I pulled back and went to him. He smirked then swept me off of my feet lifting me up in bridal style.
“Shall we now go for lunch?” He asked.
“Yes.” I answered happily.
“Okay.” He said softly then began to walk back.
“Lexi.” He called.
“Yes.” I answered.
“We finally settled everything with alpha Ian. It turns out we won’t be leaving this place because it’s now our home.” He said as I shifted to look at his face seriously.
“Home?” I asked with a rapid beating heart.
“Yes, as of today this is our home. We will forever stay here with you, our mate, because I’m sure you would gladly choose to stay back because of Whitney and Uncle.” He answered.
I buried my face into his chest sadly because he was right. It would be a very hard decision but I would choose to stay with them because I owed them a lot.
“That now leads me to what I want to say to you.” He said.
I looked at him waiting for him to say it.
“We will be going back with Alpha Ian.” He said as I glanced at Evan seriously.
“Didn’t you say you were staying with me?” I asked on top of my voice.
“Of course we are, even if alpha Ian didn’t tell us to, we would have. What Ryan wants to say is that we will be going back for our things that side. When we came here, we left everything on that side because our orders weren’t to stay for a very long time, but to help out with the production of things. Now that it’s clear that this is now our home, we have to go back and get all of our things.” Evan answered.
“Then take me with you.” I said seriously.
“Lexi….”
“Please!” I exclaimed.
“Fine.” He said as I smiled happily.
We walked into the palace and went straight to the dining room where we found everyone.
Ryan carefully let me down and walked in front to pull out a chair for me.
I moved and sat down muttering thank you to him.
Then he sat on my left side while Evan took the right side.
“Now that we are all here, shall we pray?” One warrior said softly.
“Prayer?. To the goddess who hasn’t granted me a mate yet!, no way I’ll pass.” August answered bitterly as I laughed at him with Whitney.
“You are just bitter.” Leomord pointed out.
“Agreed.” Alpha Ian backed him up.
“What!. I’m not, you guys are saying this because you all are happy.” He spat.
“And you aren’t?” Evan asked.
He smiled then shrugged. We all could tell he was happy despite whining for no reason.
“Oh, now that we are all here I remember that I have something to tell you.” Alpha Ian said as we all faced him.
“It was great being here and fun. Honestly Axel and I have never had this much fun in our life. Amelia and I enjoyed your company but sadly we have to return to the pack tomorrow. Whitney and Leo will be running this territory on our behalf that’s why I want to ask you August together with these few warriors here, to please support them in everything.” He said.
August stood up from his chair as the few warriors followed suit.
“We will gladly Serve you Alpha Ian as well as our Alpha queen without question.” He said then gave a bow.
“Thank you.” Alpha Ian whispered softly.
“Now then, shall we start digging in because I’m starving.” Amelia said as we all laughed.
“Of course. Allow me to dish out the food.” Whitney answered then stood up.
I moved my hands under the table and linked it to the twins happily as they both gave me a tight squeeze making me giggle.
