Never in years did I ever think there would ever be a day I was going to confess my love to a female. It was very unbelievable, but here I was pouring out my heart and feelings to my mate.
Every moment I spent with her made me realize how much I felt. There was no more denying how I wanted and adored her.
With her it wasn’t about attraction and pride, it was much more. And what I felt in this very moment, I had never felt before with anyone.
“Let me say it again,” I whispered.
“I don’t think I’m in love with you, I know that I am in love with you.” I said seriously as Axel purred in satisfaction.
We felt the same way and it meant a lot to have her understand that we loved her.
I flinched when tear drops touched my cheek.
I quickly sat upright with her on my lap in a panic.
“Amelia, what is it?” I asked in concern.
“Is it because of my confession? Are you displeased by it or was it too early to let you know? Perhaps you are thinking of how badly I treated you at the beginning?. Look I am not forcing you to accept my feelings or to return them. I just want to…”
“I love you too.” She whispered in a cracked voice.
I sighed in relief and embraced her tightly.
Was this what they called tears of joy? Was she very happy to know that she has my heart in the palm of her hand?
Either way, it made me very happy as well to be accepted by her.
“Thank you.” I whispered then kissed her shoulder lightly.
“Ian.” She called softly.
I pulled back and gazed into her eyes lovingly.
“Can we take today as a farewell?” She asked.
“What? What do you mean by that?” I asked back seriously.
“Our first meeting was horrible and our encounters that went on were hard for the both of us. Today we are starting as lovers and mates, that’s why I want it to be a farewell that we bid on those terrible days we faced.” She said.
I smiled happily then wiped off her tears. I truly loved her idea and wanted to start anew.
“Okay, since today is our farewell day to the horrible times we shared, let’s be open and not keep any secrets from each other. Let’s do this, ask me anything you want and I will be very honest with you and in return, you will do the same.” I said.
After a few minutes of silence, she nodded.
“Okay.” She answered.
Perfect, that’s exactly what I wanted. Despite her telling me that today was her father’s memorial, I couldn’t swallow the feeling of her hiding something.
“I’ll ask first. Amelia, is there something you are hiding from me?” I asked seriously.
She quickly stood up and turned facing the ocean.
If there was any doubt Axel and I had it cleared out by her action. She really was hiding something from me and it wasn’t simple. For now, I didn’t want to upset her and make her sad, I wanted her happy. Eventually, I was going to make her open up and tell me the truth of what she had been hiding.
I stood up and moved closer hugging her from behind.
“I love you and I truly mean it. The day that you will feel ready to tell me, I promise I will listen.” I whispered then pulled back.
“Now shall you escort me to that place I wanted to go?” I asked.
She turned and faced me seriously.
“We can’t go anywhere, we are wet.” She answered.
I chuckled softly then closed the space between us.
“I don’t care how I look, when I’m with you, you are all that matters.” I whispered then moved my hand to her neck.
“You are all I have and the only thing that’s keeping me sane from the hell I’m going through.” I said softly then leaned in and kissed her forehead lightly before pressing my lips on hers.
I was about to pull back when she nibbled my lower lip and sucked on it with a low moan. I groaned and thrust my tongue in when she parted her shaking lips, a soft sigh escaped her which was followed by a loud moan. She wrapped her arm around my neck while she moved her other hand to my hair, her fingers running through it, then around my neck and ears sliding down.
My arms instantly went around her pulling her closer, closing the tiny space between us. Her tongue met mine, each time becoming more and more provocative.
It was at that moment that I knew I couldn’t go on without her.
The warmth of her breath and the soft moans coming from her were only feeding my arousal. I wanted to push her down on the sand and rip her clothes off savagely just so I could have my way with her there and then.
I pulled back and took a step back, my breath was labored and my chest was raising and falling. My body felt hot all over and her beautiful scent was stronger than before, I was hard from just a damn kiss! She was about to take a step forward when I quickly touched her shoulder to stop her.
No way was I having my way with her on the damn beach. She was my mate and the love of my life, there was just no way I was going to rush things between us. I was going to make love to her just not on the beach.
“Thinking about what you said before, I think we should go back home because we are really wet.” I blurted out trying to change the atmosphere around us.
She signed softly then turned and walked away.
“Amelia, wait up.” I called out as I followed behind.
“It’s not that I don’t want to continue our kiss, the reason I pulled back and stopped you from taking a step further is because I’m aroused. Like I’m really hard right now.” I said loudly.
She immediately stopped in her tracks and turned to look at me.
“It’s embarrassing to tell you this but it’s the truth. I don’t want you blowing me here or having to jerk off in front of you.” I said honestly.
I was astonished when she giggled then laughed loudly.
“What, why are you laughing.” I asked.
“I can’t believe you thought I was mad at you.” She said with laughter.
I walked to her and lifted her up on my shoulder ( caveman style ).
“What are you doing Ian!” She exclaimed when I began to walk back to the ocean ignoring her question.
“Ian.” She called loudly.
“I’m definitely going to toss you in the ocean.” I answered playfully.
“What, no!” She screamed cheerfully.
“Nothing you say will make me change my mind, Luna.” I answered.
“I’ll blow you when we reach home, I promise.” She said right when I stood in the water.
I laughed softly then carefully put her down and pulled the ribbon from her hair as it fell on her shoulders beautifully.
“You’ve got a smart mouth I see,” I whispered softly.
“And you alpha are plain cruel with your Luna.” She answered with a smile.
I lifted her up happily then kissed her collarbone as she wrapped her legs around my waist.
“I’m sorry Luna. With you, I try to act tough when in truth I am very weak.” I whispered honestly.
She pressed both of her hands on my cheeks gently and gazed into my eyes.
“I love you too Ian, more than anything in this world.” She answered then leaned in and kissed me as I kissed her back.
“Fuck the erection.” Was what went in my mind as I deepened the kiss.
