Felix’s p. o. v
“Let me get this straight Chase. You are a fairy, who’s older than you look?” I asked.
“Yes, to be specific I’m…. way above thirty years.” He answered as I laughed.
“You kidding me right?. Have you taken a fucking good look at yourself in the mirror?. You look like a fucking twenty-year-old.” I spat.
“Right back at you Samantha, you look like a twenty-year-old when you are way older than that.” He answered, making me cringe.
“Don’t call me that.” I warned, seriously.
The damn name only reminded me of my parents who were freaks stuck on perfecting me and making use of what I was.
“Sorry.” He muttered under his breath.
“It’s fine, let’s continue. You also said that me drinking your blood had its own effect, what did you mean by that.” I asked seriously.
He rubbed his forehead then dropped his hand.
“All fairy’s blood to a vampire is like a sweet and nice addiction. It’s not because I’m a virgin but because I’m a fairy that you enjoy sucking my blood.” He answered.
I stood up from the bed and turned facing him with folded arms.
“You are a virgin right?” I asked.
I didn’t know why I was concerned about that, but I really wanted his clarification.
“I am Felix. Which right girl in her mind would want me, I’m boring and a nerd by nature. I can’t keep a straight conversation going and I suck expressing my true feelings to people I care about.” He answered.
“That’s exactly why I am very fond of you.” I said seriously.
He frowned then took off his specks.
“What did you just say?” He asked.
“You heard me, I am fond of your character.” I answered as his facial expression changed into a sad one.
“What’s the matter?” I asked in concern.
“It’s not fondness you feel for me, Felix. It’s rather an addiction.” He answered, annoying me.
Did he take me for a cold jerk who couldn’t understand how they felt?. I liked him, that was the truth.
“I don’t know what you mean by that, but I’m being honest here when I say that I truly like you.” I said.
“No, you don’t. It’s my blood that’s making you think that way.” He answered.
“No, it’s not!” I yelled strongly.
I had drunk from a lot of different people and beings over the years yet none of them made me feel like he did. I cared for him and wanted him, it was as simple as that.
“When a fairy falls in love with a vampire, their blood becomes like an addiction to their partners. The more their partners suck the blood from them, the more they feel drawn to them be it sexually or not. The vampire begins to experience emotions such as fondness and care when they actually shouldn’t. It’s like a bond formed between them that makes the vampire submit to drinking only their blood.” He said as I furiously moved and grabbed him by the neck moving him from the bed and pushing him against the wall.
“You fucker, you knew yet you offered it to me anyway!. Why!” I yelled on top of my voice.
“Can’t you tell!. It’s because I am in love with you. When we first met It was love at first sight, then I knew what you were but decided not to show it. I know you won’t believe me but it’s the truth. I wanted to get to know you better, that’s why I had to lie to you. I wished for your love in return, not your addiction.” He answered loudly and for the first time tears rolled on his cheeks.
“Are your tears supposed to move me?” I asked with emphasis.
“No, they shouldn’t. I don’t want to keep anything hidden from you, that’s why I am telling you all this when I could have kept it a secret!” He exclaimed.
I dropped my hands from him and took a step back.
“Fair point bastard. What else do you have hidden in your miserable brain?” I asked calmly.
He rubbed his hand against his neck then dropped it.
“When the partner chosen by a fairy doesn’t love them in return and choose to stop drinking their blood or do reject them…” He trailed off and swallowed hard
“They slowly begin to die of a heartbreak.” He said as I burst out in laughter while clapping my hands.
What the fuck was I hearing!. It sounded exactly like shit out of a fairytale book.
“Oh my goodness, you got me there. Are you reciting shit from a fairytale book?” I asked between laughter.
“I can’t joke about my life.” He answered in a whisper as tears continued to fall.
My laughter instantly died.
“Are you saying that you willingly fell in love with me even when you knew I might not love you in return? and that you might die?” I asked seriously.
“Yes.” He answered.
“Well, that’s the stupidest thing one could ever do.” I said loudly.
“I know.” He answered then lowered his gaze to the ground.
“Do you regret it?” I asked after a low sigh.
He looked up and met my eyes.
“I have no regrets when it comes to you, Samantha. I am proudly in love with you even when I know the price I have to pay for falling.” He answered.
“Can you tell when I do fall in love with you?” I asked curiously.
“Does that mean you are willing to give me a chance?” He asked quickly.
“Just answer.” I ordered.
“I will just know. I can’t explain it but I will know.” He answered.
I brushed my hand through my hair with a heavy sigh.
“Fine, then keep offering me your blood. Who knows, maybe I might truly fall in love and accept you.” I said.
He quickly moved and wrapped his arms around me.
“Thank you.” He whispered.
I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist.
“Don’t be too comfortable because you have a lot of rivals.” I said softly.
“I know.” Came his reply.
“I also love a man who knows what he’s doing in bed, be it a virgin or not.” I continued.
“I know.” He answered with a chuckle.
“I hate men who cum before me and I also hate lying down and having a man please me. I love riding them and seeing their pitiful self crumble.” I said honestly.
He pulled back and looked me in the eyes with a smile.
“I know Samantha. That’s why I will work hard for you.” He whispered then leaned in and crushed his lips against mine.
I opened my mouth and allowed him to feel much of my taste as much as I wanted to feel his.
