Ian’s p. o. v
“Mmm,” I murmured under my breath then sighed loudly.
Axel was happier than he had ever been in our life. He was purring here and there, and that only made me feel annoyed.
I hated admitting the truth but the slave was amazing in giving head. What was more surprising, was the fact that she was way better than Sherry and every woman who had ever given me head.
Was she perhaps used to giving head?.
That thought made me sit upright on my seat with a frown.
“No way,” I muttered under my breath.
She wouldn’t lie to me, there was just no way that she would. I was her alpha and her supposed mate.
If I asked a question she would respond in her outermost honesty.
But then again…., she-wolves from another pack weren’t to be trusted. She obviously hated me after witnessing how I slaughtered her pack members, she was only putting on an act to spare herself from my claws.
“Fuck this,” I whispered in frustration as I stood up and walked to my whiskey table grabbing the bottle and popping it open.
“I’m becoming fucked up Axel.” I said silently as I poured the content into a glass.
“I can’t stop thinking about her.” I said loudly while I put the bottle back and grabbed the whisky glass.
“Perhaps it’s time to give her her rightful place.” He answered.
I chuckled mockingly and drank the whole content in one goal.
“And that is?… Wait, let me guess, our bed?” I asked seriously.
He kept quiet and that was enough for me to understand what he meant.
“You must be fucking crazy if you think we are going make her our mate and Luna.” I spat then threw the glass down deliberately shattering it and grabbed the bottle.
“You need to fucking sleep on your bullshit because your attitude only makes things hard for that slave. The more you force me to cherish her, the more I’ll rip her heart apart.” I warned and drank from the bottle.
“You can’t do shit to her if I don’t permit it. Just because I let you decide for us it doesn’t mean I can’t take over and lead, I’m way stronger than you and much wiser.” He said as I walked to the balcony.
So this was it, the bitch was finally stepping between the two of us. Never was there a day Axel went against me, but because of her, he was willing to do this much.
“Alpha.” Nana’s voice came through.
“The door is open.” I answered calmly then drunk from the bottle a mouth full.
The door opened and she slowly walked in.
“You are in the dark again.” She whispered softly.
“Yes, Nana. I love it that way.” I answered simply.
“No Alpha, you only stay in the dark when something is weighing on your mind.” She said softly then stood a few meters away.
“Nothing is weighing on my mind.” I lied without turning to look at her.
“You know, I practically raised you, so I know you better than anyone and right now I can tell that you are lying.” She said calmly.
I turned and faced her with a raised brow.
“I’m worried about the coming full moon.” I answered.
It wasn’t the full truth, but it was part of it.
“I see.” She whispered then took a few steps closer standing in front of me.
“You have always been strong my dear. No matter what, you have been surviving the horrible curse. This coming full moon won’t be any different. I have already warned the ladies to stay in their rooms and be cautious over their surroundings, so there is nothing to worry about.” She said then held my hands in hers.
I forced a smile on my face and nodded.
Nana was the only person who I respected, trusted with my life, and adored. She was like a mother to me.
Everything she did and said was all for my well-being. Her advice was always taken seriously and I made sure she had the very respect she deserved from everyone.
“Now then, I came here for a reason.” She said when she dropped her hands.
“Obviously.” I pointed out.
“I won’t beat around the bush alpha, I’m here because of Sherry.” She said as I coldly stared at her in silence.
“I know how upset you are over the mention of her name, but you have to hear me out.” She continued.
“Fine, talk.” I answered then drunk from the bottle making sure I was gulping down a lot of the liquid.
“Easy with the liquor, remember it has wolfsbane in it.” She said a little loudly while lifting her hands to stop me.
I moved the bottle from my lips and sighed loudly.
“Talk,” I repeated.
“That girl came into my room badly bleeding and in tears, I was terrified and thought one of the guards or the men had attacked her, but when she told me who had injured her I was in disbelief!. Never was there a day she was this badly injured by anyone and worse, by your hand!. You have never raised a hand on her and you treat her well, why would you do that to her?. Did she badly disrespect you or betray you?” She asked in concern.
“She disrespected me by calling me by my name.” I answered.
She blinked a few times then folded her arms.
“That’s all?” She asked loudly.
“Yes. What more do you want to hear?” I asked back and took a sip from my bottle.
“Alpha she’s your wife at least she should be allowed to call your name once in a while.” She exclaimed.
I shook my head slightly trying to get rid of the dizziness I was beginning to feel.
“Nana, calling me by name is out of question, she should feel prevailed to be able to serve me.” I answered, then walked past her and drank from the bottle again.
“What if the poor girl starts fearing you?” She asked.
“That would be awesome because I feel nothing for that bitch.” I answered then walked out of the room.
I wasn’t going to stay put and hear her talk about her non-stop.
