“You don’t know a lot of things about me, Alex,” Aaliyah looked at the stairs while talking to Alex.
She would have to get him out of here to record a confession. There is no way she would be able to do it here.
“I need some fresh air. It’s too suffocating here. I will head up to some balcony,” Aaliyah left Alex on the dance floor before taking a water bottle and walking towards the stairs.
She was still uncertain if the drug was given to her in the water bottle the last time. The bottle’s lid was sealed, so it was difficult to question.
Opening the seal, she quenched her thirst before sighing.
“Hey, Aaliyah. I am glad you could make it to the party,” Maria’s words stopped Aaliyah.
“I am glad you are honored with my presence,” Aaliyah grinned, and Maria barely kept her facade.
“I know things have been hard between us, but can we let go of the past and move forward? Forget about all the bad things and start afresh. Life is too short to hold grudges. Don’t you think so?” Maria asked.
“You are right,” Aaliyah smiled before keeping the bottle aside, and Maria hugged her.
Maria changed Aaliyah’s bottle again, thinking Aaliyah was stupid to fall for the same trick twice.
“I would’ve accompanied you for a while longer, but I need to see to it that the party goes smoothly,” Maria walked away, and Aaliyah looked at the bottle before exchanging it with a new one.
She found an empty room and walked to the balcony with a sigh, closing her eyes as she thought about what Dominic might be doing.
It was his birthday in a couple of days. Aaliyah was excited and wanted to celebrate it with him, but she was still uncertain about the gift she should give him.
Her attraction to Dominic felt like the attraction of a moth to flames. In this case, the flames were imaginary, and she was sure this powerful flame would protect rather than destroy her.
Looking at her phone, she dialed Dominic’s number, wanting to hear his cold and melodious voice.
“Aaliyah, I see you are enjoying your time. Can I accompany you? Maybe my presence will make you feel good,” She heard Alex’s voice slurred, and she stuffed her phone in her pocket.
There was no need for her to keep the facade anymore. And it looks like Alex was quite drunk to remember anything. Well, he will remember anything if he stays alive. The dark side of her said before she shook her head.
“Alex. What are you doing here? Trying to take advantage of my loneliness again?” Aaliyah’s question startled Alex as she glared at him.
“Wh-what do you mean? To take advantage of loneliness? Are you drunk by any chance?” Alex stuttered and coughed before he tried to take a step back.
“Oh no, sweety. I am not drunk. I was drunk when you tried to take advantage of me. What were your words? All girls deny it at first, but when you start forcing yourself, we demand more?” Aaliyah walked before standing at the entrance of the balcony so that he couldn’t leave.
“I didn’t say anything like that. And if you were suspicious of me, why did you act like you didn’t remember anything?” Alex asked, even though he felt like he knew the answer.
“Well, what do you think?” Aaliyah quirked her brow.
“You want to collect evidence against me? What the – seriously? You thought you would be able to do something about it? Hahahahah… Don’t you think too big of yourself?” Alex smirked before his smile turned so wide that it started to look ugly.
“You know what? If you want to collect evidence, I think I should give you a better thing,” Alex said before his approachable eyes became void of emotions.
Loosening his tie, Alex rolled his sleeves before walking towards Aaliyah.
Though Aaliyah learned kickboxing, Alex’s strength was no joke either. He was the leading athlete of the school’s baseball team, and as he pounced on her, Aaliyah widened her eyes as she stumbled, her back hitting the wall.
Meanwhile, Dominic, who had picked up the phone on the first ring, heard the sound in the background and couldn’t help but sigh as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
After a few minutes of struggling under Alex, when Aaliyah realized that things were working, her anger started to take over.
“How dare you touch me! I will show you what it feels like to be humiliated!” Aaliyah growled in anger, taking out her dagger, shocking Alex as he had never pegged her to be someone who would carry a dagger around like it was nothing.
“Woah, what the hell? Did you come here with the intent of killing me? Is that a real dagger in your hand? I am not even that drunk,” Alex rubbed his eyes, and seeing the opportunity, Aaliyah was about to attack him when someone held her hand from behind.
“Let’s not be so reckless, my love,” She heard Dominic whisper before she was pulled out of the balcony.
Meanwhile, Alex, who opened his eyes, widened them when he didn’t see Aaliyah in front of him anymore. What was this? Was what he saw just now all his illusion? He looked around before scratching the back of his head.
“Alex? There you are! You incompetent scoundrel! I gave you a perfect opportunity the second time, and you ruined it again! I told you to take Aaliyah somewhere and shit her mouth forever, didn’t I?”
Maria slapped Alex to help him gain some sense, but Alex felt deeply insulted.
“Maria! That’s enough! How dare you slap me? Do you want me to show you what I am capable of?” Alec pounced on Maria, making her widen her eyes as he practically pulled her inside the room before locking the door.
“Alex! Are you out of your mind? What the hell are you doing?” Maria screeched in horror as she recognized the look on his face.
“What am I doing? I am showing you your place. I have been taking your crap for some time only because you were helping me get to Aaliyah, but you thought you were above me? I will show you who is on the above list. You wanted me to teach Aaliyah a lesson to shut her mouth, no? Well, let me practice it by taming you first,” Alex threw Maria on the bed before tearing off her dress, and Maria shook her head in horror.
“No, please. Don’t do it. I am sorry. It was my fault. I will never look down on you,” Maria crossed her arms in front of her chest, but Alex was like an untamed wounded beast whose pride was deeply hurt.
Seeing there was no way out, Maria stopped struggling before she opened her legs willingly. It would hurt more if she struggled, no? Maria sighed with grief, and Alex didn’t stop at anything until he forced himself inside her.
Doing Maria again and again, he sat beside her once he was done with her.
“You better remember this lesson for the rest of your life. Since I have practiced enough, I think it should be okay to do it with Aaliyah now,” Alex cracked his neck before falling asleep beside Maria, who shrieked in humiliation and anger.
“Aaliyah Gold! This is all because of you! I suffered today because of you. If you hadn’t become a thorn in my life, I would have never stooped so low. I will see to it that you are ruined,” Maria screamed before looking at Alec, who had no consciousness.
“Dominic, why did you bring me -” Aaliyah couldn’t complete her words when Dominic kissed her roughly, leaving her breathless as it was hard to breathe when he was kissing her so urgently and passionately.
Taking a deep breath as they panted while looking into each other’s eyes, Dominic placed his forehead on hers.
“Thank God I came here in time. What were you doing, Aaliyah? Did you want to become a murderer? Was this your plan when you said you wanted to come? If you wanted him dead, all you had to do was mention it once,”
If Aaliyah was feeling any anger because of how he pulled her, all of it dissipated when she heard his words.
“Will you kill anyone for me?” She held his shirt.
“Without a doubt,”
“How did you even come here so fast? Were you in the area?” Aaliyah asked.
“No. I was already coming here. I had to come here to see if my student is doing some naughty stuff,” He bent to whisper in her ears. “So that I can spank her for her naughtiness,”
Dominic completed his words, and before Aaliyah could ask if he was being for real, Dominic slapped her bum, making her gasp, not because she was shocked that he did it, but because of how good it felt.
“Take me back to your place,” Aaliyah whispered, and he was more than happy to comply.
