Chapter-25 A little kiss won’t hurt

Book:Mr. Volkov's Obsession Published:2024-10-15

“I want to ride a bike,”
“At this time?”
“Hmm, it helps me clear my mind,” Aaliyah slurred, and Volkov hummed.
“But it doesn’t matter. Where will I get a bike in this region? And I am drunk too,” Aaliyah scoffed before taking another sip from the water bottle, making it look like she was drinking some kind of alcohol again.
“Go easy with the water, will you?” Volkov wiped her lips with his thumb before licking his thumb and dialing a number.
“Hello, can I get a bike near Park Avenue street? Yes, I will pay by the hour. Okay,” Volkov ended the call, and Aaliyah looked at him, confused.
“What are you doing?” She asked.
“Didn’t you want to ride a bike?” Volkov took off his jacket and helped her into it.
“Hmm, will you come with me, Mr. Volkov?” Aaliyah grabbed his collar to stop herself from swaying, and Volkov sighed before gently removing her hands and looking into her eyes.
“Wear it,” Volkov put the mask on her face before using one himself.
“I feel like we are doing something illegal,” Aaliyah giggled, and Volkov smiled seeing her happy expression.
“Let’s walk till the bike is here, okay?” Volkov said when he realized she had no intentions of getting inside the car.
Though he was wearing a mask, this party still contained all his students. Losing his job was the least of his concerns since he was never serious about it anyways.
The only reason he got this job was for Aaliyah, and seeing how they were becoming close, it won’t be a problem if he happens to lose his job the next day, but it wasn’t the same case for Aaliyah. She needed to get her degree, which still had eight months, and getting her into a scandal and ruining her image was the last thing he wanted to do.
“Do you enjoy parties a lot, Aaliyah?” Volkov started a conversation after some time, and Aaliyah sighed before shaking her head in denial.
“I hate them. I don’t like drinking alcohol, and it has nothing to do with how I can’t handle it. I just don’t like it. Every time I have gone to a party, either in clubs or high-profile gatherings, it’s all because I was forced,” Aaliyah sighed, and Volkov smiled.
“What kind of girl do you like, Mr. Volkov?” Aaliyah asked out of a sudden, and Volkov raised his brows, not at all expecting it.
What kind of girl does he like? Honestly, he does not know it himself. All he knew was that Aaliyah was exactly the type of girl he likes.
There was this one time when Shane had asked him this question too, and at that time, he had gotten over the topic by telling him that someone, who could protect him and is a mixture of shyness and strength is his type.
His friends had said that he was describing a non-existent girl because there was no way there was someone who was on par with his skills around them, but then he found Aaliyah.
The one thing about Aaliyah that has always intrigued him is how pure she looks, even after what she does. Her smile had hidden lots of pain behind it, and he had understood it long ago.
“Mr. Volkov, let’s go to the swings, please,” Aaliyah said when she spotted a park, and Volkov looked at the childish girl before nodding slightly.
“You are the best,” She said before kissing his cheeks, shocking him. And before he could react, Aaliyah was already running toward the swings, making him sigh.
This girl seriously knows how to tease people, doesn’t she? Volkov walked behind the swing before pushing it slightly to help her enjoy it, Aaliyah’s laughter sounding like music to his ear.
“Mr. Volkov, dance with me like you danced at Samantha’s house, will you?” Aaliyah jumped from the swing, and Volkov looked at her with a sigh.
She was doing all this because she was drunk right now. He was sure she would forget all about it first thing in the morning, and he hated the thought of it.
He wanted all of this to happen in real life. He wanted Aaliyah to make such demands from him when she was sober and not drunk like this. However, this was also a sign that he was making progress with her.
At least she felt trusting enough to be her true self with him. Volkov smiled, his gaze holding an emotion that he himself was unaware of.
“Will you?” Aaliyah asked again, standing close to him, looking at him with curiosity, and Volkov took out his phone before playing a song, pulling her closer to himself.
“Like this?” Volkov teased her as he rubbed his hand on her back up and down, and Aaliyah felt a shiver run down her spine, in a good way this time.
Stepping closer to him, Aaliyah grabbed his chin just like he keeps doing to her, making him raise his eyebrows at her.
“Mmmhh, like this,” she pressed herself close to him, and Volkov gulped at her teasing.
He thought he could have fun teasing her, but he didn’t know the drunk Aaliyah would become this fearless.
“Aaliyah, you are not -” Volkov started, but Aaliyah placed her finger on his lips, stopping him from saying whatever he wanted to.
“Let’s enjoy this moment right now and think about the future in the future,” Aaliyah said before she started swaying her hips, turning around as she grinded on Volkov a little.
It was taking everything in Volkov to not pull her hair and bite her neck like he was dying to do.
This wasn’t good. Aaliyah wasn’t sober and didn’t know what was going on, so he can’t blame her, but he was sober. and whatever happening wasn’t good for his little soldier down there, who started to make his presence known.
“Enjoy your ride,” The man who dropped the bike said as he looked at the masked couple in front of him, and Volkov nodded before sitting on it.
“Come on, hop on it,” Volkov looked at Aaliyah, and for some reason, Aaliyah felt her heart melt at his gesture.
He is so sweet doing everything she is demanding.
“I want to ride it,”
“Come sit in front of me. If something happens, I will control it,” Volkov said, and as Aaliyah sat on the bike, she realized how close they really were. His chest was touching her back with his hands on her on the handle, and she closed her eyes for a second to let go of her emotions. She could feel his breath fanning her neck, and it was irking him how she wanted him to kiss her neck like he had done at Samantha’s house, or that was what she thought it was.
“Are you ready?” She asked, and Volkov hummed in her ear, making her smile.
“Let’s go,”
Placing his hand on her stomach gently, Volkov smiled, feeling relaxed, carefree, and happy after a really long time.
Now that he thinks about it, maybe it’s one of the reasons he feels attracted to her. Whenever his mind feels like a mess or he is angry, she has a way of making him feel good, and it’s happening a hell lot more these days than ever before. She was bringing out the good in him. She doesn’t know about it, but she almost saved a man’s life today.
“Hold tight, Mr. Volkov,” Aaliyah shouted before accelerating more, and even though it was very dangerous, Volkov didn’t say anything as Aaliyah sped towards the mountains.
“Are you enjoying it?” He spoke after some time, and Aaliyah made a swift turn, chuckling softly when Volkov’s grip tightened on her, making him smile in return.
“Are you?”
“I am,”
“Me too,” Aaliyah sighed, enjoying the cool breeze before she stopped at the cliff.
Getting down from the bike, she walked towards the end before sitting with her legs dangling down.
Volkov copied and sat beside her, none of them saying anything as they looked ahead with their own thoughts and problems in mind.
“Thank you,” Aaliyah said, and Volkov turned to her before nodding.
“I am sorry for being like this with you, Aaliyah,” Volkov started his confession. He knew Aaliyah was drunk right now and probably would forget most of it till morning, so he could confess a little of what he had been carrying in his heart, right?
Wanting to tell her how he met her for the first time and she captured his heart or how he came here just to stalk her, Volkov was about to start speaking again when Aaliyah interrupted him.
“Why are you being like this with me, Mr. Volkov? Do you have any idea how confusing your actions are all the time? You act like you want me one-time, and then act like you are just teasing me the second time. You acted intimately with me at Samantha’s house, and then you teased me in the school. Is it fun messing with my mind?” Aaliyah asked in one go, and Volkov actually wanted to praise her for speaking her mind so effortlessly that he had been thinking of doing so for a long time.
“It’s okay. It’s good that these are just fantasies. I want to end them before they take an ugly turn. They were just my one-sided thoughts, and I would never force my emotions on anyone,’ Aaliyah spoke, and Volkov clenched his fist at her choice of words.
Meanwhile, Aaliyah looked at his blurry face as her mind felt in a haze again. It was like her mind was pulling her in and out of her drunk state.
‘I will never let anything turn ugly for you, Aaliyah. If I say you belong to me, you will get the best in the world. Be it love or anything you’ll ever desire,’ Volkov wanted to say to her but stopped himself when he realized the meaning behind his words.
Was he really that serious about her? What were these emotions he was feeling for her? They weren’t just attraction or infatuation. Feeling agitated with his raging emotions, Volkov dug his nails into his palm and was about to stand when Aaliyah did the most unexpected thing.
She turned around and placed her lips on his gently.
“I will let go of those thoughts now,” she spoke, her lips still on his. It looks like she was still not sober, and as much as Volkov wanted to enjoy her soft lips, he didn’t want to do it when she was drunk like this.
He was about to gently pull her away from himself, but as soon as he placed his hands on her shoulders, she bit his lower lip, deepening the kiss, her soft groan igniting a fire in him.
She moved her lips on his softly, like rose petals rubbing against skin, before she increased her force and pushed him back as if trying to pour her frustration, anger, and annoyance into the kiss. This time Volkov didn’t contain his emotions and opened his mouth slowly, letting her enter.
One kiss won’t hurt anyone, right?
Grabbing a fistful of her hair, Volkov tilted her head before moving his lips against her passionately. Pulling themselves away from the edge of the cliff, Volkov lifted her gently, making her sit on his lap with her legs on each side as he kissed her with a hungry desire that even he didn’t know he had inside him.
Biting, sucking her lower lip, Volkov felt like losing his control when she suddenly moaned.
“Mmm,” She raked her hands through his hair, pressing her lower body on his, and he felt aroused beyond the limit.
If he was hungry for her, Aaliyah’s assault was no joke on him. If he hadn’t known how inexperienced she was, he would have thought she was some skillful kisser and was trying to lure him into s*x.
Clenching her hand against his chest, she ripped the buttons off his shirt, and Volkov raised his brows at her.
After what felt like an eternity, she finally pulled away before smiling at him with the most angelic smile.
Pinching his cheeks softly, Aaliyah giggled.
“Even if this is just a dream, it feels so real. You are really tasty, Mr. Volkov. It’s so sad you are such a mean man,” Aaliyah spoke, and Volkov, whose eyes had turned a shade darker with lust as his soldier ached to let out, felt like growling at her when he realized she thought it was her dream.
If she wasn’t drunk like this and they were not in the wild, he would’ve really shown her if this was a dream or not. Volkov stood with her in his arms before placing her on the bike so that she was facing him while he started the bike.
“So much for a fun-relaxing ride,” Volkov grumbled when he looked at the tent on his jeans and ripped-open shirt.
‘You are messing with fire, Aaliyah. And you will pay the price for it. Your time starts now,’ Volkov smirked at the naughty thoughts in his mind.
At least this ride proved one thing. She wanted him as much as he wanted her, and now that he knows this, there was no turning back on this ride. This was a one-way road. And even if it was the road of destruction, he was ready for it.
