“Who is he?” Aaliyah asked before gritting her teeth.
“I will not repeat my question, Katherine. The more you delay, the more painful his time with me will become,” Aaliyah said, and Katherine looked away, a rogue tear rolling down her eyes.
Seeing her sister devastated like this, Aaliyah clenched her fists before standing.
“Fine. If you are not telling me the truth, I guess I will have to beat every single man present there, starting with that producer. Don’t come to me crying afterward if you lose a show or two because of their sudden death. ” Aaliyah stood before she rushed to her room.
Katherine thought her sister was just angry and would calm down after a good sleep, but she didn’t expect Aaliyah to come down with her dagger and gun in her hand, which Laura didn’t know about.
“Aaliyah!” Katherine slurred, horrified, trying her best to not trip on the carpet.
“Katherine, stay out of it now. Do you think I will let those men live happily after they put you through these miseries? A bruise for a bruise and humiliation for humiliation.,” Aaliyah’s eyes blazed with a fire that Katherine didn’t want to mess with.
“What pub?” Aaliyah asked while looking at the time. They must still be there.
“Cosmic Nights. Mason and his group,” Katherine spoke, and Aaliyah walked out of the house.
Usually, she would’ve called Ashton for this kind of work, but she already made him go through a risky task today, and she didn’t want to make him feel she was using him for her benefit.
Starting Katherine’s car, Aaliyah put on her mask before zipping her leather jacket. She was covered from head to toe so that no one recognized her.
Meanwhile, Katherine was having a mental breakdown because she knew she messed up big time by telling Aaliyah and letting her go. Not being able to figure out what she should do, Katherine dialed Bryce’s number.
“Hey, my love. To what honor do I owe a call at this time of day?” Bryce said as he placed his gun on the table, and his friends raised their brows at his soft voice.
“Bryce, help me,” Katherine wept, and hearing her soft whimpering, Bryce, who had a smile on his face, immediately became serious and picked up his gun again before walking out of his house. He didn’t know what it was, but he wanted to be there for her, no matter if it was a small or big thing. He knew Katherine wasn’t like other girls who would fuss over small things. That’s what he liked most about her. She was a strong girl.
And for her to cry like this, it only meant the matters were big enough for him to go there and solve it.
“Where are you? I am coming.” Bryce didn’t ask anything, and Katherine shook her head.
“It’s not me. It’s my sister. She has left home in anger,” Katherine’s words were barely making sense because of her sniffing, but Bryce still heard her clearly and halted in his steps.
What did her sister have to do with him? And if it’s about Aaliyah, should he call Volkov? He was sure Volkov would love to handle Aaliyah and become a knight in shining armor. Bryce’s thoughts were interrupted when Katherine started speaking again.
“She left because of me,” Katherine said before telling everything that happened in the pub, including how Mason had her cornered and touched her inappropriate places, and the more Bryce heard her story, the angrier he got.
“You should’ve called me first rather than telling it to your sister. I would’ve handled the matter, and she wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of dealing with those jerks,” Bryce said before sitting in his car.
“What do you mean?” Katherine asked.
“I mean, do you think I would let those men live after what they put you through? How dare they touch what belongs to me? How dare they make my love cry? I will dismember their hands with my bare hands,” Bryce growled, and Katherine looked at her phone, shocked that she was hearing things right or not.
What the hell? She wanted Bryce to go and bring her sister out of there without creating a mess. Why does she feel like now her sister and boyfriend are going to kill those men together?
“Bring her out of there safe,” Katherine could only mumble at the end, and Bryce nodded.
“Don’t worry, sweetheart. Nothing will happen to her. She has too many people who would kill for her,” Bryce’s words confused Katherine, but before she could ask the meaning behind his words, the call disconnected, making her sigh.
She was itching to call her aunt Lily, but she was unsure if that would help her or make matters worse. Aunt Lily was protective of them to a level where she would rather give up her high-profile job and become a murderer. So there were high chances that things would get even messier.
It looks like, right now, no one can control Aaliyah and bring her out of there without doing something stupid, which might be supported by her boyfriend too.
In the Cosmic Nights club, Aaliyah parked her car in the bushes at some distance before walking towards the main doors.
“Miss, your ID,” the bouncer said, and Aaliyah, who was about to enter, took a step back before tilting her head and looking at them.
“Will this suffice?” Aaliyah took out her special eagle keychain hidden inside a normal-looking Eagle keychain, and the guys widened their eyes before nodding in respect, making her nod and enter the club.
This was something that no one knew about apart from her dad. In front of everyone, he always protected her from becoming one of them because he didn’t want to hurt Laura’s feelings. However, he recognized Aaliyah’s talent way too long ago, and that’s why he trained her in all the combats that Aaliyah could.
This keychain was a gift from her dad on her fifteenth birthday. Only a few people know about the meaning behind this key chain. Even the prominent gangs and police officers were unaware of its meaning, but they widely spread the news that the eagles can’t be messed with.
There were only 7 key chains in total. How her dad got his hand on one of them was a secret that Aaliyah didn’t know either, but she was honored to get such a sacred gift nonetheless.
Walking inside the club, Aaliyah’s demeanor immediately turned from her usual jolly self to what she was famous for in her family. The reason her mother was always worried about her.
“Where are the actors Mason and his group?” Aaliyah stopped the server, who looked her up and down.
“Who are you? Do you think just anyone can know about their location? Look, this is a VIP club, and if you think we would allow random people to enter here and seduce our VIP clients, then you are -” the rest of the waitress’ words stuck in her mouth when Aaliyah placed her gun on her plate, making her tremble with fear.
“Room no-4,” she said, and Aaliyah nodded before picking back her gun and casually playing with it.
What the hell? That was close? I have never seen a female gangster or murderer ever before. Is there going to be a murder in this pub? Should I call the manager? The waitress rushed to the back room where the manager could be.
Opening the door to the room that the server said, Aaliyah looked at the bunch of jerks who were probably with Mason.
“Who is Mason?” Aaliyah asked, and the guys, who were busy with the girls, looked at her with interest.
“Hey, we have a new chick here. But why does she look like a bad woman, dressed from head to toe like this,”
“Is this some kind of cosplay?”
“It will be fun unraveling her,”
The guys started speaking one after the other, and Aaliyah scoffed in her head.
“I will not repeat my words,” Aaliyah said with a smile before taking out her gun. The guys immediately became sober when they looked at the gun with a silencer before sitting straight.
“He is Mason,” one guy said with a trembling voice, and Aaliyah looked at the guy sitting with a calm look.
“What is this? You are not even that good-looking. Is that why you go around forcing yourself on girls who are new to this industry? You can’t get a good chick to bang this ugly face?” Aaliyah mocked him, and the others looked at her in fear.
This was the first time some chick had the guts to call him like that. Everyone usually goes along with him because he has connections in politics.
“There could hardly be anything that would scare a scum like you, no? After all, you are well versed in boot-licking with higher-ups who come straight away to help you,” Aaliyah walked to him, and the girls who were all over him rushed away in fear of losing their life.
“What do you want from me? I am sure I never met you. I don’t forget beauties like you,” Mason said, and Aaliyah wanted to chuckle at him.
He was still trying to win his game by flirting? Just what kind of connections does he exactly have for him to behave so confidently? Aaliyah thought, and as she was distracted, one guy attacked her from behind, making her gun fall from her hands, and Mason was quick to kick it away from her, making her laugh out loud as she bent before turning and kicking the man away from her.
Seeing the gun near the door, Aaliyah rolled her eyes before throwing an empty bottle at the man who was trying to get to the gun.
“I hate it when people touch what’s mine. Why did you have to interrupt my conversation?” Aaliyah said before knocking out another guy.
Picking a few more bottles, she threw them at others one by one, kicking and punching them to get this over with. Those were just pawns that she needed to get rid of quickly. Her fight wasn’t with them.
Once she was done with everyone, she looked at the guys on the ground, who were groaning and moaning in pain.
“What the hell? Who are you?” One of them asked, and Aaliyah scoffed before looking at Mason, the only guy she hadn’t touched since the beginning.
“What do you want from me? Are you here to extort money? How much do you want? Is it about getting a role in any film? A new project? Do you want to debut?” Mason asked, and Aaliyah smiled deviously.
Gripping his chin, she smiled before intertwining her fingers with his. Mason thought he was finally getting a hold of her since he mentioned money and those other things, but Aaliyah smirked before twisting his hand, breaking it from elbows, making him scream in pain as he rolled over.
‘Such a wuss. The least he could do was try to protect himself. Does he rely on the power of money?’ Aaliyah sighed before bending in front of him. She pushed him behind before holding his leg and then twisting it, making him scream again.
“I am not here to extort money. I am here to tell you that you messed with the wrong people this time. This gun is a fake that I brought for you to tell you that I am going to short and put a big hole into your acting career. Don’t forget to watch the news tomorrow,” Aaliyah spoke before she threw one last look at him.
Taking out money from her wallet, she threw it on the table. “Get yourself treated,” Aaliyah paused before pouting.
“I couldn’t make use of my dagger. How pitiful,” Aaliyah took out her dagger before she cut Mason’s wrist, making him whimper as he tried to scoot away from her, his face a depiction of pure horror.
Walking out of the room, Aaliyah went the other way, and Bryce, who entered the club and rushed to the room where Mason and his group were, squinted his brows when he saw a crowd forming out of the door.
“What is happening here?” Bryce asked one of the servers.
“We are not sure. One of the servers said she saw a girl going inside. The girls attending to the guests inside the room came out after five minutes, screaming for help. Within 5 minutes, they ended up like this. No one has a clue about who the girl was,” The waiter said, and Bryce looked at the men, who were brought out of the room on the stretcher one by one.
He looked at their wounded state and couldn’t help but wonder who was so skilled to do something like this in just 5 minutes. There were around 7 men, including Mason.
Katherine had said that Aaliyah was also coming here. Where is she? Did she leave already?
Bryce walked away, feeling helpless that he couldn’t beat these people himself. As he walked out of the club, thinking about who it could be, he paused in his steps.
That girl who did all this couldn’t be Aaliyah, right? He thought before dialing Volkov’s number.
“Volkov, I think Aaliyah is far more than what we think she is,” Bryce said the first thing, and Volkov, who was feeding his cat, sighed loudly.
What the hell did she do now?
