Clarissa:
I was in the living room with the kids. My mind was far and I was ignoring the bickering from
Ethan and Elsa.
My thoughts were dominated by Lorenzo. Ever since he left, I couldn’t stop thinking about him,
thinking about how he cornered me in the room, thinking about how he warmed my lips with his.
A voice suddenly jabbed at me in my head.
“Why are you thinking about him? He probably just used you to get a little relief. Erica hasn’t
allowed him to touch her ever since they got engaged. He just wanted to let off steam with you.”
The gnawing reality dampened my feelings for him. Maybe I was being stupid. It prob wasn’t
worth it.
But still, I had never felt anyone touch me like that. I felt wanted and needed. I felt this
connection to him and his…
“Miss Clarissa!”
My thoughts were interrupted by Elsa screaming at the top of her lungs.
I sat up and saw her struggling with Ethan over a toy.
“Ethan has my toy. I wanna play with it. I already gave him a turn!”
I rolled my eyes and stormed towards them. They have been a pain in my side ever since their
mother left.
As I thought about Erica, I felt my nose scrunch up in disgust. I hated her. She looked so entitled
and she acted the same.
I grabbed the toy and put it away. If they weren’t going to play nicely with their toys then there
was no need for them to have it.
I put the toy in the toy box and I saw Elsa’s lip quiver angrily. Ethan was pouting but I ignored
both of them.
“Miss Clarissa, I’m hungry.”
Elma had been sitting by herself and was staring at the TV. She hadn’t made a peep since her
mother left.
She looked at me with her puppy dog eyes and I rolled my eyes in frustration. Sometimes staying
with them was a nightmare and today was one of them.
“Alright. I’ll make you something to eat.”
Immediately, they all protested.
“Nooooo!”
I was stunned by the unanimity. They could agree on what to eat but not on what toys to play
with. These triplets were a handful.
“Mummy said that she would buy us takeout. And that we should text what we want, to her.”
I took a deep breath. If that was the case, it was much better than cooking for the three of them.
I waited and they discussed and soon they told me they wanted chicken nuggets and Chinese
takeout.
I sent the text to Erica and relaxed in my chair. All we had to do was wait.
As I tried to relax, my phone rang again. I picked it up and expected it to be Erica but it was a
strange number that wasn’t saved on my phone. I was skeptical about answering it as my finger
hovered over the green button.
Finally, I made up my mind and picked up the call.
“Hello, who is this?”
A deep voice filled my ears and startled me.
“Clarissa, it’s me, Lorenzo. Don’t yell. Is Erica home?”
My heart was beating rapidly in my chest. Why is he calling me? I thought he had gone back to
the pack. And why was he asking me about Erica?
“No. She left on a little stroll.”
“Stand at the window in the kitchen and turn the lights on. Where are the kids?”
My heart was pounding even faster. What did he want me to do in the kitchen? What was going
on? I stole a glance at the kids and my mind was made up in seconds.
I walked to the kitchen and did as he said.
“The kids are in the living room. What is going on?”
“Open the back door and make sure the kids don’t hear you.”
“But…”
“Do it. Don’t question me.”
I gulped and stood outside. I looked around into the pitch-blackness. I couldn’t see anything. Was
he here? How? Why?
His voice trolled seductively over the phone
“Good girl. Now stay where you are and don’t scream.”
I looked around in fear. He was here. What was he doing here? I was…
A strong hand covered my mouth and my body went limp. I felt the air in my lungs being expelled
and my blood ran cold.
“I said that you shouldn’t scream. Relax. I will pull my hand away. Slowly.”
He pulled his hand away slowly and as soon as I locked eyes with him, my body began to tingle.
“Sir, I… What are you doing here?”
I tried to hide my blush but it was pointless. My fingers fidgeting nervously.
“Let’s go upstairs. We can’t talk here.”
I nodded nervously and led him inside. We crept in through the kitchen and were careful not to
disturb the kids. They were glued to the TV and their favorite show was on. It was the only thing
that could make them sit still.
We got upstairs to my room and as soon as I closed the door, Lorenzo grabbed me and pinned me
to the door.
His breath smelled of strong alcohol. His hair was a bit of a mess but he still looked handsome.
The way his eyes beared down on me made a shiver run down my spine.
“I want you, Clarissa.”
My cheeks burned even hotter.
“Lorenzo, I am…”
He planted a kiss on my lips and silenced me. I swooned at his taste. His mouth and tongue were
tinged with the taste of liquor. He tasted different but divine.
He finally pulled away from me and stroked my cheek with his fingers.
“I don’t want any words from you.”
His thumb grazed my lips softly while his eyes looked at them desperately.
“I want to hear you moan for me. Show me how good I make you feel.”
His hands ran up my thigh and my body tensed as he drew closer to my soaked bud; I had been
wet from thinking about him.
“I want to know how you taste, Clarissa. Let me…”
