There was this possessiveness that Dante was expressing in just two days of seeing me after 6
years and it got me shaking. He has to be joking, what does he mean by he doesn’t want to see
me around Lorenz.
When he divorced me to be with Laura he made it clear that I could be with anyone else.
I and Lorenzo returned home and the kids were fast asleep when we returned. Lorenzo had an
early morning flight so we had to go to bed immediately we got home and although I didn’t want
him to leave I had no other choice but to let him go because he had a meeting he needed to
attend.
“Thank you so much for being my support, Lorenzo.” I kissed him on his lips and gave him a tight
hug.
“Your welcome baby, good bye.” he kissed me on my forehead then walked away going into the
airport.
I had an early morning meeting with Dante and although I felt anxious as we drove to his office
because I didn’t want to see him I also had this urge to want to be around him.
I got to his office and was shown my Beta Robert.
I pushed the door open and met him, Dante was seated in his office and he was waiting for me.
“Glad you are here.” He stood from his chair, pulled open a chair and I sat down. I felt like I sat
right on a trap that I was aware of. I was not scared of him, I was somehow comfortable around
him, what I was scared of was what I would let him do to me because of the bond we shared .
“How was your night, Erica.” He walked to the mini bar in his office, took a glass of wine and
poured himself a glass of champagne.
“Can we get to business?” I wanted to leave his office before he did anything stupid to me.
“Erica. Why the rush?” He asked and sighed.
“Well if you want that, then let’s go right into business,” he muttered.
“The Gem that Hazan wants is with me, I’m sure you know this. What you don’t know is that only
a pure breed Female Alpha can touch it and you my dear Ex wife are one of the few pure breed
Alphas.”
“What about Pearl?”
“Pearl is a Lycan.” He replied sharply.
“So you do need me, Alpha King Dante?” I made sure the sarcasm in the tone of my statement
was audible.
“I need you to hide the Gem.” He replied, Dante twirled the chair I was sitting on so I faced him.
He lifted my chin up and he let our eyes meet.
“Not as much as you need me Erica.” He brushed his hand on my lips.
“You need my pack, you need me don’t you Erica. l he lowered his face and placed a soft kiss on
my lips and pulled away while I longed for more.
“Mine.” He groaned.
“Erica, I know that I had rejected you and you accepted but it was never accepted by the moon
goddess because, I can feel you, the mate bond is still there and your coming back had rekindled
it. I thought I lost you and now I know I didn’t, I want you back Erica.” He swallowed, I swallowed
too and stared into his eyes, his green eyes flickered.
“I want to be back in your life Erica.” he grabbed my lips without asking and I kissed him back
because I could not resist kissing him back. He picked me up from the chair and placed me on the
desk while I wrapped my hand around his neck.
“Your mine Erica, you were always mine and I do not like that you are engaged to him.” He trailed
kisses from my lips down to my neck.
He slowly started to undo the buttons of my shirt and I let him because I desired this man in front
of me. I let him have his way with him.
My fingers dug into his head full of thick black hair. I was shirtless in front of him, for the first time
in 6 years. Dante kissed me, he slowly began to undo my bra, he made it fall and stared at my
boobs with so much desire in his eyes.
“How on earth did I let you go, My wife.” Dante lowers his head to my chest, places his warm lips
on my nipple and begins to suck on it. Fuck! it never felt this good to have him.
“Mine.” His hand caressed my boobs. He was possessive about me and never failed to claim me.
“Let me love you.” At this point I realized that the desire my wolf had for our mate was causing
me to do this.
“No Dante. This is wrong.” I quickly got myself ready and made to leave his office while he stared
at me.
“I told you the mate bond was still there. You want me so bad, I can feel you getting hot, I can
smell your arousal.”
“Dante, please don’t make me do this. I love Lorenzo and want him in my life.”
“And I don’t want him in your life and I’ll go Lengths to make sure he doesn’t end up in your life.”
“You need me Dante, why don’t you let us work to bring down Hazan!”
“Erica, I don’t mind giving Hazan the gem.”
“What do you mean, you were against giving it to him.”
“So you think you’re the only pure breed Alpha? No. I will only help your pack if you belong to me
Erica. I don’t mind finding another pure breed Alpha to help me so I can give the gem to Hazan
and trust me he’ll destroy us all. I don’t mind dying just for you, my love.” He laughed
sarcastically.
“I can help you fight Hazan, Erica. All I want this time around is all of you. I don’t want you with
Lorenzo, because you are mine.”
“You’re a Psychopath!”
“I know.” He laughed.
