Priscilla dragged Victore into her room and threw him towards her bed. She closed the door behind her back and lay down on it.
-Talk, tell everything,- she demanded with a frown.
At the wolf’s change of attitude Victore blinked and began to laugh, dropping onto the bed and holding her stomach. Pris on the other hand didn’t understand what was so funny. She didn’t see the humor in the whole thing around her.
-Pris- Victore sat up and wiped away a tear- Don’t worry, I’ll answer anything you want but first it would be better if she changed her clothes. If by any chance my alpha happens to pass by and sees you in those facades and with me sitting here, no matter how much I smell like him, he’ll think the wrong things and castrate me, and I like sex too much to lose my beautiful little friends down there-
The obscene way the wolf said that made Priscila uncomfortable and after checking herself up and down and wanting to think she wasn’t blushing she walked towards the bathroom.
-If I come out and you’re not there, I’ll look for you anywhere in the pack and you’ll give me an answer,- she said before entering.
Victore brushed her platinum hair back and smiled.
-The Princess is quite demanding but I like her,- he teased and lay back on the bed until she finished doing what she had to do, remembering the night before.
He’d had a hard time getting Kei drunk and getting her to open her mouth. She wasn’t a moron to know the wolf liked her but the fucker hadn’t just declared it to her. And he was sadistic enough to say something and break up the fun so far. He loved watching Kei’s always cold face melt into a grimace of worry and embarrassment before him.
He let out a laugh. His handsome appearance was really a screen, but he was sure someone like Priscilla would understand. Being the son of an omega and incidentally being so beautiful and delicate was not a positive thing where what ruled was the prototypical big strong male wolf. Something that only female wolves were looking for. Perhaps it was because of such rejection that he also liked males.
Or maybe it was since he had met Kei.
The door opened. That had been quick.
Priscilla came out drying her hair and without any clothes on with her body still damp. Victore sat down and laid his head on his hand.
-You really aren’t worried about my alpha killing me are you princess?
Priscilla looked over her shoulder at him as she opened the closet.
-It’s not like you’re going to attack me since you don’t like my body,- she grabbed a pair of pants and a short baggy blouse and put them on calmly.
Then she plopped down on the armchair in front of the bed drying her hair.
-You can talk now.
Victore smiled.
-First ask, I’ll answer.
-In that case we go from the simplest to the most difficult,- he wanted to leave the most dense for the end because he knew there would be more questions than he was already asking himself, -What is your relationship with Kei? I don’t want you to hurt him.
Victore’s expression became a little somber.
-I don’t think that’s any of the business of a puppy like you who barely knows him- she raised her hand before Priscilla interrupted- But just so he’s calm, I know he’s in love with me and wants me to be his mate. I can’t read minds like you but I can enter other people’s dreams from time to time and yes, I’ve seen him and everything he wants to do to me- he licked his lips- I… reciprocate him, I’m just having a little fun at the moment-
-Is that why you sleep with him when you get him drunk?
Victore bowed his head.
-A virgin puppy wouldn’t understand but there are times when love can be so toxic that it hurts and even more if you get carried away. I like Kei a lot and of course I have my sexual urges and who better than him to appease them, haven’t you seen that body and he’s really good and tender in bed. But until he tells me with his own lips that he wants me in his life, I’m not going to let him touch me like he should in all his right mind. If he hasn’t, it means he’s not really not aware of his feelings.
-You’re really hard on him.- Priscilla disagreed but she was no one to have a say in their lives.
-Life is hard, precious, you’ve only lived a short life so he still has a lot to learn.
-Don’t keep treating me like a puppy, Victore,- Priscilla crossed her legs.
-Victore smiled and the she-wolf knew that despite her innocent appearance, her personality was completely different.
-Second. You are the son of an omega just like me, are you an omega?
Victore denied.
-Queen Nebraka is an omega but none of her children are omega, not even you are omega despite your powers. And maybe it was for the best. I wasn’t born omega but where I was born everyone knew where I came from and kind of wanted to force me, if you know what I mean. I was even betrayed, so I ran away once my mother died. I had no other family so I left nothing behind. My alpha was the one who took me in and kept my abilities a secret. My mind is strong so no one can access it and I can read other people’s dreams instead.
-But you read my mind a while ago.
Victore’s eyes sparkled and he leaned forward taking her hand.
-Maybe it’s because of the connection but for some reason I can access your conscious mind, it must be because of how strong it is and because since it wanted to enter mine you left a bridge between us. That felt so intimate-
-Do you flirt with everyone like that?
Victore let out a loud laugh and let it out.
-I’m sorry, it’s just so much fun to tease him, his face is beautiful but he doesn’t flinch at anything. I wanted to see some reaction but nothing at all.
It was the first time someone made fun of her simply for being so serious, so she pretended to smile so she was puzzled. She closed her eyes and continued, now she saw the most dense part.
-Layan- she said the name and Victore stopped laughing- Why her wild and rational part is separated. It’s not a normal thing-
The wolf scratched his cheek trying to find an easy way to say the next thing.
-As you will see, this is a delicate thing but since from what I see the wild part of our alpha is interested in you I shouldn’t keep it to myself. Just don’t say that I mentioned it- he put his finger on his mouth as if keeping silent- Let’s see I don’t know how the matter is in detail but from what I heard from his father Hades, it’s from when he was a puppy. Layan couldn’t control his wild side when he was a child so they didn’t fuse properly-.
Priscilla blinked slowly. They were wolves. The first few years of life were the most important in their development where they developed their instincts and their personality was formed. She never had trouble mastering her wild side which was the one that told her when to kill and hunt, but there were always exceptions.
-The wild part of Layan is really strong but her rational part is also strong so although they live together most of the time and even seem to be one, there are times when they separate like now. From what Kei told me, the alpha rejects her but from what I saw his wild side wants to claim her. It’s been a while since something like that has happened.
-Is that bad?
-Well, let’s say it is in a way. The wild part of our alpha is WILD in every way, if by any chance one of us came in when he is, for example, touching or kissing her, he could rip our throats out just to mark the ground and show that you are his–.
-I didn’t know it could be so bad- Priscila remained thoughtful, that’s why he was so insistent at night with her and didn’t listen to her.
-The rational part of the alpha that gets to be nice is the one that puts the brakes on him, and he’s not so aggressive or territorial. Together they are strong and lethal, but apart they are weak. Another thing and it is something that few know and that is that the few times I have seen the wild part of the alpha is when he is in heat. I have known that the alpha Hades has strong jealousy but in the case of our alpha he desires blood and to tear what is put in front of him, so he sends himself to be chained because his rational part is completely annulled.
Priscilla could feel how a drop crossed her back and she didn’t know if it was sweat or the humidity of her hair. Layan, that wolf she claimed… she knew nothing about him. And if by chance, she who was about to go into heat, stimulated his heat, what could happen? It was a possibility. He could deal with the situation.
She lowered her head and remained pensive until she felt Victore’s hand on her head.
-Don’t think too hard. I know it’s a complicated thing to process but if you get nervous in front of him it will be worse. Pretend I didn’t say anything, okay? The alpha seems fine with you and his wild side likes you. I think you are the key to helping him with his big little problem- and with those words Victore walked away leaving Priscila with the world of heads.
She got up and walked to the window opening it, she needed some fresh air. The wind ruffled her damp hair but the fragrance of someone else reached her and she looked down. She found Leila, it had been days since their paths had crossed or they were avoiding each other, one of two, which left her wondering if she was falling for the she-wolf since all this time it was Liam who was controlling her. But… she leaned further forward on the edge.
Why was she with that wolf?
Her eyes focused on who was next to her. If she wasn’t mistaken it was Antoin, the brother of the puppy who had knocked her down twice. What a coincidence that it was precisely him who was with Leila? Her mind kept imagining things, after all that wolf seemed suspicious to her if only Layan hadn’t interrupted her that day.
She saw them get lost in the foliage towards the forest. She cursed but it was then that she realized she had run too far forward and her hand slipped from the window frame. He was going to fall from that height. Ohhh, that was going to hurt.
An arm suddenly wrapped around her waist and pulled her back and the ceiling of her room was in front of her instead of the floor. She let out a sigh. She hated the smell, but she liked the smell of the body enveloping her.
-Good morning… Layan-
