Chapter 547 Gabriel is a magical child

Enrico stood up, casually opened the door of a taxi, picked up the little guy and threw him in, then got in himself.
“Go to the hotel closest to the Lautners family’s main entrance,” Enrico said.
The taxi drove off, kicking up dust.
Before the dust had settled, three luxury cars arrived at the dock square.
The cars stopped on the curb.
The doors were pushed open, and a group of men dressed in black suits rushed out of the cars. They looked serious, spread out, looking around, as if they were looking for something.
The spectacle was so grand that passers-by turned to stare.
A middle-aged woman dressed casually but unusually stumbled out of the car, her eyes red and her face full of worry. She hurriedly ran down the steps, almost tripping and falling.
The bodyguard next to her reached out to help her, “Olivia, be careful.”
The middle-aged woman was Olivia, who had stayed at the border to take care of Gabriel for Paige.
“What’s the matter? Did you find him?” Olivia was so anxious that tears were rolling down her face. ‘I was told that the taxi driver said he took him here. Where is he? I don’t see him anywhere.’
“We’re looking for him, Olivia. Please don’t worry,” the bodyguard said, trying to calm her down.
“Why shouldn’t I worry? This is all my fault! This is all my fault!” Olivia was so anxious that she kept slapping her thighs. She looked around the dock, hopeless and at a loss.
It all started with Gabriel’s education.
Gabriel is the son of Paige and Enrico.
His mother is a woman of great intelligence who never forgets a face, and his father has the strong genes of the Davis family.
On the one hand, there is the AS schizophrenia gene, and on the other, there is natural talent. In theory, the combination of these two should produce a child of the highest quality, and that was indeed the case. The little guy was beautiful and adorable, with a smart look in his face. He could talk before he could walk, and his little mouth was especially good at coaxing people.
But then something went wrong.
Gabriel could talk very well, but he still couldn’t walk. No matter how much they tried, he just wouldn’t walk.
Paige was also very worried at that time, so she took her son to the doctor. The doctor concluded that everything was normal, and the reason for this was simply that he didn’t want to walk.
After that, Paige felt relieved, but Olivia became even more anxious.
She thought, yes, this child has been lazy since birth. Other babies were born crying loudly, but he was born yawning and continued to sleep. He only cried two times after his bottom was red from being spanked.
After that, the little guy never tired of moving his big eyes and small mouth. He hated everything else. If he could lie down, he wouldn’t sit; if he could sit, he wouldn’t stand, let alone learn to walk. Wouldn’t he be even more comfortable if he was held in someone’s arms?
Later, Olivia was finally looking forward to the day when Gabriel would start walking and running, but she didn’t have to worry for long. She discovered that other children had already started early childhood education, learning numbers, colors, shapes, and even foreign languages.
Gabriel, on the other hand, would fall asleep as soon as she started to tell him a fairy tale.
Even before Snow White was driven into the forest by the evil queen, he fell asleep.
Olivia has been by Paige’s side all these years and has long considered her family, and Gabriel her grandson. This has made her so anxious that she has been unable to sleep at night, and she has gone gray a few times.
At one point, she thought that Paige’s nickname was the cause of the problem, and at another, she wondered if the medication that Master took for his AS schizophrenia gene had caused Gabriel to be like this.
Paige is very concerned about Gabriel’s education. She believes that it is natural for children to be open-minded, and that it is fine if they are not, as long as they are healthy and cheerful.
But Olivia doesn’t think so. This is the son of Master Enrico and Miss Paige, so how can he fall behind? Absolutely not!
So while Paige was away at the border, she took Gabriel to see every early childhood education teacher and institution in the border area, determined to turn Gabriel into a child prodigy.
Today was just another ordinary day, and she took Gabriel to an early childhood education institution.
During the class, Gabriel started to make excuses again, saying that he needed to go to the bathroom and that he didn’t want to listen to the teacher talking about Arabic numerals.
The early childhood education institution was just a small place, and it was all familiar to them, so she just sat outside and waited. After a while, she didn’t notice anything, and Gabriel was used to avoiding learning anyway.
Unexpectedly, when she went to the special children’s bathroom to look, the child was already gone.
The child, who was usually too lazy to take even a few extra steps, had just disappeared right under her watchful eye.
She checked the surveillance cameras along the way and finally found him at the pier.
The pier was so dangerous, it was right next to the sea!
Olivia hurriedly ran down the stairs, and everyone else spread out and searched in circles.
One of the bodyguards came running over, frowned, and shouted, “There’s no need to search anymore, Olivia. I checked the surveillance cameras at the pier, and Gabriel got into a taxi with a tall man and has already left.”
At the border, Kevin was the boss, and Paige was the second in command. The surveillance cameras were switched on at their command.
“What?” Olivia heard the news and thought she had encountered a villain. Her eyes went dark and she fainted.

Paige never imagined that the reversal would come so soon.
She was still talking to Kevin during the day about how Enrico would never be able to find Gabriel, and that night she received a call from Kevin.
And the cruise ship she was on was still floating at sea, not having returned to The Capital.
“I’ve carefully reviewed the surveillance footage. Gabriel approached Enrico on his own. The two of them said something to each other, and Enrico took Gabriel away in his car. They’re now staying at the hotel diagonally across from my house,” Kevin said on the phone.
Paige stood in front of the bedroom floor-to-ceiling windows, looking at her faint reflection in the glass. Her eyebrows were slightly furrowed and her face was a little pale. “I spoke to Olivia on the phone during the day and told her that you would be returning to the border today. She also asked me if I would be back. I guess Gabriel heard it and he wanted to come find me.”
As a result, Enrico returned to the pier again because she didn’t answer the phone.
The two of them just happened to run into each other.
Was she asking for this?
“Enrico didn’t call you?” Kevin asked, a little surprised.
Seeing a child with the same eyes as his, Enrico didn’t immediately ask about Paige.
“Not yet. You said Gabriel was wearing sunglasses on the security footage, so it’s not surprising that Enrico didn’t recognize him.”
And given Enrico’s mentality, he was prepared to never have children. How could he possibly think that a child who appeared out of nowhere was his?
“Does Gabriel know him?” Kevin asked.
“…”
Paige was silent for a moment, and said, ‘I’m not sure.’
Gabriel has been different from birth. While other children like to say things like, ‘My daddy is so-and-so,’ he has never asked where his own father is.
He either plays with blocks all day or sleeps, as if he has something to do. He doesn’t have the slightest bit of sensitivity that belongs to a single-parent family.
A few times, she still took out Enrico’s photo to show Gabriel before going to sleep and told him that this is his daddy.
But after a few words, the little guy fell asleep.
