“I see why the High Elves have such faith in you,” Opheira informed me. “We have been very fortunate in your arrival. First, our summon was answered and, second, the answer was you.”
I smiled and nodded, very distracted by the fact that Creadean was giving me hungry eyes and had a burning need for sex. Thinking back, Creadean had always been taken to my bed the day after Tavorwen, and Tavorwen had said her body had purged yesterday, ejecting my sperm and triggering her need for more. That meant likely Creadean would be purging today, and that explained why she was drooling and giving me ‘fuck me’ eyes.
Luckily, with no feast, it was easy for Creadean and me to slip away to our chambers.
“Gods, Master, I never believed the tales of how much I would need this, but…” Creadean groaned as she lowered herself onto my dick, “… by the Five Heavens, I never want to be without this again.”
I laid back and just enjoyed as Creadean performed a dance of pleasure on my groin. My mind replayed the collage of my matrons all riding or taking my cock as Creadean worked her magic on my manhood. I loved watching her breasts bounce as she bounced and ground into me. I loved groping titties as much as the next guy, but watching them jiggle was also great. Gotta shake things up, after all, I had a lot of elves relying on me for sexual satisfaction, so as much as I enjoyed it, it was kinda one of my jobs at this point. So I just took as much pleasure as I could until I grabbed her hips, thrust deep into her, and released.
As we cuddled, I thought about all my matrons, and until I got more matrons, or Amura decided to take that plunge, the only matron yet to be taken to my bed was Nauveir. I’d take care of that tomorrow, either before the enclave or after, and we’d see how things went moving forward.
I mused about the way my life in this world was turning out. My life was basically half bloody warfare and half amazing orgy right now, and that was a strange balance to strike. I knew this much action could easily get to a man, but I had the advantage of whatever it was that had been implemented to relieve me of the burden of stress and mental overload. I hardly even noticed anymore as the cool, healing energy soothed my mind and healed the mental trauma I received. That took away the worst parts of being a soldier, especially since in my current position the other worst part of being a soldier (the bureaucracy) was also gone. That meant that I could just do what needed to be done and enjoy fabulous sex with my household of sex icons.
Over dinner, several of the Wild Elves joined us for the simple fair of fresh warm bread and some type of game bird that tasted reminiscent of quail. Some chatted with my matrons, like the maiden that discussed with Mavrin the spell she’d used to allow me to hunt the kaneg queens undetected. A few of the elves, however, came to talk with me. We talked about all sorts of things: details of my exploits before coming to the planes, questions about how my fights against the kanegs had gone, and even questions about my home on Earth. They were fascinated and I was impressed with their intelligence and insight.
After dinner, I was able to just rest and relax. It was a good chance to recover. If Eaphra’s initial reaction was any indicator, there would be a lot of objection to our presence and some resistance to our request for cooperation. I was never good at preparing for diplomatic engagements, my style was more relaxed and prepared and going with the flow. So resting would put me in a good situation for the next day.
We were roused early and fed before being led to the stable to make our way to Shiavir. Sorry Nauveir, looks like you’re waiting for this evening, I thought as we headed out. The party was much larger than when we went kaneg hunting. We had both of the elders of the Vorith Hratha and half a dozen warriors on grass drake and friror, with another three on hiersver. It was a long, hard ride to reach Shiavir, and by the time we arrived, I was starting to get sore from my time in the saddle.
As we reached some tiny ruins, smaller than the ruins above Maelgrum, a hidden gate rose revealing an entrance to a stable for the city below. I couldn’t tell if it was an attempt at a flex, but the stable was crawling with Wild Elves. They took Jauna from me and led her to a stall to feed her and clean her off.
“The Orin greet the Vorith… and your guests.” A deep voice greeted us.
I think the speaker was the first elven male elder I had ever seen. He was only a couple of inches shorter than me or would be if he stood tall. He had a bit of a slouch, and I could see he was putting weight on his cane. His hair was white and stark against his dark brown skin. He was flanked by multiple Orin warriors.
I noticed quickly that the soldiers of the Orin Hratha had white plate-like armor. I couldn’t place what material it was made of until I realized it was sections of kaneg exoskeleton turned into armor.
“Greetings from the Vorith to the Orin and all who dwell in their house,” Opheira replied in a ritualistic reply. “The Vorith bring friends from the forest of the High Elves, bearing news and favors for the people of the plains.”
The Orin elder narrowed his eyes, and I almost sighed as I saw the same resistance Ephra had at my arrival.
“The High Elves have taken to consorting with strange friends.” He declared.
“Magnus, you would be wise to put that stubborn attitude of yours on a shelf for a time.” Opheira chided. “While I cannot refute their strangeness, I think you’ll find them to be far better allies than strangers held at arm’s length.”
“Don’t take that tone with me, ELDER.” He rebuked her. “Some of us have gathered more wisdom over our lifetimes than others… I will see you at the enclave.”
And with that he turned and walked away, his cane thumping against the dirt floor as he walked. His guards went with him, the maidens giving us a glare before wheeling and stalking after him.
“Git…” Opheira muttered once he was out of earshot.
We were guided through the highly organized tunnels of the greater tribe, and it was evident pretty fast that there were a lot more elves living here than in Maelgrum. This made sense as there were four Hratha, each stronger than the Vorith, living in this single underground city.
We were taken to a side chamber with wooden chairs to wait.
“I must apologize.” Opheira sighed, “Would that you had worked with any of the greater Hratha, your arrival would have been met with much greater respect. I am afraid the Vorith carry little respect and as one of the two elders of the Hratha I command an equally small amount of respect.”
“You were willing to talk to us.” I shrugged. “You got our foot in the door. I’ve had to earn respect before, and I can do it again.”
Opheira snorted. “If after all you’ve done, those high-nosed twits don’t acknowledge your contributions… well, they would be bigger fools than I take them for.”
Waiting for the elves to come and collect us seemed to take an eternity. The Wild Elves with us didn’t seem bothered, and even my Wood Elven companions were unconcerned. I just did not have patience for this right now, though with no other options, I tried not to fidget as I sat.
Finally, a couple of Wild Elf maidens came to collect us and guided us to a small structure on the surface. Walking in, I immediately realized why the enclave was being held here. It was a temple to the Elven gods, though it appeared all the statues of the Elven gods were destroyed. I would bet that most of them had been destroyed by Shadow Elves ransacking the village. A circle of padded chairs, far nicer than the ones we’d just sat in for hours, was set in the center of the chamber, and by the looks of it, there were the standard wooden chairs in clusters around the circle for those not deemed worthy of sitting in the central circle. We seemed to be the last ones to arrive, and three chairs in the inner circle were reserved for us. Magnus was the only male in the circle, and just like the Council of Elders in Ealphamir, they were a mix of matrons and maidens, priestesses, mages, and generals. Opheira and Eaphra claimed two of the inner seats, and their entourage and my companions took the lesser seats, making it even more obvious that the last seat was for me.
As I sat next to the Elders, leaning my rifles and my longer blade against the chair, and a murmur rippled around the seated elves. I realized the single seat was a method of figuring out who from the strange visitors was the most important or powerful. I had become somewhat accustomed to being in a leadership role, leading my squad in special ops and in my previous roles, but I’d always tried to avoid being the ‘big boss’ who had to report in the meetings with the bigwigs.
“Now that we are all present, we may continue.” Magnus declared.
Continue? I thought. They had begun the discussions without us.
“Representatives of Hratha Vorith, none of the other Hratha have sought to antagonize the kanegs who most have been unable to keep in check. However, in the past several days, one of the hives has moved, and others have begun pushing at their borders. We know you are responsible for upsetting the delicate balance held on our plain. You know the devastating effects that could result from these interferences! Why would you, who are so weak, be so reckless?” Magnus snapped.
