At the hospital, two bodyguards stood at the door of Audrey’s room, one on each side.
They were there to prevent her from attempting to harm herself again.
Sirena only dared to sneak in to see Audrey after confirming that Ulric was not at the hospital.
“Why are you so foolish…” She hugged Audrey as soon as she entered. “It’s fine if Ulric doesn’t want to marry me. Please don’t force him or hurt yourself! I don’t want to lose you, someone who cares for me.”
