Chapter 125: Stunned Everyone!

Book:Back To Thrones Published:2024-10-15

It’s really Kayden! He’s actually alive!
Sophie’s mood brightened in an instant, as if the dark clouds had been swept away to reveal the sun. It dispelled all her previous gloom.
So, he’s an intern? If that’s the case, it meant he’s not Sariah’s kept man. This conclusion filled Sophie with surprise and excitement.
“This is our new intern teacher!” Professor Flores gave a hasty introduction of Kayden before launching into his lecture.
Kayden had intended to clarify that he wasn’t actually an intern, but considering it wasn’t appropriate to interrupt the class, he chose to remain silent.
The course was about traditional medicine, delving into the rich culture of Seclela’s medical practices. Yet the students seemed uninterested. They appeared listless and absentminded even with Professor Flores’ teaching.
Kayden was an exception. He was listening with rapt attention as if it were a rare opportunity for him to sit in a classroom to study. He fully immersed himself in the role of a student.
Actually he relished the learning process itself because much of this class content was directly relevant to his practical experience.
While then Kayden suddenly found Professor Flores made a mistake when he talked about the herbal medicine making process.
He couldn’t help but interrupt Professor Flores, “Professor Flores, you’ve made a mistake here!”
Professor Flores halted immediately, staring at Kayden with a surprised look.
All other students widened their eyes in astonishment. They couldn’t believe an intern would have the guts to point out Professor Flores’ mistake.
That’s Professor Flores! He’s a symbol of authority in this school, and even the principal wouldn’t dare to question him easily.
Shock was written in the eyes of everyone present, and their hearts filled with awe for Kayden.
Time seemed to stand still in this second. Everyone cast Kayden an admiring gaze.
Professor Flores pushed his glasses up his nose and calmly asked, “Where’s the mistake?”
Without hesitation, Kayden stood up and clearly pointed out the mistake.
Professor Flores gestured him to come forward, so Kayden walked up to the platform and started his lecture to an audience of over one hundred students.
He treated the lecture as if it were a briefing in Battlefield, and treated the students as his subordinates. He taught them in this particular style.
His lecture immediately caught the attention of the absentminded students.
As if it were magic, his words could draw their scattered attention back together.
His explanations were incredibly engaging, and soon every student in the classroom was captivated and listening intently.
Not only the students, but even Professor Flores found himself deeply intrigued. He stood aside, listening keenly. This intern not only helped him tackle one of his troubles but also introduced a refreshingly innovative teaching style.
The skepticism in Professor Flores’ eyes shifted to appreciation and finally blossomed into admiration. What an impressive, astonishing and wonderful teaching style!
He didn’t even need to reference the textbook to list out the detailed process of ancient medicine making. His explanation even surpassed the textbook in thoroughness.
This intern overturned Professor Flores’ perceptions!
Eventually Professor Flores chose to sit in Kayden’s seat, listening while taking notes attentively.
Sophie sat there dumbfounded. She had thought Kayden was just a show-off, but much to her surprise, his performance in class was truly exceptional. Undeniably his teaching style was even more captivating than that of many seasoned professors.
As he elaborated on the details, it felt as though he vividly painted pictures in the mind of his audience. It’s not something everyone could achieve.
It’s hard to believe he’s merely an intern. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call him a professor!
Students usually found class time long and tedious, especially when classes always lasted for at least tens of minutes. However, Kayden’s lesson made them feel as if time flew by in an instant.
Under Kayden’s interpretation, the once dull and monotonous medicine class became more vibrant and engaging. It turned into a sought-after elective for students.
When the bell rang, most students still stay immersed in this atmosphere, reluctant to leave. Outside the classroom, the sounds of chatter and footsteps from other students could be heard, but inside, all was unnaturally silent. Not a student chose to leave, and everyone remained seated at their desks.
Shortly after, one of them began to clap, then thunderous applause erupted throughout the room.
All the students got up to give Kayden the most enthusiastic round of applause.
Summoning up her courage, Sophie walked up to Kayden.
She planned to invite him to dinner to thank him for his help last time. Yes, she intended to use this excuse to ask him out. He wouldn’t refuse, she believed.
But before she could reach the platform, countless girls rushed up to Kayden.
“Sir, can I add you on WhatsApp? Messenger works too, or could you please give me your phone number?”
“Sir, can I invite you to dinner? I suddenly have a strong interest in traditional medicine tonight!”
“Sir, you must have developed in-depth knowledge of tradition medicine. May I take you some time and ask you some professional questions?”
Faced with such a large crowd, Sophie had no other way but to stop. Gosh, it’s completely over the top!
Professor Flores also frowned at this scene. He hurriedly stepped in to shield Kayden, grabbing his arm tightly as if he were a precious treasure. “Excuse me, please come with me for a moment,” he said.
And then Kayden was taken to the teachers’ office.
As soon as they entered the office, a female teacher approached Professor Flores and said, “Professor Flores, I received a call from Garrett Marcos, the new intern. He said he had an urgent matter today and wouldn’t be able to come until tomorrow.”
Professor Flores was taken back. He immediately turned to Kayden, asking, “Aren’t you the intern?”
“No,” Kayden shook his head slightly.
“Then who are you, young man?” Professor Flores asked, his confusion evident.
Before Kayden could answer, Professor Flores interrupted in an excited tone, “It doesn’t matter who you are. I have a few questions. Can you help me with them?”
Kayden looked at Professor Flores. It seemed he had no reason to refuse. He could only give a nod. “I can give it a try.”
