MISSING A GUEST

ARIANA’S POV~
I couldn’t sleep all night, I was deeply troubled, what kind of game had I entered? And now, im at the centre of it.
Barely three months ago I was ignorant of all this, and now I can’t see a way of escaping from this nightmare.
I turned in my bed and the view of my window came to light, I could see the fullness of the moon and I was pulled to it.
I got out of bed and moved towards the window, I leaned against it and memories of my first night with Mateo were all I could picture in my mind’s eye.
I missed him, in all this chaos, his absence made the loudest noise.
I sighed as I relived the way he touched me, the way his body moved over mine as he thrust deeper into me.
The way he would growl in my ears when he was about to devour me.
I could see his primate urge to take me right there in his eyes and I’d never been wanted so badly by a man before, it left me imprinted on him, and now it has led me to my doom.
I sighed again before I turned to walk toward the stairs. I walked down until I reached Mateo’s room.
The machines beeped endlessly as he slept and everything seemed to be fine. I was expecting that I would meet Becky here but I guess it was a lucky night.
I moved closer to him, pulled the chair closer and sat.
“I’m losing my mind here Mateo, so many crazy things going on all at once” I paused before looking at his sleeping face.
“Is this what you had to deal with? With Papa, all these years?” I inquired softly as tears fell from my eyes.
I wondered about his life, all those years alone with him, his fury, his games, his wrath.
“Is that why you are like this?” I asked, touching his chin lightly.
“You were always just an asshole, always getting me in trouble, I hated you, fuck I still do!” I cursed before touching his beating chest as it raised.
He was naked under the sheets, the doctors wanted it that way, they had wanted the balls to breathe since he had just come out of surgery.
I was afraid to look under the sheets, but the cold of the night urged me to imagine things I shouldn’t.
Even though I had a lot moving through my mind I felt the urge to climb on top of him and sit on his dick, and ride him into the sunset.
But his dick… doesn’t work, and it never will.
And my dear sleeping husband doesn’t know this.
I traced my fingers down and circled his shaft on the sheets.
He stirred, and I gasped in excitement, but it soon faded when I saw nothing happened.
I have to live the rest of my life with a man I crave, a man who would never fuck me the way he did in those tunnels.
“What the hell are you doing?” I heard a voice ask.
I turned to look, Becky was standing by the door in her nightwear.
“Comforting my husband, what the hell do you think?” I asked taking my hand away and covering his feet with the sheets.
“You won’t let him rest, always all over him like a fucking bitch on heat, you did this to him and now you are here to finish the job” she mocked.
I smiled, what if Becky’s presence here was a mission, but by who and how long has this charade been going on?
Who the hell is she working for?
“The last time I saw you, you were on a bed just like this” I reminded, she stepped back in shock.
“Excuse me?” she gasped in shock.
“Whatever happened to your illness, it was cancer, right? Your recovery was really fast, never seen anyone recover so fast and in months damn” I replied.
“You really must have God on your side” I smiled before moving past her.
” maybe the doctor got it all wrong” she replied almost immediately and I knew there was something she was hiding.
“I’m sure they did,” I said before stopping behind her as she approached Mateo
“I know you are hiding something Miss Saunders, and I’m going to be the bitch that figures it out, just watch” I replied before looking from the door again.
” she’s not to spend a second in this room without supervision, understand?” I informed the guards by the door who nodded in agreement.
The last thing I saw before walking off towards the main hall was Becky’s piercing glare.
This has been a ploy from the beginning before I ever got to Marina Verde.
Something I have to figure out and protect my weakened husband from.
So far no one except Papa knows about Mateo’s condition and that is the leverage he held over me.
I knew soon he would call to make his fucking demands.
As I stepped out into the main hall I looked around.
It was dead silent but we had guards stationed everywhere, every room I entered there was a guard to acknowledge me at the corner.
I needed answers, Alessio had been out all day, hopefully, he comes back with some fucking answers.
Who the hell is the man I spoke to? He said I’d figure it out. But how.
The last time I got some clues from Estella, I needed to see her.
I walked to the staff quarters where I was greeted by the manager, since Nicola’s escape she had been handling things.
“I want Estella brought to me” I ordered.
She looked at me in confusion, “Maam we don’t have an Estella in our employ” she replied.
“She’s not a worker, she’s…” I couldn’t finish the sentence, how do I describe a crazy woman to her, surely everyone knows who she is.
“Estella, my height? Curly brown hair, and she’s a little crazy” I described.
She tossed the person beside her a glance before turning back to me in confusion.
“Maam there’s no one here with that description,” she replied.
I was startled, “what the hell, I saw her a few days ago. Twice now, what do you mean? Are you new? I’m guessing you are new here?”
The woman shook her head in disagreement, “I’ve been working for Don Mateo for the past 5 years and I’ve never seen or heard about a crazy lady by the name Estella”
What the hell is going on here? Has it all been in my head or is someone very good at hiding her?
It seems I’m talking to the wrong manager, I need to find Micola.
