“Tell me, where is the tree?” Paige asked coldly.
Her pale face was cold to the extreme, and there was not a trace of her usual aura.
In this state, not to mention Alfredo, who had been separated for three years, Dr. Clinton, who was not familiar with Paige, and the large group of people who felt strange, even Kevin couldn’t help but frown when he looked at her.
Kevin couldn’t help but look at Enrico, and saw the pervert standing in the courtyard, next to the bodies of several poisonous snakes. He had one hand in his trouser pocket, looking a bit casual, while his eyes were fixed on Paige, first frowning, then raising the corner of his lips.
“Paige, I won’t tell if you do this, ah-”
Quint was also provoked, glaring angrily at Paige, but unexpectedly another whip fell from the sky.
He was whipped all over the ground, blood smeared all over the place.
“Are you going to talk?” Paige stared at him coldly, her eyes red, her five fingers clenching the whip in her hand, waiting for an answer.
“You, phoo…” Quint spat on the ground.
Paige’s face became even more fierce, and she swung hard at him, whip after whip, asking, “Where is the tree, say!”
You could hear how painful the white tiger skin whip was when it hit someone.
“Paige…” Alfredo looked at her in shock.
She didn’t just look like she was about to kill someone, she was killing someone.
He had never seen her like this before.
“Paige, stop, you’ll kill him!” Kevin couldn’t help but step forward and say, she had never been such a ruthless person, besides, this could be considered torture and murder.
“Paige, stop, just kill him quickly,” Alfredo also helped persuade her.
“Paige, snap out of it. This isn’t like you.” Kevin felt that at this moment, Paige had completely lost her mind.
Sure enough, Paige didn’t listen at all, and continued to whip Quint over and over.
Quint was beaten until his skin was split open and he was soon a bloody mess, unable to say anything.
“Speak! Where is the tree?” Paige’s eyes were almost red from the beating, and her voice was cold and full of murderous intent.
No one can let Enrico die.
No one can take his life.
He has to live!
He has to live forever!
Paige raised the whip in her hand and was about to strike again when her wrist was suddenly grasped.
She struggled, but her wrists were held even tighter.
She raised her face in dissatisfaction, and she saw Enrico standing in front of her. He looked down at her with deep, abyssal eyes.
Enrico forcefully pressed her wrists down a little by little, and in full view of everyone, leaned down towards her, staring at the two flushes of blood on her face, curling his lips, his voice low and sexy, “Paige, it’s the first time I’ve seen you go crazy over me, I’m very happy.”
“…”
Paige stood in front of him, her originally clear eyes now becoming deep red, like the blood of a poisonous snake.
She looked at him expressionlessly.
“But that’s enough here. The blood of such a person is not worthy of spilling on you. I’ll have someone deal with it,” Enrico said, about to release her hand holding the whip.
But he failed to do so.
Paige was holding it very tightly, gripping the whip with all her strength.
Enrico glanced down, reached up and placed his hand on the back of her neck. His thin lips approached her face and stopped at the corner of her lips, ‘Be a good girl and give me the whip.”
“…’ Paige remained motionless.
Alfredo sat weakly by the door, watching as the intimidating man moved seductively closer to Paige, and she did not flinch.
“Be a good girl, I won’t die, I’ll always be with you,” Enrico whispered, almost cooing like a child, his warm lips brushing her mouth.
At the sound of his voice, Paige’s eyes trembled, and only then did her hand slowly release its grip.
“That’s a good girl,” Enrico praised her, kissing her mouth before taking the whip from her hand.
This time it was easy.
“…”
Kevin was still standing outside the courtyard with the rest of the group. He looked at the two figures in the courtyard, who were intertwined, and smiled to himself self-deprecatingly, his gaze bleak.
He and Alfredo had been persuading for so long, but it was no match for Enrico’s words.
Enrico took Paige’s whip and turned around, kicking the bloody bald man on the ground. “If you want a quick death, just say it, where is the tree?”
Quint fell to the ground, convulsing, blood smeared all over his face, unable to see anything.
He had wanted to say it long ago!
In fact, after the first three lashes from Paige, he had wanted to say it, but the pain from the subsequent lashes made it impossible.
Paige was like a madwoman, just beating him, and he never had a chance to say it!
Quint spat out some blood and said, trembling, “I threw it down the mountain, to the shack area.”
Upon hearing this, Paige’s long eyelashes twitched, as if she had just come to her senses. Her gaze changed, and she turned around and ran outside.
Suddenly, as if she had thought of something, she looked back at Alfredo, who was still sitting there paralyzed, and said, “Kevin, save him.”
“Got it,” Kevin nodded, leading the way across the yard and helping Alfredo up from the ground. “How are you doing? Can you walk?”
“I can walk,” Alfredo stood up from the ground with his help, and after looking at him several times, he recognized him, “It’s you.”
Their relationship could hardly be described as friendly.
After all, one was Paige’s number one scandal, and the other was her number two scandal.
“Yes, it’s me. Let’s go,” Kevin said, supporting him as they left.

Late at night, Paige rushed back to the shack in one go, judging the location and searching continuously.
Eventually, she found the dead tree in an open space behind her original shack.
She shone the flashlight over it and saw that the tree had fallen to the ground, with many branches broken off. It looked like a decaying, dead tree, and even the bark was like an old man’s hands, old and full of wrinkles.
Paige pounced over and, holding the flashlight in a tight grip, looked at it. She saw that there were some flowers with pink petals and white cores blooming on the branches, and the flowers were showing signs of withering.
There were also some very small fruits on them, like black grapes.
The flowers and fruit are growing together.
But the fruit is also rotting.
“Dr. Clinton! Dr. Clinton!” she shouted.
“I’m coming, I’m coming.” Dr. Clinton had never expected that he would have to enter the shack again, so he rushed in, covering his nose and mouth, and didn’t dare to stop. He was relieved to see the big tree lying on the ground, “It’s really still here.”
“Quick, cut some flowers and fruit first,” Paige said anxiously.
“Okay.” Dr. Clinton also knew the importance of this matter, so he quickly opened his medical kit and opened the plastic bag, leaning under the branch and cutting the flowers with scissors.
“You find a way to take these flowers and fruits to study, and I’ll find a way to keep the tree alive,” Paige said, helping to open the plastic bag and put the fruits and flowers in.
“No problem,” Dr. Clinton said.
“Paige, leave the tree to me, I know how to grow it,” a voice said.
Paige turned her head and saw Artie and Bastion walking towards her in the moonlight. Everyone could guess how important the tree was to her after she almost tortured Quint to death on the mountain.
Artie was good at this, so Paige nodded, “Okay, thanks Uncle Artie.”
After taking care of this, Paige sent off Artie and Dr. Clinton, and her worries were temporarily put aside.
She walked forward and went around the front of the shack, only to see a tall figure standing in the moonlight, with a pale reddish hue draped over his shoulders. He was extraordinarily handsome and had an unparalleled bearing.
