“You captured Elder Tommy and the others to lure me to Enchant Realm City. Now that I’m here, tell me your intentions,” Billy said as he took his seat and looked at the other party.
“Mr. Billy seems to be quite impatient!” the Enchantress replied with a faint smile.
“Let’s get straight to the point; I don’t have much patience,” Billy responded.
“Rest assured, Mr. Billy. I’ve been friends with those three for a thousand years. I won’t harm them,” the Enchantress said.
As she spoke, she waved her hand, and a ripple appeared in the air not far from her, like water waves.
After the ripple subsided, an image appeared before Billy and his group. It showed a palace hall where three elders-Tommy, the Scholar, and Annalise-sat on a sofa. They didn’t seem to be seriously injured.
“How about now, Mr. Billy? Are you reassured?” the Enchantress asked as she waved her hand again, making the image disappear.
“Tell me your purpose,” Billy demanded.
“I want to borrow two things from you, Mr. Billy. Would you be willing to part with them?” the Enchantress smiled.
“The Nine Dragons Cauldron and the Skystone?” Billy asked.
“If you’re willing, consider it a favor I owe you,” the Enchantress continued to smile.
“A thousand years ago, you betrayed the Lady of Heaven for the Skystone, didn’t you?” Billy asked again.
“Rumors are not to be trusted,” the Enchantress replied. “I never betrayed her. She couldn’t tolerate me, so I had to save myself.”
“Really?” Billy responded lightly. “You killed so many people to save yourself?”
“If I didn’t kill them, they would have killed me. What would you have done in my place?” the Enchantress retorted.
“You want the Skystone to command those in Silent Ruins Sky Realm?” Billy continued to ask.
“No,” the Enchantress shook her head with a smile. “I don’t have such ambitions.”
“Then why do you want the Skystone?” Stout asked. “Don’t tell us you’re planning to use it to reinforce the seal of Silent Ruins Sky Realm for the sake of all living beings.”
“Do you believe that?” the Enchantress asked back.
“No,” Stout shook his head.
“Then why ask?” the Enchantress smiled again.
“So why do you want the Skystone?” Stout asked again.
“Emmalee, I know why you’re close to Mr. Billy,” the Enchantress turned to Emmalee. “How about we make a deal?”
“Sorry, but you’ll be disappointed,” Emmalee replied. “I have no ulterior motives towards Mr. Billy; we’re just friends.”
“Do you believe that yourself?” the Enchantress laughed and continued.
“Although I don’t know if your Abyssal Realm has any interest in the Nine Dragons Cauldron, I know you want to go to a higher-level star domain.”
“If we cooperate, we can each take one of the Skystone and Nine Dragons Cauldron. You can choose first…”
“You guessed wrong,” Emmalee interrupted her. “I’ll say it again: Mr. Billy and I are just friends.”
“Moreover, although the Skystone and Nine Dragons Cauldron are treasures, they don’t hold much appeal for my Abyssal Realm…”
“Really?” the Enchantress smiled faintly. “What if I told you that the entrance to a higher-level star domain is in Silent Ruins Sky Realm?”
Hearing this, Emmalee’s eyes narrowed slightly.
“Are you serious?” Stout asked. “Is the entrance to a higher-level star domain really in Silent Ruins Sky Realm?”
Billy and the others were equally surprised by this revelation.
“I never lie,” Emmalee smiled.
“You want the Skystone to go to a higher-level star domain?” Stout asked again.
“I’m over a thousand years old. If I stay in a mid-level star domain, I won’t have much time left,” the Enchantress continued to smile.
“To live for another few thousand years, I need to go to a higher-level star domain. You should understand my feelings.”
“We understand,” Judge replied. “But you’re overestimating your chances; you probably won’t get there.”
The Enchantress laughed and looked at Emmalee again. “So, Miss Emmalee, will you consider it?”
“You want the Skystone not just to go to a higher-level star domain, right?” Emmalee didn’t answer directly.
“What do you think my reason is?” the Enchantress smiled and asked back.
“Only you know that,” Emmalee replied.
The Enchantress laughed again and said, “Miss Emmalee, you haven’t answered my question yet. Will you consider cooperating with Enchant Realm?”
“My Abyssal Realm would only consider cooperating with Mr. Billy,” Emmalee replied.
“What a pity!” The Enchantress smiled. “I wanted to give your Abyssal Realm a chance, but since you’re not interested, forget it!”
She then turned to Billy. “Mr. Billy, how about we cooperate?”
“What kind of cooperation are you proposing?” Billy asked calmly.
“If I’m not mistaken, you’ve come all this way from a low-level star domain because you want to go to a higher-level star domain.”
“If you’re willing to give up the Skystone, I can take you to the entrance of a higher-level star domain.”
“Of course, I can’t guarantee you’ll make it there because, as far as I know, very few have succeeded in nearly ten thousand years.”
“You think we’re fools?” Soul Chaser interjected.
“We have the Skystone; we can go to Silent Ruins Sky Realm ourselves without your help.”
“You might not understand the one who sealed Silent Ruins Sky Realm back then,” the Enchantress continued with a smile.
“He sealed it not only to prevent intruders from coming out but also to stop people from higher-level star domains from entering mid-level star domains.”
“So, that entrance is extremely hidden. There might be only a few people in all six-star domains who know its location.”
“And there’s an array at the entrance. Even if someone stumbles upon it by accident, they won’t get through without breaking the array.”
“How do you know about this entrance?” Soul Chaser asked again.
“I’ve lived for over a thousand years. If I want to know something, it’s not too difficult,” the Enchantress replied.
“Can you break that array?” White Tiger asked.
“I can’t break it either,” the Enchantress shook her head. “But I know someone who can.”
“Who?” White Tiger pressed.
“If Mr. Billy is willing to cooperate with me, I’ll tell you where to find that person,” the Enchantress turned to Billy.
“Mr. Billy, don’t trust her words!” Emmalee warned from the side.
“Miss Emmalee, you’ve already refused my goodwill, so you’d better say less or I’ll be unhappy,” the Enchantress smiled at Emmalee.
Then she looked at Billy again. “Mr. Billy, what do you think? Will you consider it?”
