“Keep what the lady gave you safe. Don’t show it off easily, especially in this Silent Ruins place. A small mistake could bring you fatal trouble.”
After a while, the old man adjusted his emotions and returned the Skystone to Billy.
“Thank you for the reminder, Sir!” Billy stored the stone in his storage ring.
“You brought them to see me, not just to make a bet, right?” The old man then looked at The Scholar. “Tell me, what’s the matter?”
“Sir, I asked The Scholar to bring me to the Silent Ruins,” Billy replied. “I have some grudges with the Enchant Realm and Sky Realm. I don’t want to be on the defensive, so…”
“So you want to take the initiative to find them?” The old man interrupted him.
“Exactly!” Billy nodded.
“If I’m not mistaken, you should be at the fifth-rank Entering Ancestry Realm, right?” the old man continued.
“Yes!” Billy responded.
“Do you know that in both the Enchant Realm and Sky Realm, even Holy Ancestry Realm experts are common?” the old man asked.
“I know!” Billy replied.
“Then why are you taking the initiative? Do you think you’re living too comfortably?” the old man asked again.
“Old man, you’re wrong this time!” The Scholar said. “Holden Wynn from Asura City and Jordyn from Enchant Realm were both killed. Do you know who killed them?”
“Are you trying to tell me he did it?” The old man pointed at Billy.
“Congratulations, you guessed right!” The Scholar responded.
“Do you think I’ll believe that?” the old man retorted.
“If you don’t believe it, you can fight Mr. Billy!” The Scholar said. “Don’t worry, I’ll ask Mr. Billy to go easy on you!”
The Scholar, is it really okay to be so high-profile?
“Do you have a treasure on you?” The old man saw from The Scholar’s expression that he wasn’t joking.
“To be honest, I have the Heavenly Xuan Array Compass!” Billy smiled and nodded.
“Oh?” The old man was slightly surprised. “Even with the Heavenly Xuan Array Compass, it shouldn’t be enough for you to leap into a major realm and kill your opponent, right?”
“Old man, why do you have so many questions!” The Scholar said. “Fulfill your bet first. I’ll answer your questions later!”
After speaking, he turned to Billy and his group. “Give him your swords!”
“Sir, can you forge weapons?” Azure Dragon asked the old man.
“The current Blacksmiths’ Alliance in the sixth-rank star domain was founded by him. Do you think he can forge weapons or not?” The Scholar added.
“What?” Everyone was stunned; they hadn’t expected this.
“The Scholar, hasn’t the Blacksmiths’ Alliance existed for over ten thousand years?” Azure Dragon asked.
“That’s why I said the current Blacksmiths’ Alliance!” The Scholar explained briefly.
After hearing his words, everyone finally understood.
The old man before them had a great interest and talent in weapon forging.
A thousand years ago, he was good friends with the then-leader of the Blacksmiths’ Alliance. They often competed in forging techniques.
Later, during a great upheaval a thousand years ago, the Blacksmiths’ Alliance was nearly wiped out, and its leader was killed. On his deathbed, he asked the old man to continue the Blacksmiths’ Alliance if he survived.
The old man did survive and fulfilled his promise.
“Whose sword is this?” The old man collected everyone’s swords and looked at the Bloodshadow Fury Blade with a hint of surprise in his eyes.
“It was given to me by an elder from my hometown!” Billy replied.
“Aren’t you from a lower-rank star domain?” The old man was puzzled. “How could an elder from your hometown have such a weapon?”
“I don’t know!” Billy shook his head.
“Sir, can you tell what kind of sword this is?” White Tiger asked.
“A good sword!” the old man responded.
“You all find a place nearby to settle down. I’ll come to find you in three days!” The old man then looked at The Scholar and Annalise. “I need help; you two come with me!”
“Mr. Billy, you can stay in the palace!” The Scholar said to Billy.
“Sir, don’t worry about us. We’ll walk around.” Billy replied.
“Alright!” The Scholar nodded.
Then, under the old man’s lead, the three of them flew away.
“Boss, where are we going?” White Tiger asked Billy.
“Casey, Stout, you two quickly undergo tribulation. Then we’ll look around,” Billy said to Casey and Stout.
“Okay!” Casey and Stout nodded simultaneously.
Then everyone flew up and soon arrived at an open area. Casey and Stout each found a place to sit cross-legged.
About half an hour later, Thunder Tribulation descended without suspense.
Casey and Stout had already accumulated enough in the Nine Dragons Cauldron Space, so they successfully endured the Thunder Tribulation and both stepped into the first-rank Entering Ancestry Realm.
“Congratulations, Mr. Kimmons and Stout!” After they adjusted their breaths and stood up, Azure Dragon congratulated them.
“You’ll be there soon too!” Casey smiled faintly in response.
“Let’s go; let’s look around!” Billy said as he led everyone forward.
“Boss, can you detect if there are other people in this ancient city?” Vermilion Bird asked as they walked.
“I can’t detect them!” Billy shook his head.
He had tried when he first came out of the starship; within his spiritual power’s coverage area, there were no living beings.
Later, near the palace, he also didn’t sense the old man’s presence.
“Billy, be careful; there’s someone in that forest ahead,” Purple Spirit’s voice sounded in Billy’s mind.
“Someone? Why can’t I sense them?” Billy asked after transferring his consciousness to his sea of knowledge.
“He must be using a special method to hide his aura, but I can sense him!” Purple Spirit continued. “However, I can only sense his presence but can’t detect his martial aura!”
“Hmm?” Billy was slightly surprised. “Even you can’t detect it…”
“Billy, be careful; he’s coming!” Purple Spirit interrupted him directly.
“Everyone fall back!” Billy shouted after withdrawing his consciousness from his sea of knowledge.
Casey and Harleen were stunned but quickly retreated without hesitation.
Almost simultaneously, a ghostly figure rapidly flashed toward them.
Billy frowned, flipped his wrist, and drew an arc-shaped blade light with another large knife from his storage ring.
The opponent showed no intention of retreating and swept out a gust of wind with a raised hand.
With a loud bang, Billy’s blade light shattered instantly, and waves of energy surged out.
Billy was blasted back four or five hundred meters by the impact and spat out blood from his churning insides.
“Billy!”
“Boss!”
Everyone exclaimed in shock.
“Everyone fall back; don’t come over!” Billy shouted loudly.
